  1. Definitely a bug, if that alt account is subscribed then you should have already gotten the RotHC mission from the terminal on your ship if you're the right level, even before KotFE dropped.
  2. Can you let me know what you're currently investing in so I can short it?
  3. Umm, maybe not half, but there's a good chunk of things you can't get anymore. People cried about that over there too. They have the Black Market vendor now, prepare your ****.
  4. What I did when I came back is to start a new character, totally different class than my 50. Played about 20 levels there to get myself back into how this game is played. Then back to my 50, you'll get a mission for Makeb (That's the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion) from on your ship, there's a terminal there.
  5. Your point is basically amounting to twitter generation 'I deserve it now, who cares about the rules, they're dumb because they trigger me *stamps feet on ground*'
  6. Which entitles you to the expansion, on release date. Not early access to the expansion. This isn't rocket surgery.
  7. Because you need to be a subscriber to get the expansion content. Which has been stated since basically forever ago.
  8. It's a week wait. Seriously, it's not like there's some kind of progression content you need to get the jump on or something. 'slap in the face' is the new phrase of the twitter generation.
  9. Clearly 'everyone' doesn't. The only constant here is that every game ever made has people who think it's 'broken and sucks'
  10. I have no idea how you get any of that from WoW, they've been recycling so much the next expansion is essentially BC2. Raid content has been the same formula for years. Character customization has been the same thing since Cata (if you're talking about transmog), they've little to nothing else beyond that.
  11. The number of WoW 'like' games that are F2P and floating very nicely revenue wise would seem to indicate otherwise. The fact that you think there are only two groups of MMO players out there is laughable at best. There are far more layers than 'people who like wow' and 'people who hate wow'. Whether or not your "secret" is actually true will be borne out in the next few years with things like EQNext or the Pathfinder MMO, and we'll see how well that does. If they can actually be profitable then we might see a shift in the types of MMO's produced.
  12. Apples and Oranges. Every sub based MMO that's come out recently of the grindy long term commitment has failed pretty hard in comparison to the F2P titles. If it weren't the case you'd see MORE of those types of MMO's, not less. You certainly wouldn't see those titles moving from sub to F2P if the revenue wasn't there. Revenue drives the choices publishers make with their games.
  13. You might have missed the shift in MMO players since WoW was released, but the majority of players in MMO's ARE min maxers these days. Sorry, but those days of the EQ type player are gone man, long gone.
  14. It's also a complete WASTE of resources to provide those options since 90% of players will ALWAYS choose the easiest/quickest path.
