  1. I feel I don't have to explain myself as to why I would be using a VPN. However, the message is clear (although a kingsize green font type makes it annoying to read), either a security key or I'll keep having those e-mails with one time passwords.
  2. I'm using a VPN. And yes, obviously I can delete those e-mails but my point is I don't want to go through the process of awaiting an e-mail (about 1 to 2 minutes) after attempting to log in, every single time. Whether I'm hopping between IPs is my concern (at least IMO), I just want SWTOR not to be such a PITA regarding this, I can take care of my own account security
  3. My public IP changes regularly, this is intentional and will not be changed. Is it possible to disable the option of having to wait for an e-mail and copy/paste the 'one-time' (of which I have about 500 in my Inbox by now) key requirement every time my IP changes?
  4. Yes, EU still down. Maintenance was scheduled until 1600GMT, then delayed to 1700GMT. It's 1725GMT right now and EU's still not up. What/when/why?
  5. All, FYI, they did honor it in my case. As of today 0659h GMT I have an additional 30 days added to my subscription.
  6. OK, but obviously they need to be subbed before/on 20th of March. So if you're correct than you'll benefit from the additional free month if you sub between 13 MAR 17 (when the email was sent) and 20 MAR 17, and if you haven't played KotET before.
  7. This is exactly what I'd like to see answered. To clarify 13MAR17: e-mail with the header "Rule the galaxy with a FREE month of premium access!" I quote:
  8. All, I received an e-mail a while back notifying me of the 30 day free subscription promotion if I would re-subscribe before 20MAR17. I subbed 18MAR17 (using monthly subscription) so technically I'd say I get the additional 30 days for free on top of the 30 days (+7 due to a referral) that I got from subbing on the 18th. However, in the remarks of the promotion e-mail it says that you must not have "accessed" KotET before. I did finish the entire KotFE storyline on one of my toons and therefore the KotET is now available in my quest log, but as far as I'm aware I didn't start any KotET quest yet. What is meant by 'not having accessed KotET' before? The fact it shows up in my quest log, does that qualify as 'accessing' it?
  9. That's what others have told me as well, but why haven't I encountered the story elements and NPCs yet that the YT clips of FA Part I show? For instance that small guy in his (dark) red what-looks-to-be-leather jacket? EDIT Alright, whatever, I'll just go on.. Will get to do it all again anyway on my Shadow.
  10. I have taken a few glimpses of YT clips of FA Part I and I can now confirm I have not played any of it. Like I mentioned earlier, I did do the Korriban Incursion FP once and I think the Tython one too, but I've seen nothing of what I've seen in the YT clips. I guess I have to report a bug and ask for a quest reset.
  11. I never bought the Revan expansion, no. But I am a sub right now. I tried removing the quests and pick them from the droid on fleet but still, gives me Part II only. Same for the ship terminal, doesn't give part I. I am not aware of anything else I did in the past, I've never played with the Revan expansion already released up until now so not sure what I could've done in the past that makes me skip part I right now.
  12. It's been quite some time (1+ year I guess) since I've SWTOR so I'm not sure what happened and what changed. What I do know is that I just completed the story line quests on Makeb and wanted to continue to the Revan story line. However, I get two quests from the terminal on my ship: FA Part II and Prelude. The latter which instructs me to go and do FA Part II. But where is Part I? Some people say it has something to do with the Assault on Tython FP. Can't really remember if I ever did that one.. 13. Any chance of a reference which quantifies 'most' and 'least'? Thanks!
  14. Hi guys, Either I'm using a weird phrasing when Googling or it just isn't discussed (a lot). My question: does each armour part bring an equal share of armour rating to the table? E.g. if I equip a belt and a chest piece with the same armour mod, do they both add the same amount of armour rating to my character? My own logic would say physically smaller parts like belts, wrist protection, gloves and boots contribute a smaller share of armour rating than legs, chest pieces, and helmets. Reason I ask is when I have an armour mod of a rating of 100 and of 80, should I put the 100 one in the chest piece and the 80 in the belt, or does that not matter at all?
