  1. Add Sven Thrills, Sergeant Thrills, and Sergeant Sven to your list. I’m in the same boat as you. Want to do Hardmare bosses, 5.0 HM Ops, and NiM Ops. I’m a Commando Healer trying to get with a group that does Fri/Sat nights.
  2. Semi-experienced Commando Healer looking for a Fri/Sat night group of individuals to pull HM/NiM content. Not particularly interested in being on a “training team” if you know what I mean. I’m ready to pull competitive content and pull my weight. Also would prefer a steady group that doesn’t have to sub players every week. If y’all have anything. My Discord is Kyle#5202 Thank you.

  5. Trooper characters. ——————————————— Personality and traits: Troopers are a varied lot, so instead of explaining what we’re looking for, better to go with what we want to avoid: 1. The Overranked Soldier A badly written trooper is one that holds a rank higher than the role they will be performing. The guild story is one of combat operations and soldiers deployed into the fray of battle. We aren’t Havoc Squad or “Meteor” (Force be with him/her) it’s not normal for anyone over the rank of CPT to actively be seen on the battlefield. We keep the ranks at SGT and below. 2. The Do-Anything Soldier A soldier who constantly switches roles on the battlefield without regard to service branch or rank, or is usually capable of handling every task they need to do by themselves. If you see the same trooper participating in an infantry skirmish one day, jump into the commander's seat of an APC the next, still later pilot an assault shuttle and finally go on a risky secret mission deep in enemy territory, then you know this trope is in effect. #wedontwantit ——————————————— Armor: Members of Althir Platoon wear all white (White/White Dye) armor that follows the design of the TD-17A Colossus, Trooper’s Exalted, and/or the Stalwart Protector sets. We’ll help you get the armor or something similar, but probably won’t supply you with the dye until you’ve shown us what version of the set you’re going to go with. Looking unified is important to us, but we also don’t want you to hate the way your trooper looks, so some deviations are cool, so long as it doesn’t detract from the overall uniformity of the guild. ———————————————
  6. BACKROCKET BASTARDS: A STARWARS STORY P R E L U D E Valor-class cruiser Peremptory, Republic Fleet, the Core, 26 standard hours after the Invasion of Ossus The bowels of the ship were teeming with the ship's crew making preparations to set space detail and get underway. In the midst of the somewhat organized chaos, the 103rd Battalion of the 66th Infantry Brigade was boarding the cruiser in waves aboard shuttles departing to and from Carrick Station. Hundreds of soldiers were being ushered around and getting acquainted with the Peremptory—one of the surviving Valor-class cruisers of the Republic's dismantled Navy. The Eternal Empire's conquest of the galaxy had a reverberating affect on the Republic and the Sith. Unfortunately, after the Eternal Empire became the Eternal Alliance, the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire picked right back up where they left off...open hostilities. The third war between the Sith and the Republic—if it ever truly ended—was defibrillated on Ossus, a terrestrial planet off the Perlemian Trade Route in the Outer Rim. A contingent of Jedi set up a colony there to avoid total annihilation during the reign of the Eternal Empire. This was something the unbridled Sith Empire could not abide... The invasion of Ossus provoked the Republic’s military to knock off the dust and move to aid their ancient allies. It was no easy move, however. In dejarik, the play would leave the Republic forked. At the time, its forces were little more than capable of defending the systems that made up its democracy. So going to Ossus left the Republic exposed, but not going ran the risk of seeing the extinction of the Jedi Order. And this was something the Republic could not abide... So it was war, whether by fate or the Force, it was war...and the Peremptory was a warship. Therefore, off to war she would go and the mettlesome members of the 103rd would go with her. She would watch over them and they over her, because she was home—come what may—she was home. ——————————————— Contact us if interested. 7. I mean, it was fine when they just had taunts. But Guard should definitely be a tanking ability. Taunts + Guard means why even play a tank in PvP? Just my opinion...especially with a timer on Huttball... 🤷*♂️ All kinds of silliness these days.
  8. Nostalgic indeed. I miss 8v8 ranked. I miss the first 2 years of this game period. /cry
  9. #feelsbad Paying monthly for that hiatus. Can I borrow $15?
  10. Well, from what I can tell atm... Marauders can stay alive longer than Juggs due to better cool downs and combat stealth which means you’ll do more damage in the long run. I know that seems silly given the class design between Jugg/Mara, but it do be like that. Assassin outperforms both of them right now. That said, you get the most variety out of playing the Assassin imo. But it’s probably one of the most difficult to fully play well across all aspects of PvP (i.e. guarding objectives, stealth caps, taunting, 1v1s, huttball, etc...). The Assassin has a pretty significant role in PvP across all maps. The Jugg has the 2nd most variety, like the Assassin you have the option of tanking and objectively can do much more than just deal damage. But the DPS specs for Juggs are outperformed in terms of DPS output by the Marauder right now. However, as a healer, Juggs are mad annoying and offer a lot by way of support with grieving healers...they have a lot of control over certain classes. They are still a higher learning curve than Mara though because again, you’re expected to provide levels of support via taunting, leaping, etc... all the while dealing damage. Mara is full DPS. It’s all anyone really expects from you. Be in the fight and kill things. So imo it is the easiest of the 3 classes you’ve mentioned. That also makes it the most boring. At least for me. So there you go. Just some of my opinions. At the end of the day, dont worry about meta and play what you like most.
  11. Tacticals and set bonuses are definitely worth the grind for PvP. So I’m not sure what you mean...

    Solo Regs

Meh... I hear him, but without cross-server queues at launch, it still would’ve been a problem because there still weren’t enough pre-made groups to fill games. What if a team has a group of 4 and group of 3 in queue? They need 1 person to fill the 8th spot. Having a solo queue only just isn’t going to work. Doesn’t matter if it was implemented now or at launch. It’s just not feasible to punish people that want to play with friends in PvP so a solo gamer can exclusively be with other solo gamers in an MMO playing a game mode that is objective based and lends itself to team coordination. Try joining a queue for an operation that requires a lot of group coordination. It pops very rarely because it’s not a good system to implement. What’s being asked for in this thread is no different.
