  2. agreed. Putting a cost on swapping mods is ridiculous and a deterrent from trying builds, using new gear, checking which stats benefit the most , etc. I will NOT pay hundreds of thousands of credits to CHECK this stuff out. I dont have millions of credits to spend on nothing. So instead, i'll just stick to what i THINK works without any true facts to back it up because I cant even afford to swap mods regularly. Just another STUPID aspect of this game that keeps it a second tier game.
  3. ranked pug group matches is flat ridiculous. and hell no. If you want ranked wz rewards then you have to do it as a team, at minimum 2v2. quit being basement dwellers hiding in the dark afraid of having to get on a microphone and possibly speak words in order to communicate and win a team based objective.. The Best In Slot gear needs to be rewarded for group play, i.e hard mode flashpoints and ranked ops wz's. not single player.
  4. If snipers had a permanent slow mechanic they would have to give up dps to get it because they would instantly be OP in pvp. The hardest hitting AC with abilities to perma slow and not be charged/pulled . its too much.
  5. I have a body type 1 lvl 10 inquisitor and I am trying to decide what AC would best fit that small body type for pvp. Would it be more beneficial to be a body type 1 sin that could cause some difficulties targeting amoungst other players(especially fattys) OR would it be a greater advantage to roll sorc and stay at ranged healing, throwing dps as a small body. I say this because I feel that larger body types get more attention, especially on certain AC's . I will have both a sorc and a sin characters so its not about what i want to play more, its about what would be more beneficial to a body type 1 for pvp.
  6. ok then nerf their damage output by 25% then. snipers are the hardest hitting class BY FAR. and if given any amount of uptime kill anyone. PLUS they cannot be charged in cover so deal with it or take a damage nerf in trade.
  7. cybertech is a unique breed of crafting skill in that it makes the modifications that go into the orange items, which at this point is what everyone is going after. Mods and armoring have the HIGHEST turnover in useage bar none which means that the crafters need to have an easier job making and getting these to the playerbase for use.
  8. Materials for mods, armoring, enhancements, and such need to be lowered because compared to an armsmech who can actually CREATE AN ENTIRE ARTIFACT WEAPON with 2 metals, I'm stuck having to use 6 metals to make the same comparable item in item level. This needs to be balanced out,.
  9. Hello, I felt like writing this because I am severely disappointed with how high the material requirement is for cybertech items. Currently at lvl 44 it takes an artifact metal x 4 to make 1 armoring. One could spend upwards of 20k (on average) just to send companions out on missions to get that metal. It's also artifact quality which means it has a very low drop rate from missions. AND RNG SUCKS!! as an example I have spent well over 30k on missions only to have x2 artifact metals returned. So approx 25k to FARM the materials needed to make 1 armoring or mod item. ONE!!! Now i'm not asking for free **** but this is just too severe and it is a detterence from trying to gear up your character , at any specific time along the leveling process. Why do I care so much about gear at lvl 44 you ask? Because on my server there are so few people I have been unable to run a flashpoint for 10 levels. Questing solo to level up is extremely time consuming which can only be cut short with better gearing. I was planning to gear out my character with all UPDATED LEVEL mods and armoring, not TOO much to ask right? I mean its the SMART move to increase your characters gear to increase your abilities potential. But at this rate I'll spend over 300k to do it. I take that number based on how much it has cost me so far to farm TWO arftifact metals when to completely gear out my character I would need 72 artifact metals. BLATANTLY UNREALISTIC AND CERTAINLY NOT FUN!!
  10. for ALL pvp 1-49 as a merc you should be arsenal or healing. pyro is just weak compared to arsenal for a merc dps pre lvl 50. Personally, i do great on my arsenal merc in the under 50 bracket. 95% of the time I am top dmg because if given the opportunity, arsenal can smash ppl. but its not a faceroll class anymore, you now have to turret AND kite if you want to do well. ANd that is arsenals bane....kiting. thats what asenal gives up for major ranged damage potential. long story short I hate pryo on my merc , but its the ONLY way to go on my powertech.

  12. even thought its the same tree , powertechs have DIFFERENT abilities than mercs . Mercs cannot fight in melee range, and thats where powertechs shine. Because of those different abilities.

  14. OP why do you post in orange text like you work for bioware or something? get ur nose out of the moderaters butt and breathe. There are so many things wrong with this game and players, who pay a monthly service fee, DESERVE to have their complaints heard and addressed. got a problem with that? then move to china
  15. paper beats rock, rock beats scissors. really nothing new in mmo and a good way to balance the pvp aspect. this is new to you?
