I suspect you're either on Voss or completing the Hoth bonus series. In anycase... towards the end of the game, most MOBS mainly do unresistable damage (internal/elemental). You take 100% damage. Even with 10K hitpoint, they can burn/poison/bleed/shock/etc. you to death very, very quickly. You kinda get an idea of this as early as Quesh, or Tatooine - Czerka lab infected mobs. I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Not a lot you can do, except the usual and just have the brute force it.

Because it's an mmo: no, tho' that's fun. Because it's Starwars: kinda.. moreso because it's not fantasy (dwarves/elves, etc.. that kinda fantasy) My core reason for playing was/is the eight vo'd stories in the modern setting. "Shallow" reason maybe... but there it is. Once I've complete the stories, I leave. Great fun so far (~2months played).

Rarely anymore. I'll do some if I'm waiting on a crafting result and am on the ship, otherwise nope. Other people like the space missions so that's good to know, and I hope they're having a blast.
