  1. i seriously cannot believe I am reading a post like this. are you completely serious right now? you just want everything to be handed to you without earning it? and I see a lot of people agreeing with this is what shocks me THE MOST. what has the gaming community come to...*SMH* I seriously hope bioware or any other game brand never listens to the people like this..
  2. you cannot multibox the same account. nore can you multibox on the same computer. not physically possible with this game. so in order to "multibox" you need two different account + two computers. thus making it legal.
  3. maybe this has been touched upon before, but I was wanted to log in multiple accounts at the same time, is this possible somehow?
  4. tooche to this. i will admit to uneducated rhertoric on this. well played
  5. if people were actually spending hundreds of dollars exclusively in hopes to get one single item then clearly people have lost there mind and no point in wasting my breath. like moths to a flame...
  6. are you insane? yet just ANOTHER fanboi who will defend EA's greed at all cost. i play Monopoly and give my competitor 100 real dollars for park place because its cheaper after the conversion factor...lol. WHAT A DEAL!. do you realize how absurb you sound? whats the red speeder called ingame that's worth like 4 mil atm? whats the conversion on that? 80$? with your argument you shouldn't have a problem with BW charging that much right? *hangs head in sadness* and when that time comes, and it will, there will still be people buying said item and defending BW. ohh how the MMo industry has changed in the last 10 years... people say it is a high price, BUT after conversion its a deal.. so they rationalize and are ok with it. .what they don't seem to realize is that CC's are powered by the dollar, but its value is directly controlled by BW thus the conversion factor you defend makes no sense. the CC's are not a living breathing economy henseforth could directly control the value of said item by adjusting the prices of CC's people have totally lost sight and totally blind as they get there wallets bled thinking they are getting a good deal from BW.. they will keep jacking up prices under the guise of "CONVENIENCE" do you really think they are out to cut us deals?...ha!..they are out to make money plain and simple but keep thinking that. hope that mindset treats you well to everyone else!..now you all finally see what ive been saying about BW/EA and there CM. im sure you will see higher prices in the CM in the next coming year as well. this dye issue is just the beginning. they are testing the waters to see how much they can get away with. now that they have shown you a high priced item. we as players will not be so much in uprising the next time. just like what happened with the gas prices. the first time it went up after 9/11 it was almost civil unrest..it went down for a while then came back up and continued to rise to this day, but as you can the upheaval isn't as bad as it was in the beginning because people were used to it. ps..this is what wiki states about gambling and MMo's (CM packs could be construed as gambling) Gambling regulation[edit source] Conversion between in-game and real-world currency has led to direct comparisons with other on-line games of chance as 'virtual winnings'. This is why gamers and companies engaged in this conversion, where it is permitted by a game, may fall under gambling legislation.
  7. i don't understand what the hype is all about here...the video is a very short cinematic and not even actual game play...and to me, it looks like its still going to be on rails :/ am I missing something here?
  8. that's good, but you apparently aren't where I and most people that have already quit are. as I have stated, this post is for bored engamers that have already achieved getting the best gear. doing the same ops, same FP's same dailies gets old, and really fast. also as I have already stated that there are only two things to do for engamers, raid and drop coin. the whole point of this thread was to give variety in questing and to have rewards ingame that are currently only from the CM. if you are already at this point and still not bored, then gratz to you. but some server pops are getting lower every month for a reason....
  9. its good to have achievement in RL, but you seem to be missing my point..you would rather pay RL money to get something as opposed to earn it for free? do you not like questing or earning things? I would think not if you are defending the CM I am a engame raider and a bored one at that. I Miss sandbox MMo's because there was always something to do. sadly this game has only two outlets for endgamers, raiding and dropping coin to BW. but if you are defending the CM there isn't really any point discussing further, as im sure either side isn't going to budge the Cm saved the game yes, but they need to rethink there strategy. because the one thing that saved the game is going to kill it. people are only sticking around till something better comes along
  10. if your sense of achievement is derived from dropping 50-100$ a month for virtual items then congratz.
