  1. i LOVED the epic music when going through the droid functions! CLASSIC!
  2. Actually...you DO score for killing-------> Medals. Bioware, your recent changes have only bred the same kind of lazy play we saw in Ilum when we traded objectives, which is now "get your 4 medals, then wait it out". I've been pushing for level 60 Valor for the last three days now, and seen nothing but this attitude bled out more and more as the games have gone on. So much so that I've now adopted it, becuase what else is my motivation for winning a WZ once I've finished my daily/weekly? Also, the amount of Sage's that can overlap heals have made some WZ's unplayable as an empire. Is there any way to maybe limit somethign that gives a team that YOUR engine has generated of a bunch of Asassins and Operatives and actual chance against a team of 4 sages and 4 commandos with thier heals/stunlocks/grav round spam BS? As an aside, Your Grav spam troopers seem to be getting a bit of a nerf FINALLY, but alas, I fear the damage has been done already, and it would take one or two of you about 3 WZ plays with your 50 to understand that wading through the stunlocks and the repeated spamming of AoE's to try and get your 4 medals is just not working. Please rethink.
  3. Go subscribe to City of Heroes...they do it QUITE well...
  4. Well, I just dumped all my creds on some dude in-game. He was pretty surprised i think, but he was also happy to get about 800k free credits for no reason. Anyways...to BioWare: I REALLY wanted to love your game. I bought the collectors edition, played the crap out of this thing in beta, and bought into the idea of this thing from the beginning. To be honest, I probably would have bought a lifetime sub at the time, but now, after almost three months, I'll be letting my sub lapse, and saying farewell. Things you got right: The story, the voice acting, the sounds and feel of the universe, the hiss of the lightsaber, the story, the variety of character choices, and the story. Things you missed on: The execution of your PvP, the imbalance issues with Imperial at first, and then the crap where the republics could actually CHEAT in a warzone. This probably could have been fixed a lot faster, but wasn;t, in what I can only logically believe was an attempt to "re-balance" a bit with a message like "We're working on it" The community put a call to action for you to call up some of the old DAoC guys to help, and you decided to not bother, all the while stating (in one of your videos no less) that PvP was going to be a focus and woudl be one of the best experiences in MMO history. Other misses: Huttball. Really? A TEAM sport where STRANGERS gather to win by scoring a goal? It de-evolved into a slugfest almost 90% of the time, and also, nice stuns!!! Stinkers: Boss resets after they kill the team, having a level 40 strong mob able to take out a level 45 character with ease. Illum...the whole thing! Having to go back to all my friends who left a long time ago after defending you guys and touting that things would improve, and now eating crow and listening to the jesting and "I told you so" after finally realizing that they WERE right, and this game just wasn't what it could have been. No, I don;t go back to play WoW...I played it for about a month and quit, for the same reasons I'm quitting now no less. To those who read this, please pass it on to the ones that it will matter to as inout on how you can improve, and I'll bet I'm not the first. I won't even begin to acknowledge the trolls already formulating replies to this with some "witty" remarks or "scathing" words that only anonimity can arouse, but rather implore and hope the right people will read this and pass the word along. Be well Star Wars universe...and may you improve with age like a fine wine, but I won;t be around to taste it I'm afraid. Respectfully, JSP
  5. I'm an Imperial player and I approve of this message.
  6. This is probably the best answer any player could respond with right now, rather than spouting off. Good for you mate!
  7. A lot of these posts are the same 50-60 people just reposting don't forget. I've gone through a couple threads now looking for some kind of strategy to how the new system works, and I've seen quite a few "copy, paste" posts from people they have posted in other threads. With all due respect, I believe you and your friend will return once they've balanced it out correctly. It will just take some time, but until then, it's too bad you have to go. You sure you couldn;t roll another alt and experience the other storylines? Also, the daily repeatables offer the same potential to get the high end loot as well...
  8. Probably not a good bar to hold the rest of the players to I think. Everyone's playtime is different after all.
  9. We'll see I suppose. I think 100% of these people will actually be back if they did indeed quit to begin with, once the issues have been fixed that is. I'm just tired of coming here and reading peoples "I'm going to quit!" or "This game is FAIL!". Throwing around terms like that isn't going to get anywhere, and just labels them as crybabies. I'm all for posting constructive criticism in a mature manner, but I'm not for wild statements like the above "Your subs are dropping! DO SOMETHING! NOW!" -esque blathering.
  10. Actually..there's no real proof to support that anyone has left or not, aside from the ranting on the forums, which is still just a lot of "make changes or I'm leaving" really. In fact, on my server, a non PvP server, the zone is just fine! Maybe transfer over when they allow server transfers? Why not roll an alt until they have addressed the problem (which I'm sure they will soon).
  11. I'd like to see a daily PVP station on each planet, so I don;t have to go back up to the fleet to get my daily warzone missions and then come back down to Illum to complete them. I find it a bit of a timesink to have to go back up to the fleet every day just to come back down.
  12. Well, then there's nothing you can do about it. You make it quite clear that Bioware isn;t listening to you anyways, so why post about it now? You can either wait for the changes, or stop whining about a video game and do something productive instead.
  13. Too bad. We could have used you on the Empire side. .. ... . ... Oh well.
  14. Good post. I wish more ppl were like you.
