  1. Hi All I have been a Subscriber from the start and even took part in the Beta. In all those years the new Inventory is the worst design change so far. As has been pointed out so far, the bright cyan edges combined with the large gaps between the squares make for painful viewing. Attempting to look at the contents All I can see are phantom spots at the junction of the squares and if the Icons are greyed out the icons are impossible to see against the overpowering cyan border and phantom spots. The best way to fix this would be to revert to the original. If that is not an option, then tone down the border colour and remove or narrow the gap between squares. This is not a case of like or dislike, it is a case of I just cannot look at the inventory for long without it hurting.
  2. Hi Neither the Light or Darkside Galactic Season Vendors seem to have Station Penthouse Deeds For Sale. Sorting by Price, 'Altuur's Infiltrator Customisation' is currently the highest priced item listed at 4 Galactic Tokens. I am a Subscriber have been since Beta, I have 8 Galactic Tokens in my Inventory. I have a Screenshot of Ki'at Thavo's list if required.
  3. Hi All After the fun of rolling back to 15.7 because of the AA bug in 15.11 I just updated to 15.12 and the 15.11 AA bug is still in the 15.12 Drivers. At least this time lowering AA to Medium restores the missing Lightsabres, Blaster Bolts, Holographs, Holographic Displays, Frosted Windows, etc... the main problem is most of the text is now fuzzy! For info I have a AMD HD7900 on a Windows 7 64bit System. Why does lowering Anti Aliasing make the text fuzzy?
  4. Started Discussion in: SWTOR Forum - Bug Reports - Visual Bugs Rolling back to AMD 15.7 worked for me.
  5. Ditto Windows 7 64bit and the latest AMD 15.11 Drivers for R9 200 / HD 7900 Series I'll add to the list of disappeared items: Holo-Trees everywhere The Frosted Glass Doors in my Nar-Shadda Stronghold Rolling Back now! (Edited - Update to original post) Just rolled back to AMD 15.7 Drivers and all is restored. Why does this always seem to happen when I actually get some time off to play
  6. Humm! I never understand why people always go for the most difficult way to solve a problem? In the end this is only a game not an attempt at 100% realism, just look a tw'lek lekku on lifts , all that is needed is just something to hide the obvious dangling bits! Sit on Speeder = Make bottom 1/2 or 1/3 of cloak being worn invisible (It can then still flap about to its hearts content without distracting the player) I see two routes: 1) Add a second cloak texture with the invisible part All the game engine needs to do is swap textures when the cloak is used on a speeder or mount where the problem occurs! 2) You add the ability to make part of a cloak texture invisible, all the game engine needs to track then is if the player is on a mount where the dangling bits show and you turn on the invisibility Job done minimal engine overhead!
  7. Hehe! Based in the UK, so Forbes is not my cup of tea, a US colleague mentioned it so I thought the SWTOR Forum would be interested. Searching the forum with 'Forbes' as the keyword showed the last article was in 2012
  8. An Interesting article in Forbes ranks MMOs by their 2013 profit. I bet you cannot guess how much they think SWTOR earned, after WoW of course Forbes Article on MMOs Profits

    Flyby Nerf

After doing a few flashpoints with my sawbones. Flyby by is now a 'Trash dump' compared to thermal grenade or even 'Cybertech V6 Grenades' As a clearer of adds or especially the adds that decided the healer is a nice target, it is now useless. The only 'compensation' is that according the to initial 'Do not nerf flyby' in the now lost PTS threads for 2.6 the DEV reply was 'this is stage 1 of a multiple nerf on flyby' to paraphrase the Dev's words 'We will be reducing flyby in stages as we felt that completely reduce it in one hit might bring about to much of a backlash from the sumggler community'
  10. Hit this one back just after launch with my now 55 characters Yesterday I did Esseles for the first time in many many months on a brand new Character and PC crashed as Esseles went into Hyperspace. Back at Launch I had a XP PC, now I have a 64Bit Windows 7 PC. This bug is almost getting as old as EverQuest's Snakes that do kick damage!! At least the workaround of minimising SWTOR just after accepting the chat until after you hear the end of going into Hypersapce still works
  11. So far I have: Known Schematics being used up even with already known messageGraphics Stuttering, This seems mainly other players / NPC's special ability graphics. Causes screen freezes for up to 5 seconds, Ping remains 30ms & CPU usage falls to 10% from 60%+ finally no unusual HD usage notedWhen flying in a taxi (So far every planet I have used a Taxi that has a 'Taxi model' So far Speeders have not disappeared), the taxi flickers in and out of existence just showing your character flyingsometimes on inspecting the item tooltips in my character screen and inventory i get graphical glitches (My Glitch Makes the Icons & Nearby Team members look like an Untuned Analogue TV)Companion weapons (specifically sabres & in my case the dual lightening streaks on Vibroswords as well) remaining "popped" even while sheathed. (Had this bug on & off since beta)
  12. Well at least they answered our guilds worry. That one of our members would lose 8 of his characters after the move. But we were also hoping that they would just merge the remaining Origin RP servers into one! Instead we are all going to a super sized lagfest. Where doing the dailies & the 2 lockboxes on Corellia in under 25mins is just a distant dream. where waiting 15mins to log in is the norm and waiting for a mob is done by booking a week in advance Way to go to 'improve' game play. Cut costs more like
  13. As someone who has absolutely no wish to splatter across the world what I had for Lunch or handover all my personal details to a US company bent on making a profit from them! Whatever happened to actually asking the Players of your game with 'a as you login poll' on what we want as a 'cheap gimmick' to placate us when you go to Free to Play. Rather than a random selection of Narcissistic Posers, most of whom I expect don't even play SWTOR!
  14. The most annoying thing for me is long coats and speeders of any shape or form! The way a long coat always hangs straight through the middle of the seat and mechanical parts of the speeder to dangle underneath the speeder after slicing it in half, instead of either bunching up on the seat, being sat on by the rider or flapping over one side or the other of the seat. As travel on a speeder is a large part of the game I find this totally immersion breaking!
  15. We stayed on our server as One of our guild if he was transferred would have a total of 13 Characters on the new compulsory server. As nothing was communicated in the FAQ except mainly tat 'about 7 days free play' and 'pets' We stayed put. Now we are getting in game messages saying we will be forcibly merged on the 31st! So will he get access to all his characters, will he lose one of his legacies, will he have to delete some or all of his characters. OR will character slots be increased, will he be allowed to have 2 legacies, MORE IMPORTANT THOUGH. and the one question allowed by this thread! Why was none of the above worked out and communicated to customers before you threatened to shut the servers?