  11. with the addition of the CM virtually anything good or nice looking doesn't need to be earned under the guise of "choice" for the people that don't "have a lot of time to play" the sense of achievement has pretty much gone out the window for the most part...sure, they give us a few quest here and there to solely earn things such as the tauntun quest, but for the most part this game is mostly about a money grabbing scheme. with that said, think about this. imagine that every single item that can be bought through the CM was instead only acquired through questing. imagine how much there would be to do for bored endgamers. and I don't mean farming quest like the tauntaun...I mean real quest lol..but seriously, there would be virtually no bored people and always something to do. but sadly its only about bleeding out our wallets through the CM via virtual gambling. Boss: you don't meet the requirements for a managerial position sir. employee. please, I just don't have enough time to dedicate for that position. Boss: give me 200$ and you can be a manager and you can instantly get what you want. employee: great!..but wait, I see everyone here is a manager. what is the point now? Boss: who cares? everyone gets what they want. whats the problem? and lets be real, all I want is your money. employee: the problem is I feel manipulated and used now..but OK, ILL DO IT! car dealer : " yes I know im over charging you on this car. I tell you what, since it is over priced, I will throw in the engine for only 100 extra dollars!!" consumer " that's one heck of deal, ill take it!..what abour brakes?" car dealer " that will be another 500...." consumer " but, I thought I was buying the whole car, why are you charging me for things that should already come with the car?" dealer " because you will pay it"
  12. lol im so tired of BW milking there consumers like we are a bunch of F-ing cows. making us pay real money for crap that should be free as part of the CORE game just blows my mind. what ever game that started this quid pro quo of charging for emotes, thank you very much for thinking of just another way to rip off the consumer..as far as bioware is concerned they have took it to the next level and charge us for barber shop things...as I said before I understand charging for race and sex change, but to force the player to pay real life money to change hair color!? GREED! this trend will continue and only get worse..maybe not BW but perhaps another game will take it even further..charging for more core game things like...well, who knows. charging for the chat window? time ingame? charging to be able to enter certain areas of the game? this all seems ludicrous now, but 10 years ago, it was ludicrous to charge for emotes and barbershop. ..will we take a stand now, and put a stop to it, or will we have consumers that will continue to defend BW/EA and there greed at any cost + continue to feed our hard earned dollars to the greedy companies.. as I see it now it seems a large percentage of the player base will sit back and let themselves get ripped off.. and no I will not respond to anyone defending BW as I have heard it all before. and using our free stipends as an argument is weak at best. mabye if our stipends were more then what we get now, it might change my way of thinking..but as it is now, there are far too many other reasons to save and spend them such as name changes and of the like..yes we get those important things for free if the consumer is a smart saver, but that doenst give BW the right to charge us for core game mechanics. things like this just keep devaluing the subscription model. car dealer : " yes I know im over charging you on this car. I tell you what, since it is over priced, I will throw in the engine for only 100 extra dollars!!" consumer " that's one heck of deal, ill take it!..what abour brakes?" car dealer " that will be another 500...." consumer " but, I thought I was buying the whole car, why are you charging me for things that should already come with the car?" dealer " because you will pay it"
  13. this idea solves some problems, complaints, and needs of the customer base. so feel free to post any criticism good or bad, to help make this idea better for us and BW a lot of people are wanting pazaakk(spelling). I for one would love to see this happen. however, the problem is currency used to gamble with. BW needs credits sinks and gambling pretty much negates that. I propose a brand new cantina chip monetary system. these cantina chips will be used to gamble with in pazaak games. furthermore, chips earned can be used to purchase items from a cantina vendor. just some random thoughts here, such as personal dance floors, music, holograms, group dances, emotes, drinks with expertise buffs, and target dummies, costumes... now heres the thing.... since all of this is bought from a separate monetary system, all of this stuff would be rendered inactive outside of any cantina....I know, I know that would suck, but if this system is to be considered by BW it must be that way in order to keep fairness. this would give people so much to do. it would make the fleet so active! and give the end gamers something else to do besides raid... I beg you bioware please consider this!! again, anyone with any constructive criticism, please feel free to post! (forgot to add. the chips could be bought with credits from any cantina vendor. there would be a limit on how much you could purchase of course, so that would in effect encourage gambling.. PLEASE BW, no CM chips purchases!..last thing we need is something else tied to the CM)
  14. my only complaint is that the quest aren't long enough..i love the feeling of chasing someone down:D
