  1. There seems to be a lot of semantic arguments being brought up. While the name thing might be a problem, I can't imagine BioWare would allow anyone to lose their strongholds/outfits/items/credits/whatever if there was a server merge.
  2. Yes. I think that's bare minimum of what should be done about decorations.
  3. You're exactly right. I didn't say it would. I think collections are a great idea for decorations. I think making them available from a vendor or making them available in some other way in game could potentially do that though. I'm all for grand decoration packs on the cartel market making a return, or even some direct sale solutions.
  4. Yeah. That's fair. I'm kind of ignorant about the current PVP scene if I'm honest, so I can't speak for PVP players.
  5. I'd rather they merge servers by type rather than region. Have six total servers: US RP US PVE US PVP EU RP EU PVE EU PVP
  6. Alright. I'm a selfish jerk because I don't want them to ruin the economy of the game. Yeah. With a collection system, which we both seem to agree would be a good idea, your first point becomes moot. You haven't addressed my question, which is what, then, is your proposition to solve this issue?
  7. By that logic, aren't armor sets just like doll dress up? Don't know if I see the relevance in that argument, since there's armors that are also rare and also cost an absurd amount of credits. I'm all for decorations being in some sort of collection system, 100%. This will lower demand for decorations that cost a ridiculous amount of credits on the GTN, because you won't have competing prices with people who want duplicates. This will simply increase the amount of decorations on the market, and drive prices down, but what exactly are you proposing here? That you can craft rare decorations from the cartel market? That you can buy them for credits from a vendor? That just makes decorations worthless. It would ruin the economy around decorations entirely, and in turn ruin the economy around chance cubes and cartel packs. As a collector of decorations as well, I'd be kind of upset if suddenly the value of my decorations was significantly decreased. I think it should be required you unlock a decoration once, and if you want more, you can unlock it through collections. I don't think that's particularly unreasonable.
  8. He said we're getting a new Stronghold in July, with a "view of the ocean".
  9. Stopping by to submit 'Kel Dor'. Honestly, I thought by now they would have introduced a system that just gives you the appearance of one of these weirder 'less kissable' race, but doesn't actually make you that race. There could easily be something like a disguise, or like a companion customization option that makes you look like a rodian/wookiee/trandoshan/whatever
  10. I don't know how it is on other servers, but every decoration is available on the GTN on my server. Maybe not everyone gets the old 100,000,000 credit underworld bar, but not everyone can get every piece of armor or weapon from cartel packs either. That's just how it works. They've released grand decoration packs multiple times, and I'm constantly seeing old decorations drop from chance cubes. Prices on most of that stuff would drop, too with a collection system, since the demand for duplicates would also drop.
  11. These solutions are way more convoluted than the obvious solution, which we already have with Guild Strongholds. Let me add more previously unlocked decorations with credits. If BioWare wants to make some money, just add it to the preestablished collection system, and let me unlock more of the decorations with cartel coins. 60 for Bronze decorations 120 for Silver 400 for Gold EDIT: Didn't see this before, but 100% agree. I think you should HAVE to get the Cartel Market / Pack decorations off of the GTN if you don't already have them, otherwise the prices on that stuff is going to plummet, but duplicates can totally be in a collection system of some kind. Make it Cartel Coins. so people can choose whether or not they'd like to spend real money on a duplicate or just buy one for credits on the GTN.
  12. Dunno if I already posted this, but I gotta get this Sand People Chieftain NPC armor from KOTOR
