  1. I was explaining to you and all of the other people that have problems with reading comprehension exactly what I was trying to say. Just because you realize that I was right and that you either didn't read, didn't read correctly, or responded to another post without checking to see if they have responded correctly or not isn't a reason to try and jump on me again. Stop looking to be offended.
  2. You people are ridiculous. I felt that it was racist OR prejudiced because of the OP because the OP didn't mention what it was about, just that some demographic (which can be race, or not) was excluded and some demographic was favored. For the love of God, read a little before you respond to something. I didn't say it's only racist, I didn't say casual is a race, I didn't say anything other than "racist OR prejudiced." Here, this may help, care of Merriam Webster's dictionary: OR (conjunction): 1: —used as a function word to indicate an alternative <coffee or tea> <sink or swim>, the equivalent or substitutive character of two words or phrases <lessen or abate>, or approximation or uncertainty <in five or six days> 2: archaic : either 3: archaic : whether 4: —used in logic as a sentential connective that forms a complex sentence which is true when at least one of its constituent sentences is true — compare disjunction The emphasis is mine. The word "or" means one or the other. It doesn't mean both. That would be the word "and." So by saying "that is x OR y," I'm saying that it is either x or y, but not both. When I said "that's racist or prejudiced," the word "or" means that I meant the thread in question was EITHER racist OR prejudiced. Get it yet? Can we stop the grammar lesson? Can we all read a response next time, before replying with something really stupid? Or shall we continue trying to find a way to be offended?
  3. 1. The very idea of that topic sounds incredibly racist or prejudiced. Don't pretend it was innocent. 2. Don't want threads being moderated? Don't break the forum rules when posting.
  4. I know what ad hominem is, but it doesn't apply here. I'm not saying your side of the argument is wrong because you can't comprehend English and context. I'm saying that you're misunderstanding what the other poster is saying because of some fundamental failure in comprehending context and that I can't explain it to you because if you screwed up context this bad already, nothing short of a 2nd grade English teacher is going to fix you. P.S. You, on the other hand, are attacking the other person in an attempt to discredit their side of the discussion, which is textbook ad hominem. See the difference? I'm not saying that you're wrong because you're dumb....I'm just saying that you're dumb. You are saying that the other person is wrong because of their background. Textbook ad hominem. Edit: @ the cost of the game....next time you link something, try linking the relevant information. I don't want to have to explain why you're incapable of linking things either. Anyway, I did find elsewhere on that wiki page that they estimate $200 million for the development cost. Okay, instead of stringing people along for twenty months, they'd have to do it for fourteen. Big difference.
  5. If you can't comprehend the English language, then there's no use explaining to you how you're wrong.
  6. Also, this is probably the stupidest thing I've ever heard on the forums, ever. Even if the maximum estimates are true and they have 1 million players, at $15/month that's only 15 million dollars. The cost of making the game was $300 million. Assuming everyone pays the highest subscription fee, monthly, and assuming that your stupid conspiracy theory is correct, they would have to string 1,000,000 people along for TWENTY MONTHS to even make back that money and start turning a profit. Realistically, you would need to also take into account the ebb and flow of subscribers, operating costs, cheaper subscription fees, etc. There's no way a game can lie to players for two years like that. This conspiracy theory is one of the stupidest things that people actually believe. BW doesn't need to pat you on the head and kiss your cheek every day just so you don't forget they're there. Your parents may have taught you to throw a temper tantrum every time they don't immediately give you what you want, but in the real world that's not acceptable behavior.
  7. Time to work on that comprehension. She meant that she used to work in support for 20 years and now she's advanced to upper management.
  8. Random drop is random? I don't understand, is the complaint that the OP wants guaranteed random loot?
  9. The employees manning the Blizzard customer service lines are not GMs. Even though your gripe is pretty petty, it does have some legitimacy IF it was true....but now you're just being prejudice. Racism and/or prejudice isn't really a good thing to be flaunting.
  10. It's not unprofessional. If anything, you're overly sensitive....but more likely you're just looking for something to get offended about, even the tiniest thing. Blizzard CS does it all the time. They don't give out personal information, but they do reveal information about account action like that. Is there anything else you would like to assume, imagine, make up, or otherwise do to make a fool of yourself?
  11. I called Customer Support and they gave me a unicorn. A real, live unicorn. That's essentially what you said. Unless you can back it up with proof, it's a lie.
  12. I think I missed the part where it's not okay to rip on people complaining about the game, but it's perfectly fine to rip on people defending it.
  13. 1) Yep, although as gamers we should want all MMOs to challenge WoW. The harder it is for the industry leader, the harder they'll try to do better. 2) Glaring issues like a vocal minority of obnoxious trolls >.>
  14. I am highly amused.... In your excitement to be a fanboi, you've completely missed a long-winded post of pure sarcasm.
