  1. Female Sith Inquisitor talking to an NPC/Q-giver on Tatooine who is babbling about somthing not being his fault. "I dont remember saying "Expendable worm, please tell me about your life"" I laughed so hard the timing and delivery was perfect.... had to play it again
  2. Did you know you could actually get his robes in KOTOR? have to be DS though cant be done LS
  3. Madness then Corruption as Madness was a joke 1. Priority target, due to heal prevention (if healer) and its an easy kill (any spec). Sorcs wont bite back because they cant. 2. Quite honestly we are all glass no cannon. Madness has no survivability and no "real" damage, all damage is done by DoT spamming which is easily removed and your still spamming lightning all the time. Healers have survivability from healing but are still to squishy. My main point however is this. Considering this thread was made 4 months ago and consists of 95% of us saying the same thing! I have still yet to see any yellow posts saying that it is even being looked into? (was started by a yellow post after all) Are you there? Do you even care? Four months without a response to your own thread and only further nerfs to the class, simply tells me you dont.
  4. I would like to see 1) Kel Dor 2) Togruta 3) Selonian Edit: Having looked through whatsallready been voted for..... it looks like im the only one to think of Selonian? I thought they looked cool
  5. I do agree that Revan should be killed off. However as a fan of Revan I personally would like them to bring him back ONCE MORE. Just to redeem the char, the whole foundry thing was a dissapointment to me (the mass genocide thing). So bring him back for one last act of heroisem, somthing that will echo through the galaxy.... and then to tie it all up (cus im a softy) see the force spirits of Bastila and the Exile collect revan. I would also like to see Revan meet Satele...the noetikon of Bastila etc
  6. http://onfinite.com/libraries/1770529/25f.jpg <----------- thats a visual example of hood mask combo Problem is in order to do this i have use light armor instead of Medium. I would of used the Voss mystic social robes as that is adaptive...However for reasons unknown to me they are white for the imperial classes, hence the desire for the "black voss mystic robes"
  7. I just posted this on your other thread, so i have copied and pasted it over (so if it seems off from what was said sorry i just did not want to re-write it again) Actually why not go the other way with madness? You look at the TP thats allready there and you see numerous drain life and absorb it into yourself type skills, It was the reason i originally picked the class. It reminded me alot of my soul stealing warlock from my WoW days. So keep the DoTs and keep death field those do "fit" the spec nicely. Now what you do is give Sorcs a new skill and call it somthing like Devour Soul.. Make it a channled skill same length and damage output as force lightning (un talented). Now remove all talents from madness that involve force lightning and place in new talents that improve "Devour Soul", for example talents could be "absorb a percentage of targets health" and somthing similer "to skill has no CD".... The idea behind this is now this skill becomes madnesses replacement for force lightning... thus giving it more of a uniqueness as opposed to cast DoTs and spam lightning.. draining health should up survivability some more and it keeps its ethos as a life leaching, soul destroying warrior In general Sorcs need some love in terms of survivability and damage anyway... but this could be a step in the right direction... It isnt even that complex of a change could infact make the animation similer to when you absorb ghosts from force walking. Plus its way easier for devs to do somthing like this than re-write two whole specs. Which is what your proposing. They could infact be really lazy and make this skill a re-skin of force lightning and just copy paste the talents over.....just as long as it has some health drain benifit

  9. I would like to see: Revan's KOTOR gear + mask (yes there is a diffrence) Sith warrior gear from the deceved/hope cinimatic (i have a thing for hood + mask combos) Satele's outfit (nuff said on this one) Black voss mystic robes (the one in the battle for illum FP....yes that one) Ghillie suit for snipers (c'mon we all thought this at least once right?)
