  1. Wed have to see a screenshot to determine exactly what may have happened but speculation could have been you ran low on engine power which is one of the essential skills of GSF to master. Also you might have been hit with an engine interdiction ability they drain a foes engine power , Ion splash and slicing will both do so as well

Im with Riia on this one theres way too many problems with limiting ship types to 1-2 a match. not the least of which is who gets to fly them what priority do you assign? first come first serve? number of matches flown across legacy or account? what do you do when one player only has a gunship or bomber on their bar because they love that ship type but only have a few 100 matches under their belt? things get messy enough as it is without a lockout of that type. the ability of a couple good players getting into a gunship t challenge a gunship wall in gunship chess is sorely needed sometimes and to have to beg some poor new player to SD so you can jump on one would really be a serious mess for the game the best bet is to help people learn how to confront gunships and how and when to take cover so they dont become targets dyring a round of gynship chess
  5. Heck i just had a run on SS wednesaday night that went all the way to 1:30 am before it croaked with frequent pops and competitive matches all night long

In that instance its just practice practice practice keep flying GSF has a stiff learning curve but one that does improve with more matches and flying time For dom matches get to a sat thats the big tip there. the sats are the key as long as youe on one and either defending or contesting it you should be fine. For TDMs i grant you it can be a bit trickier but some of the best advice i can give is find a wingman and stick with them or stay near the group shoot anything that gets in range using tab to target the closest enemy keep the enemy incide the big circle and the closer to the center the better I know it can be rough they did make the non contributing timer a lot tougher because of a bunch of people just going AFK and coasting along in matches which ended up costing people who were actually trying the win.   8. Also confirming bugged, Started the companion on SS and made it to the cheating algorithm only for the scan utility to not activate when i went to the casino floor. reset the mission tried again no luck

I dont think the 64 bit broke the mechanic by any stretch of reason but ill give you this much between 7.0 and now there has been a marked rise in desync on the servers to the point where even someone like myself with a very fast connection and a solid computer will suddenly lose lock or break a lock i didnt think i could.'' so whats most likely happening is your target or yourself had a bit of dsync at that moment

That sounds like latency then the target is either just slightly off or hes slightly delayed ive had it happen a lot more lately beyond that RNG is still a factor with a ships evasion enabling the chance for a shot to miss. I cam attest to this ive litrallly fired 6 shots in a row at a bloody BOMBER and missed for some reason which i can only put up to RNG

Sorry not good ideas here points of order 1: gunships not moving while sniping allready in game a gunship with the snipe scope on cant move as it is and with the exception of strafing is a stationary target and as vulnerable as any to attacks from the rear or sides and even the front or top or bottom any direction really. gunships cannot fire torps or missiles from the sniper position in fact they have to deny themselves the sniper position arguably their biggest advantage to use their missiles inability to use their engine locks would be insanely broken as it would deny a pilot the ability to make a fast escape and would necessitate adding in some form of escape method for a gunship pilot to use to escape instant death such as massive health improvements armor and shielding which would render them nigh invulnerable turrets 2 secondary missile bay firing juggernaut torps that cant be stopped or evaded and that explode at random is beyond broken. a coordinated team could launch this at an enemy teams spawn point then follow it up by etting in range of the enemy team before they can retaliate heck a good team can devestate an enemy team without ever firing one of these by simply coordinating and getting right in the enemies facees plus this begs the questions of does this have an ammo capacity? is it infinite on a cooldown or a one and done? doe it bypass cover or los? how big is the explosion? does it bypass armor or shields or both espeically if its an instakill you think the disruption of gunships is bad now wait till you see a team in voice or discord coodinating their lauches of these one shot kill torps as two pilots go into the enemy gathers them together and 2 other pilot launch their torps from outside retaliation range which instantly devestates the enemy team then they rotate in on the respawn while the first two do the same thing and launch theirs some teams wouldnt even make it off the spawn points if the team was coordinated enough
  14. A sensor beacon essentially lays out a drone that created a field that does different things depending on the components you choose but baseline it buffs teamate accruacy and sensor ranges
  15. Id have to see video or a screenshot to give an accruate answer outside of that though sounds like either basic latency or a straight up miss targets at the edge of the targeting reticle along with high evasion can cause a miss easily
