  1. Unless you had billions in guild bank and a czerka crate, then it's just a terrible tragedy.
  2. I appreciate the different perspective, but I already did my check list way before making this thread. Glad you can login but that isn't what the thread is about. Can't wait to have an issue effect you and I come up and say doesn't effect me, winky face. Seriously, probably won't be around if it does, but maybe you're giving me a reason too hang around now, lol.
  3. I feel for the OP, but maybe it's possible that one of the patches caused a glitch. Also, it's possible the GM role was switched during inactivity without OP knowing it so he logged into the wrong character. I wouldn't necessarily trust human memory on this unless they were playing consistently but he already said he wasn't. Really sorry to hear that this happened though, remember that everything can be built back.
  4. The other thread is getting muddled, so I want to see how many people have not been able to play since the last patch. It's been over a week and it's starting to look like the devs are going to gloss over this despite them saying they are still looking into it (we all know what that really means though). Maybe this thread will show them what they're doing is NOT a good look. You would think a issue like this would require a rollback but what's a few to the many, right? All I can say is the quick play issue did not effect me, although I have gave my support to the people effected by it, and that went the way this is currently. My point, it doesn't effect you now but something that will later and you'll be in this situation next. This is the result you can expect. Show some support here too if you can. Anyways, I hate to be one of the those guys but I have every reason to be, I will be cancelling soon enough.
  5. I just want to ask, do people know what you're doing when you run a process as admin? That's not just a user name thing.
  6. If I understand your question correctly, the best healer right now are commandos/mercenaries. Operatives are also good but have a steeper learning curve. Honestly, good luck if you intend to climb the ranks in solo as heals. Currently DPS is king so you're more reliant on your team than ever before.
  7. I will never understand why there does not seem to be any urgency to solve this issue. I know they are working on it but it would be nice to know a patch to fix this is coming soon since I have not been able to log in since the latest patch. It's just like the quick play bug, they expected us to find the workaround for them and carry on like nothing has happened; which by the way I do not think they fixed, correct? I am starting to get worried that this will not get solved as well due to the workaround that doesn't even work for everybody.
  8. Can confirm after clicking PLAY, nothing happens, not using Steam either. Please fix ASAP.

I (sort of) know what you mean. That's why I will always feel that a change to the scoring system in rank is needed, making it medal based which puts more control into the players and NOT match making. I made multiple threads about it. If the people on top are all dps I can definitely see it being legit. A top 3 DPS player is more than capable to carry a bad team mate or two. Tanks might have a harder time but more than capable. Healers it is impossible to climb legit by randomly queuing in current state. If all things are equal though then yeah it is quite suspect. Having to deal with a low population, random team members, a faulty match making system, punishing losses when in higher tiers (losing +25 points), and class/role unbalance, one has to wonder how the top 3 are so lucky. However role, skill, luck, and playing smarter not harder (that is avoiding certain players good or bad) will help mitigate some issues allowing them to reach top 3 legit.
  10. Child it wasn't the die hards coming in here saying that. Just because we post here doesn't mean we are die hard pvpers. Only people that wanted vote kick removed were the casuals who felt that it was abused by the die hards and they were the ones praising it. No one asked for deserter debuff for regs either, it just happened in the name of combating toxicity. I can only think of two people who actively praise desserter debuff, rest hates it or indifferent (at least until map selection). My point was to correct op that the changes weren't made for the "die hards." It sort of feels the opposite in my opinion. But if we really want to argue this, then we need to define die hards I suppose since your definition is obviously different from mine.
  11. I hate seeing anyone go, but hopefully you gave it a good look before running off. You may find it's not as bad as it seems. Also, these changes were NOT done for the die hard pvp'ers. Quite the opposite considering the die hards hated vote kick removal and just about no one was asking for a deserter debuff for regs. Honestly I do not know who the changes are for but the why of it was to combat toxicity in pvp. Your mileage on success may vary on that.
  12. "Players can no longer avoid exhaustion zones." Huh? Does that mean instant drop or something?
  13. I'm glad they are doing something and I thank them for their time however most of the changes are bug fixes (which they should be fixing without request) and most others no one was asking for like the deserter debuff for regs. The two most TALKED about request on the list being gear requirement and vote kick removal were split in my opinion, neither of those effect me in anyway what so ever though. The only thing I am requesting is a change to solo rank scoring, made multiple threads about it. The most simple request I can ask for is keep the deserter debuff changes for rank but remove it for regs entirely. Regs should stay casual and loose.
  14. How is it wasting your time if it's not directed at you? Simply ignore them and move on, right? Problem is, the people that are like you are the people that come here screaming bloody murder that chat is nothing but misogyny, racism and spam. For the most part, racism & abuse is all but gone THANKFULLY since devs started caring again. So I rather not put any wrong impression in the dev's head because the needle will always be moved too far in one direction. If they listen to the people who treat ignore like a Amazon wish list soon enough we will probably have to solve a captcha every time you want to speak in chat then have a moderator approval afterwards. Legacy ignore is a good step forward and swift punishment for actual abuse, harassment, and racism is really all that is needed. I am not saying chat is clean but it is definitely easy to gloss over.
