Personal Information

  • Location
If there's a bright center to the universe, I'm on the planet it's furthest from.
  • Interests
    Writing, gaming, reading, writing.
  • Occupation
Writer/comedian, so basically... Being Awesome, preferrably in print.
  1. When will be seeing more variety in equipment modeling (as opposed to recoloring)? Sith Inquisitors especially seem to look virtually the same from level 20-50.
  2. Same for me (Winnow, Ven Zallow server) and my guild master (Matiyus) and everyone else in the guild that has tried. If this FP isn't playable LOCK IT DOWN. People keep finding this inadvertently, and it can really cause harm to one's PC, not to mention the frustration and potential loss of data in any other apps. In a word, unacceptable.
  3. I didn't double post the thread, by the way. I posted in two forums because I wasn't sure which, and one got moved over. So... not trying to be a dick or anything. -.-
  4. PREMISE: Leveling up an alt after having sloughed through most of the game's content can be an intimidating prospect. I'm looking to change that chore into something awesome. I'm in search of someone who wants to make an alt played exclusively when both of us are available to do so, thus co-oping the game from 1-50. HERE'S WHY: - Social gameplay. The game is just more fun played with other people. Furthermore, consistently playing with someone will create a very efficient style, making things as smooth and productive as possible. - Storylines! This is a big deal to me; I want to experience the awesome class quests, but there's no way I'll play every single class out there. This way, both people get to see two classes worth of story! - Flexibility. I've done it. Most flashpoints can be done with two players and two geared crew members. We can quest anywhere, we can do (almost) any quest without looking for a group. I'm open to any combo, leaning toward Republic because all my gameplay experience is Empire-related. Here are my top combos for playthrough: Player 1 / Player 2 Smuggler / Trooper (Republic) Knight / Consular (Republic) Bounty Hunter / Imperial Agent (Empire) Interested? E-mail me at wayward.son@live.com with a bit about yourself, send me a message through these forums, or look me up on Skype! My screenname is "Quillborne", a reference to my job as a writer.
  5. Addendum: I play an inordinate amount of time, so my times will be pretty open to anyone's schedule. It's sad, really.

  7. I...you...uh... I don't know what's going on anymore. D: The madness is spreading like mayonnaise on a monkey's *******. Haaaaalp! One of the earlier replies said it best: People are whining about the wait, and other people are whining about their whining. I'm just trying to say... Let's save our whining for making speeder sounds and stuff.
  8. I think the post was pretty concise. There are so many socially repressed people on the internet, especially in the gaming crowd. They need to rage. Trolling them in the midst of their pituitary glory won't get us anywhere. And then there's me joking about knowing Ray, supposedly in an effort to get into the game. See, misdirection humour works like this: Nevermind. Carry on, folks.
  9. Every MMO community has legions of people who QQ over anything that happens, ever. The smallest patch, slightest rebalance, the shortest downtime, even the wait-for-their-bonus-time-on-their-early-access-time-on-the-game-they-supposedly-want-to-quit-because-they-want-to-play-so-much-they-can't-wait. So yeah, they'll complain. And if you're reading this, yes the sky is falling. Quick, cancel your order for a day and then re-order. You'll be back on the end of the queue and I'll get in sooner. And to people trolling the people who are freaking out: It's old now. Don't give them attention, it just makes them noisier. Shh. And to Rockjaw: Dude, what's up? Was that thing fun or what? Remember when she was all Ooooo, and you were all like Whoooaaah. Crazy times, man. Crazy times. Hey, pop me an invite so we can go chat in a virtual cantina about how crazy those times were. >.>
  10. September 27 here. Question: When you guys click on "My Account" at the top of the site there, the "Get ready to play!" thing pops up... Does it still ask you to redeem a code there, too? Mine does, though in the Code History it clearly shows that I redeemed a CE code on 9/27/11. Seems messy, that the website would recognize its own cached data, and I'm nervous about getting my invite. Halp? P.S. (I know the launcher says it for everyone, just not sure about the site)