  10. lol thanks, but it seems madness spec was not my thing. I was still firing lightning 80% of the time, pausing breifly to cast the dots and then back to lightning spam..... I went to healer....now im hardly ever on the lightshow button its now DoT, DoT, slow, shield, shock, DoT, DoT, INSTA HEAL and walk away from the dead mob ^.^
  11. As a DPS: I take out the trash first, then silvers (most are not that troubling), then move onto the golds. By the time get to the gold the tank should have a healthy amount of agro there, which I should not be able to top (especially within the remaining amount of health left). If I take a large hit from somthing, pop damage mitigation and take note of that type of mob for future reference. Anything that hits me that hard I do not want to see it running towards the healer. If it hits me really hard then bug out and only hit that mob with the tank or 2nd DPS (not often this happens though) In some rare cases (rare as in BAD TANK) a gold gets loose. Its the only time i would "solo" a gold, its going for a healer so ill keep it distracted untill (or if) the tank picks it back up and honestly I expect to die here. Golds and Bosses I will hit as hard as I can. As an ANI spec Its reasonable to say I do more damage as time goes on. If I out agro the tank I agro dump and take note, it may of been a fluke. If I repeat it then im either doing to much or the tank is not doing so great with agro control. Either way it means i need to slow down with the damage im doing as id rather the healer heals the tank than myself. As a healer: Honestly I HATE DPS similer to myself. Only due to the fact most of them fail to learn which mobs hit like a brick, which mobs should be a priority, when to bug out/pop damage mitigation. The very ones that try to solo golds all the time, break CC, pull half a room etc etc healers nightmare!.... I let these guys die if they cause to much trouble As i said earlier id rather Healer energy was spent on healing the tank of the group. Sure i know that things happen and the DPS will need healing. But when that need to heal the DPS is brought about by their own recklessness or by bad tanking somthing needs to be said. Most cases if somthing is not said it gets worse and eventually causes a wipe. If you think about it a healer has a good view of everything happening in front of them, DPS only view a fraction (tunnel vision) and tanks should be seeing more but dont allways see everything. I dont mind DPS going all out, I dont mind them making an effort.... after all the aformentiond sins im guilty of. The diffrence between me and them is I know what im doing, i know what my toon can and cant get away with. I also know if somthing backfires its on my own head and either dont try it again or learn what went wrong so I can do it right. As a tank i cant say anything i have only just started rolling tank chars in this game. So you never know, all my opinions may change once i start getting into latter lvls of tanking.
  12. There is really an 18 page thread about this? o.0 Anyway, I roll both genders..... however all my Female toons ended up on Imperial side and my Male toons on the Republic. Not by design just the way it fell. If you ask me in game if im a guy? (when im on fem toon) i will tell you i am. All my guild know I am male and anyone else I spend any large amounts of time with in game also know. Really though it isnt an issue unless you make it one.
  13. My understanding of the Force ghost thing is that Nox can die. Sure the Ghosts kept you alive against Thanaton's force rituals and powers, as explained by Zash the 2 canceled each other out. However at no point is it stated that the force ghosts provide resistance to death by lightsaber (the wraths speciality). So take what we know: The Wrath: has extreme mastery in saber combat and force use in the sense of amplifying/augmenting saber combat (speed, defence, power etc) and the speed record in Force choke multi-kill. To me does seem more tactically minded than the inquisitor, needs to be when going in with sabers tbh. However the wrath is a solo artist, yeah she has her own crew behind her with varied skills. Vette can be used for the back door theving/sneaking stuff, Quinn for added tactical options, Jeasa's special abilities etc etc but beyond that inital group there isnt much there. Nox: Has a much larger power base behind him. A cult which can be used for many things. His own fleet and if I recall there is a super weapon attached to this. A collection of force artifacts and a very indepth mastery over the force. However by himself not that "Impressive". you tend to see the others thinking for him, working out the plans or saying "oh an artifact over here could help". Not to mention those key "advisors" most would kill you given the chance and their scope of thought is somewhat limited to "power, kill, more power, kill kill" So a direct 1v1 Wrath would win hands down. If Nox was given some time to prepare then the advantage would certainly sway to nox. That said the Wrath is not known for giving her targets time to "think" and if said target finds time to get "dug in". She usually finds some method to work around it herself or by using her smaller but more varied group. I dont think Nox would be able to react quick enough to come up with a back up if the original plan fails or when pressured. Especially with the wrath being a step or two ahead at this point. Just my assessment of the situation *I refer to the wrath as Female cus mine is Female **I refer to the inquisitor as male because mine is rolled as a male
  14. Everyone is just thinking in terms of Maras/Jugg and the jedi counter parts. If you just want it for asthetics then the best way (fastest and easiest) to impliment this would be to change the saber stance for Sorcs and Sages. They are Force spam classes with only 2 sabre attacks. Not much tweaking required there, if any (you shouldnt really be using saber as sorc)? Potential lore reason for them to hold it like that? Sabre blade just gets in the way when casting force skills, so they hold it in a reverse grip as they cast alot of them. This also gives them another visual distiction from Jugs as they are also single sabre wielders. Maybe add some defencive buff along with it and make it a TP so Sorcs/Sages arnt as squishy?
  15. Im looking forward to watching the forum with great intrest to see how your story goes. If you do your write ups on a diffrent thread, id be honoured if you could throw me the link (pm or here is fine). Finally and most importantly Good luck, have fun and all the best to you.
