This thread would be better if it didnt track story modes. Those are pretty much pugged and not worth tracking. Just keep it simple with HM/NiM progress.

I warned everyone last time and I'll re-warn the new people this time. The Ebon Hawk and SWTOR in general does not have the type of economy to support this type of thing like other mmos. The only way to make it work is to run it like a ponzi scheme which is how it was ran last time and people got ripped off. Take it from someone who has made close to 300 million in this game, this type of thing is not sustainable with the current swtor economy. Don't get ripped off folks.

I think anyone that wants to get taken seriously and join a guild with high end PvP needs to put in time on the toon they want to be considered on. If you have 6 alts in various levels of gear and valor ranks its going to be very hard for you to get taken seriously regardless of your skill. When you're a complete stranger approaching a top PvP guild you'll be perceived as a certain type of player based on a number of factors. That starts with having the best gear that available to you and properly augment BIS. Why? Because PvP is not all about skill, sometimes raw power is needed. Having a gear advantage is the easiest way to achieve a imbalance. Exploiting imbalances wins games. Then once you cross that first hurdle you need valor. Valor is important because it shows you have spent time grinding on that character in warzones and have a good idea what to do with your class in all sorts of sticky situations. If you are not at least 85+ by this time on at least one character you will have a hard time getting noticed by pvp guilds because of the fear you will get exploited for your unfamiliarity on that class/spec. By the time you've accomplished these 2 things you will find yourself getting invited to groups and know other pvpers around.
