  1. Meh, Operative got a slight nerf but inevitably made them stronger, because it made them realize they didn't need to get Jarring Strike and the double stun combo is actually more effective. But on topic, who knows. The article didn't specify but I hope it means that the tracer missile armor debuff doesn't stack. Beyond that, I do not see what they could reasonably nerf, at least on the Mercenary side of things (the only side I have experience with). Thereafter, let's hope it's not a blind nerf, if Pyrotech, that underpowers Mercs as a result of some sort of powertech issue.
  2. I got a reply to a ticket regarding that basically saying there is no way to change that and they don't intend to do anything about it. "Live with it", basically.
  3. Threats of mass exodus are not the ones I made. But if you think they aren't twisting numbers in their favour, you are a bit delluded. Numbers of players active during prime time and throughout on the server I play on have dwindled. My guild had as many as 20-30 players active throughout the day and now we're lucky to get above 2 active, even during prime time. A majority of those players in my guild have cancelled their subs and do not play anymore. Some of those cancelled subscriptions may have some active play time left but that does not change the end result. These are subscriptions lost and it has already taken it's toll, otherwise our server or our guild would not be in the desolate state it is in. So you can wear your rose-coloured glasses and prance around in the fields of beautiful flowers, fluffy bunnies and kittens. It's your opinon or delusion but the real numbers, not marketing jargon, will be evident in due time. That said, mine is one of those subscriptions that have been cancelled.
  4. This is going to be a big pretty fail. If they don't get this patch out before the next sub cycle, they will likely permanently lose those subscriptions. It's a ridiculous notion that there is some sort of incentive to keep these players renewing just because the patch got pushed forward. Quite the contrary. And it's a domino effect; less players around, more people get disgruntled because it proves more difficult to get some daily activities done. Less of an immersive world, etc. But wait... "It's on our list".
  5. lol.... The stream can be summed up by one phrase: "It's on our list"
  6. How is it broken? As pyro I can kill any Arsenal specced BH. It's spammy because the noise and animation is "visible". The only thing that would need nerfing is the armor debuff stacking. Aside from that, tracer missile really isn't all that powerful, especially inside PvP.
  7. Wow, they really have no idea what they are doing.
  8. Yes. But from what I have seen in personal experience, it's per-target, not per-cast proc chance. So, it's relatively useless given the rather unreliable proc rate. You're better off weaving in some rapid shots.
  9. Item Modifications - Enhancements: Are there any plans to give greater choice/variety in terms of Enchancements? Background: As it is right now, the devs chose to frontload most enhancements with accuracy, which is a nearly useless stat. The other alternative seems to be crit/surge or power/surge, with surge ALWAYS being the dominant stat. Given the nerf, it is also another dislike stat after a certain point. So being the dominant stat is even worse. Will we ever see something like crit/power or something with surge NOT being the dominant stat when combined with crit or power?
  10. Has to be one of the worst posts I've seen in awhile.
  11. They drop from Operations (Hard Mode and Nightmare). CyberTech crafters could only WISH they had useful recipes like that.
  12. Because they don't have a clue what they are doing? They already stated that they didn't expect PvP to be so popular - which leads one to believe that they didn't really care nor put much forethought into talents/abilities/items that could potentially be used in PvP combat scenario. That said, CyberTech is a relative mess at this point and grenades were mediocre before the nerf to the damage. Now they are useless, sans the once every 5 minute earthquake which gets nullified by damage flying from every corner anyway.
  13. CyberTech sucks. Do yourself a favour and go biochem. Even nerfed, Biochem is infinitely more useful than CyberTech. Only reason I'm keeping it for now is to gear out my alts and guildies alts since i have almost all the REs. But in the endgame, it's worthless. Grenades were mediocre at best before the nerf given the 5 minute cooldown and now they are just a joke. Not to mention the crafted speeders are a laugh. Not much cheaper in terms of materials to cost ratio and they look like ****.
  14. Space Combat Lasers - while I can appreciate the bug surrounding this does not affect the majority of the player base, there are those of us in the vocal minority who have been asking for answers or results. As it stands, it has existed since day one of early access and even prior. Is there any resolution in sight for this or are we going to continue to be ignored in favour of things like NPC name changes? Bug details ----------- Cyclical damage phases (eg: 30 seconds the laser do damage, 30 seconds they do not. Missiles and proton torpedos do damage at any time, however.)
