awesome post! Could not agree more, some people expect it to be perfect and faultless straight away... This is an experience, and we've been invited to join it while they continue to develop the game. I love playing, and every bug I come accross makes me remember how new it is - even though it feels like I've been playing for ages - and makes me appreciate the incredibly talented people that have brought it as far as it has come. Without the game devs I'd still be playing wow... killing deathwing... over and over... and waiting for pandas... Having a little patience is all we need at this point. This game is only going to get better

I love this! I miss that feeling of discovery and complete ignorance... Once you've been playing computer games for a while you lose that feeling and it's very hard to find it again... Enjoy it while you can!!

You can have a pink lightsaber right now technically "magenta" but it's very very pink, I'll be swinging mine around. My fiance and I both play swtor so we'll be there as normal... He makes everyday special for me, but he's a bit of a romantic so there will probably be flowers and chocolates on my desk when I get home from work. From some of the comments, yeah you focus on this day so much more when you're single, but the last thing you should do is let it get you down. absolutely save for those champion bags. even if you don't get a piece from them you get your other tokens that you save up. On my first 50 had enough tokens for 4 bags and got 2 pieces, it's a very nice boost if you're lucky

The reward isn't worth the effort??? Kill Stark > get Nadia How is this not worth it? lol He's only difficult if you put no thought into the fight. He heals - save your interrupt for that. He does a channeling damage ability - los him. If you're a dps class use theran for the heals and the interrups if you're a heals use a tank and if you're a tank once again use theran... easy as pie lovelies not worth it... you're a funny fella you are

I have a lv50 shadow and a very soon to be 50 sage. Shadow was easy after I got Theran as I was Kinetic (tank) specc'd With the sage I used Zenith and then Nadia and went Seer (heals) for survivability I think I've enjoyed playing the sage more as range appeals to me more than melee whatever you choose, if you enjoy playing the character you'll find it as easy as pie

He probably has more surge then you. Crit increases the chance of a crit but SURGE increases the ammount of that crit

settings > enable auto loot > enable area loot Don't buy any gear - it will come to you! Save those credits Look at what crew skills go together to minimise buying materials Learn how to use your companion properly When you go to a new area kill things to discover bonus quests Sometimes you may skip normal quests but NEVER skip class quests - if you're having trouble ask for help, don't give up on them Ask for help - it's a new game and EVERYONE is still learning - there will always be someone willing to help out

It is dominated by male players but saying that there are still plenty of women out there. Plenty on my server Don't worry too much about it, it's a hazzard of playing online games that most of your online friends will be male. Generally they are either: young and silly, suspect, or mature and focussed on game progression lol Saying that some of the other women I've played with fall into the same catagories, it's only that the game is so populated by boys that we notice them more.

awesome pvp healer... so good you find yourself doing almost as much damage as heals..... lol standing in the melee is also confusing as most players expect the healer to stand away. Once you get your aoe heal at 40 you're pretty disgusting in pvp. shield everyone when you can and dot up the opposition. Not boring at all if you can do more than focus on healing

If you're really keen on getting to light side V early do Diplomacy as a crew skill. I had it by lv 30ish

I levelled a Shadow first and went tank with Theran healing. Loved watching the Sages with their abilities though so I'm levelling one now with Qyzen but will use Nadia for sure when I can. Unsure of whether I'll go pure Sage or Telekinetics and use heals as a fill in... Having a blast so far <3 Disturbance ---- whooooomph, whooooooomph lol

Take a buddy with you. I did it with Nadia and my commando medic friend and his dps companion. It's a nasty fight so interrupts are essential but focus on the healing ones. Hope you get him!! I was so upset when I found out who the first son was
