  1. I see. Thanks for the reply. The problem is some of them are on EU server... Guess I'm not getting yavin there. I hope bioware will change how that works at some point.
  2. I have characters on 3 servers. After buying Yavin SH on one of them with CC it only got unlocked on that server for me, and not on others. Does anyone know if it'll cost me 2500CC again on another server to get it, or will it be free if i press the "puchase" button? I know the UI for puchasing doesn't change when you want to activate a SH after deactivation, so I'm assuming that it should be free to activate it on another server once i puchased it with CC, but I'm afraid to try it without confirmation.
  3. Would be nice to see "purchase" button change to "reactivate" after deactivation, because this is very confusing. Here's my situation: I bought yaving stronghold with cartel coins, now I want to activate it on another server. But it still says "purchase" there, and doesn't say anything about free reactivation... I'm not sure if it's just a UI misinformation, or if it'll actually cost me 2500 CC again to buy it another server. For comparison: when I deactivated Coruscant it didn't say anything about reactivation either, just "purchase", so I really hope that i can activate yavin for free... Can anyone confirm please?

  5. What is the formula to determine new cast time if we know the alacrity %? It doesn't seem to be exactly NCT=CT*(1 - alac / 100) because in game having 8.09% alac on my operative's character sheet i receive 1.85 cast of KI (normal cast is 2s): 2 * (1 - 0.0809) = 1.8382 =/= 1.85 Or does alacrity from skill tree apply in different way then alacrity from rating? In this example it is 2% from skill tree + 6.09% from 460 rating.
  6. Sithhikers will be queuing on Wednesdays, starting at 8 PM EST.
  7. My favorite kill order is to down them all at once with AOE. Doesn't work that good for pugs of course but it is the most easy and clean way to do it with overgeared people.
  8. I run the +50 force bonus on dps set and I love it. Due to regen its 2-3 extra hard-hitting abilities instead of saber strikes and that's a lot when you need to kill anyone quickly, especially if he's beign healed/guarded in the process. Discovering its full potential takes a bit of practice as a tank hybrid but for deception it fits the playstyle naturally and you get more burst in every opener while stalkers set gives more burst only when FP is up. Never tried balance in pvp though and it probably won't be a best choice for it, i usually run tank hybrids or 0/27/14. For tank set I'm using PVE set bonus too (though using it for hutball only), 2% plain DR is pretty awesome in pvp.
  9. Not true. It transfers damage only for PVP but 5% DR applies to both PVE and PVP. Here's the tooltip: While active, the guarded player takes 5% less damage and generates 25% less threat. In addition, so long as you remain within 15 meters of the guarded player, 50% of all incoming damage from enemy players is transferred back to you. Nothing here indicates that 5% DR is applied for player damage only (PVP part comes after words "in addition"). I also remember seeing some anecdotal evidence on forums that people tested it in PVE by standing into exhaustion zone with guard and without and confirmed that it does work.
  10. Healing relic is, actually, horrible for healers. You have no control when it procs, it can even proc on a sliced droid (since this cc actually heals its target). Without PVP use clicky power DG relic and a matrix cube (which is on par with BM power relic and slightly worse then WH).
  11. It's not a "cast". DS is a free filler heal that applies it effect while channeled and doesn't have a cooldown, so you can interrupt it at any point to do something else without losing anything. As mentioned before it is handy to get energy back when specced into (and even without speccing if your energy is empty it's the only thing you can do aside from surgical probe).
  12. From changing into juyo and back i see 5% DR differece with Defensive Forms, 3% without. UPD: actually you're right, Undying adds 2% DR for all forms so it's 7%. Considering set bonus — I used weaponmasters for a bit while gearing up, then switched to vindicators and I like it much more. Usually UR is off CD when i'm about to die, with or without those 15 seconds and even if opposite team has very good dps and i'm going down just to inerrupt that cap several times and die again it won't make that much of a difference, imo. In bm gear i did (almost) full power itemization with WM bonus. Currently, using vindicators bonus and ~250 crit smash hits about the same that it did with full power itemization and WM bonus. I also find it amazing for carnage when opponents don't stun/kb right after leap.
  13. Running with pugs is always painful, one way or another. Less so for a good tank/dps then a healer of course. I'm still learning how to be a good op healer so i find such situations actually helping me to learn it better by keeping everyone alive in the most dire circumstances for them and myself, if all goes ideal it gets kinda boring to do HM FPs every day.
  14. It is not. Choke/stasis prevents you from doing anything and fills resolve, hence it's a stun. Roots prevent movement while you still can use abilities and do not fill resolve. To the subject — this doesn't appear to be PVP-specific, too. Was knockbacked several times by champion droid (BH heroic boss on imp side) through shroud. Same thing — works in most cases but sometimes it doesn't.
  15. Well, sometimes nerve wracking could be a viable choice (our dps had much easier time with bombardiers in EC with two assassin tanks stunning them), but i usually pull points out of swelling shadows/rapid recovery for it since the hps gain from this talent is really marginal.
