If you're looking for an active, family-friendly large guild that does large yield conquest weekly but still allows you to play as you want, check out RemnantsOfHope.com We are a 12-year-old guild community that spans 6 MMOs (New World, Final Fantasy XIV, SWTOR, WoW, GW2, and ESO) with SWTOR as our largest guild. We welcome mature people (13+ but mostly adults) from all walks of life. Most members are active evenings and weekends East Coast US time, but we have members from all over the world. We offer daily events, including story and vet mode Ops, flashpoints, datacron and world boss hunts, PvP, optional but active Republic and Imperial RP, leveling, crafting, and more. The larger gaming community delivers stability and a democratic structure few guilds can rival. The community holds Division and Community elections every six months, keeping leadership fresh and avoiding burnout. A detailed Charter enables good governance and financial stability for an organization designed for the long term. A strict but fair disciplinary system ensures that any toxic behavior is addressed quickly and confidentially. This guild structure allows a safe but not sterile space for players of all backgrounds. Many of our leaders and members are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and we have players in every generation from Zoomer to Boomer. Our commitment to antiracism, diversity, and inclusion is built into our foundation and implemented through all our policies, including accommodations as appropriate. The larger gaming community also provides many opportunities outside SWTOR. Our Discord and forums are constantly active, and the community meets as a whole once a month. We have a range of community activities, including karaoke, multi-game fashion and other shows, and casual games. If you're interested, please fill out a brief application to let us get to know you better. If you have questions, message me here, or contact our recruitment officer (walex) on the Remnants of Hope forum. We try to reply within 24 hours. Welcome to your new guild family! 2. I joined RoH as a new member this year when I was in a really social slump! The application and trial membership definitely made me curious, but I am very happy to know that RoH completed an important analysis of my fit with everyone else as a member, just as I was figuring out if RoH is a a good fit for me! I was blown away with the level of organization (as the divisions cover many players across many games)! I feel very much at home whenever I log in to the Discord or the game and I appreciate everyone's patience as I try to catch up on SWTOR after an 8 year hiatus! I can confirm there are activities for new players as well as groups for seasoned well-geared veteran players. I am so thankful that I saw Swtorista 's plug about the guild on a Twitter post!
  3. As has been stated the option of dealing with Harkun comes up when
  4. Yep. I have the chest pieces for both the Robe of Animus Force (which comes from The Colicoid War Game FP) and the Robe of the Insight (which comes from Athis FP) so I can confirm that they are both orange moddable, light armor. The biggest problem with them for me was that the chest pieces drop from chests the end boss, respectively but the lower robes for both sets are random drops from non-boss enemies in the Flashpoint Area. Therefore, I found it hard to have a matching look since I didn't want to farm the flashpoints at level. I think several synthweaving robes also have this look, but I can't confirm since I don't know any synthweavers .
  5. Yep, basically our armor came in about 5 flavors: 1. The Robe of the Insight/Robe of Animus Force (Broad Shoulder Pads + Hood) 2. The Darth Jadus/Stalker Robe Look 3. The Exemplar/Grand Inquisitor/Revan's robes with the puffy shoulders and mesh texture. 4. The Saber Marshal's/Supreme Inquisitor Robes 5. PvP/PvE endgame So yeah, I think we do throw a bit of aesthetics in there since we have to see our character repeatedly in cutscenes. I experimented with about 3 of these looks and settled on one I liked, then just upgraded the mods.
  6. Someone linked this graph in another post: http://www.jedilace.com/2012/02/01/when-is-too-much-surge-bad-for-digestion/ Basically with the new formula, the asymptote for the absolute (but unattainable) max surge is now set at 80% rather than 100%.
  7. And are those just the Rakata lower robes? It's a nice look! Revan-esque.
  8. /signed I doubt that will get fixed any time soon. But I'm really hoping. Too many people wearing clothes on the Fury...
  9. Perhaps you could find a lower level moddable one from a commendation vendor (look through all of them on the fleet) and then put in a blue/purple level 50 crystal, mod, hilt, and enhancement? I know Boarding Party has one that drops off the final boss (and runs of that soloable in about 12 minutes when you are level 50 (if you use your speeder to run past the non-boss mobs). This lists all the flashpoint loot for Assassins. If there's nothing cheap on the AH and you don't have the commendations to buy a temporary moddable saber, I think soloing a low level flashpoint would be the best bet: http://www.tor-loot.com/Loot/Class/Assassin
  10. It looks like we have similar taste. Is that the Robe of Animus Force you're wearing (or the Colicoid Sorcerer's Robe? I figure it came from The Colicoid War game)? I had a hard time finding a moddable lower robe to match it. Ended up going with the Force Invoker's robe from the Taris equipment commendation. I'm hoping I'll be able to rip out Champion/Battlemaster Mods and go back to that look some day.
  11. I agree that you should keep him like that if only for bragging rights! I salute you and tip my hat for your achievement, good sir. I can't imagine how painful some things would be. Even supplementing Warzone and Space XP to the planetary and class quests. What was your Warzone experience like with this guy? I imagine he still had to compete against champion and battlemaster geared 50s when he was low level (before the divide)? What kind of rewards did you see for your class missions? I know that the missions themselves aren't affected by and advanced class (only base classes), but I seem to remember rewards being tailored specifically for an advanced class. You are a LEGEND! Toasting in legendary thread! Edit: You have completed Hardcore mode, the rest of us are f***ing casuals.
  12. I actually saw the "redemption and passing on of the spirits through the Light Side" ending on my buddy's character. I had no idea that was an option, and obviously requires you to be Light Side oriented. I agree it looked pretty kick ***. Perhaps you'll be vulnerable, but perhaps you are strengthened by your light side. Was there something equivalent to the purple eye glow after re-binding the ghosts at the end of that cutscene that would indicate that you are still powerful?

    Patch 1.1.2

Like I said, I'm fine with the system. I have half of my champion gear, and I'm ecstatic that valor/kills got fixed on Ilum. No complaints from me. Things could be made a lot more difficult I was just trying to see the perspective of the people who were complaining.

    Patch 1.1.2

I have come to the light and I see that the new system is definitely better overall. I can definitely see how in the long run, it will really be easier to complete a set of Champion gear (when replicas were common) and since you couldn't use champion items to buy gear for companions that was meant for other classes. I think the main people that feel disappointed by this change are the people who had only a few pieces of champion gear (0-4) but had maybe gotten shafted by the RNG for their first few weeks of being 50. Say you were 1 for 15 or 2 for 25 in your previous bags. Now you're told that the chance of a full item are now reduced. Yes, you'll get champion gear progressively rather than randomly, but the grind starts now. Sort of like being downsized after being loyal to the company and then being told that "This is an opportunity to start a new career! Aren't you excited?" Probably has to do with our gambling philosophy that "if we were on a low luck streak, it was bound to turn around and we were probably about to hit a hot streak of 5 for 10 if only it hadn't been changed in that patch!" Not completely logical, but when facing the idea of getting splattered by champion and battlemaster gear for another two weeks just to earn a single piece of gear. I can definitely see that feeling disheartening/daunting. Edit: The willpower/endurance/crit/surge of the centurion gear was a fair bit worse than my level 50 modded orange gear. Improving expertise was the only benefit that most pieces offered, so I only really found the centurion implants and the belt/bracers worth purchasing.
