  1. Thats a good suggestion Razim. Perhaps it could be evolved to letting us designate armor from one captain to a select of NPCs which we choose?
  2. I would suggest implementing a single outift tab to the NPCs we can place in our stronghold, or "simply" make them wear armor. This way you could expand your Havoc squad members, you could outfit the Mandalorian entourage you always wanted, or have the followers of your sith cult looks as menacing as hell. Now there are two problems with this I can think off: - Letting us customize the armor of NPCs in the Stronghold would reduce our need to buy new NPCs to place in our stronghold. People would simply use Republic Guards or some pretty cheap NPC to customize their stronghold with. Now I don't think this would be an issue due NPCs having different poses and animations. The need to have them stand out from each other would still make you buy them. - The second problem would be implementation. Now my guess is that it would wiegh heavy on the servers if this was implemented. Seeing that we can't even have companions keep their armor after we have left them in the stronghold and gone to another character. This might not be a problem with the NPC because they won't change their apperance from character to character. I am unsure whether it would be to hard for the servers to "remember" the clothing combination for thousands of more NPCs potentially. Seeing that BW usually use a certain number of different NPCs in an area, and not a large variation might lead us to believe that it is because it would strain the engine or something. Regardless, I would not be surprised if this had been posted before. But it would be sooooooo gosh darned cool!
  3. Yes exactly! The covert headpiece so many suggests would not make the problem go away at all. As a Jedi you can use headbands which remove the hoods, and man just running around in a bathrobe looks way to bad to be a solution.
  4. In essence, this is what I would hope BW could do. http://i.imgur.com/dnFMIgM.png Excuse my paint skills.
  5. Yes, and for those players there is currently no solution. I would still urge BW to work on a hood-toggle, but from my understanding it is on the "wall of crazy", and then it might never happen :S So a hood-down as headgear is a good work around in my opinion.
  6. I posted this on reddit a short while ago, because I could not get it up on the forums. Think it is pretty relevant to spread it here as well. I have been thinking about a good solution to the hood toggle question for a while and I have come up with this. Not sure whether it has been suggested earlier (probably has). - Make headgear with the model of a hood down. Make new headgear which has the apperance of hoods, preferably hoods hanging down over your back. The property of this headgear is ofc to remove hoods which are up. Now this way you can also apply hoods that are down on other armors such as trooper and smuggler armor, which can give your character a ruggedy look (perfect for the upcoming outlander?). My hope, even though the hour is late, is that BW can drop two hoods which take up the headgear slot, in the CM shop before KOTFE. Seeing that the knight in the trailer has an armor piece which in game usually has the hood up (except for the Kell Dragon piece but that is also full of sparkly lights), and it would be cool to match that look for jedi, sith and all other outlanders. If BW could release two new headpieces, I would recommend the most common hood down model. One black and one brown. After that BW has the possibility to spread new hood-down models in coming cartel packs. Seeing that hood down models can be made pretty quickly and with different patterns, the possibilities are many. Other headgear can also be added to the hood down headgear model so it can vary even more. This is not the ideal solution, but seeing that a real hood-toggle might never happen I believe this is the next best thing. Ofc, it means that if you use a hood down headgear, you won't be able to use other headpieces at the same time (unless BW combines models after a while). But that is a small cost compared to finally being able to run around with your hood down. I really really hope you guys can help me get this suggestion some attention. EDIT: Made a really horrible paint picture of what I am hoping for. http://i.imgur.com/dnFMIgM.png
  7. Stationary mannequins for display or armor like everyone else has said. But also the ability to dress up NPCs. I want live Jedi/Sith/Guards/Hunters/etc. to walk around in armor of my choosing. That way you could create additions to your squad for a trooper, create apprentices for your Dark Lord og have a private jedi council of your own.
  8. Hello BW, I am usually not browsing the forums very much because of all the whining, but I saw this posted on reddit. I think you made a good choice based on previous experience with changing armors. I for one kind of like it this way, and I guess I would not care to much whether or not it got "fixed". Just wanted to pop in and say that most forum posts are about whining, and I am glad you focus on a bit more important problems than this bug. Keep up the work on getting those hoods down hehe Best regards
  9. Yup, this gear was also seen during the timeline vids as a early imperial design. Really like it, and it would suit agents very well.
  10. Agree with all but #2. Make a Dark Jedi/Sith robe instead. This can be done by simply recoloring a standard jedi robe, or by recoloring the life day set. Ofc I would like a new model better, but this could be done for a while at least. Sith acolyte armor from the trailers = Give it... It is in the trailer after all, and we have Battlelord's and Valiant for us jedi.
  11. Don't have a pic atm, but it is the Tionese/Columi/Rakata piece without shoulders, also think the hood is down.
  12. I know I know, but the once Revan wear in the Maelstrom Prison bears a close enough recemblance. Pic for reference: http://images.wikia.com/swtor/images/7/78/Revan1.png
  13. Agreed, but if they add color dye then we could simply dye Revan's robes since they share the same model. On that note I would also like it if they dropped the color on Revan's robes.
