  1. So I'm not a huge Theron fan, but if he went evil, somehow managed to develop a force sensitivity (perhaps with the help of Zildrog) and became a dark lord, well then I would like Theron very much. That sounds like a very fun story arc to me.
  2. Summoning a companion in general is very un-RP as is.Personally, I'm very cool with the idea of summoning a companion, spending time with them in game and triggering text based convos with them. It doesn't matter where my companions are, on my ship, in my stronghold, Odessan...that's irrelevant. What would be nice, is being able to trigger more conversations with them. Perhaps based on time at your side, a certain in game event, completing a heroic or two. Stuff like that. As it stands, you can build relationships with companions just based on giving them gifts...I don't know about you, but I don't want the basis of a deep and meaningful relationship based on my ability to buy things for my friends and LI...from an RP point of view. I'm not trying to be abrasive or anything, I just think that summoning a companion is a small price to pay in order to interact with them. I'm okay with them not having a static meeting place I can find them for chats. And honestly, from an RP perspective...shouldn't they have roamed the ship anyway? Give me more convos and I'll summon my different comps no worries.
  3. It doesn't have to be on ships. Could be in any rest areas. Not all conversations took place on ships, some could be done anywhere with a rest area, cantinas mostly. So mail isn't the only option. A conversation could take place anywhere. As for the initiation of the conversation, well if it's with your current companion, no problem, inactive companions would have to notify you some other way yes. Either mail or a holo.
  4. I would love some figures of my toons...but in order to get their specific look including the gear/weapons rather than a few generic options it would cost a lot.
  5. Personally I'd be okay with just text conversations...as long as they kept adding more. How many resources could that really take? Reuse a few lines of dialogue along the lines of their "Hey, can I talk to you?" Surely that's doable?
  6. A few things that I didn't like. The single story and the magnitude of it. Personally I like stories where I'm just not that big of a deal. At the end of the class stories, SI and SW specifically, you end up a prominent member of the Sith, I was good with that. But now, we're the leader of our own faction...but with no ability to actually lead. And for my own personal non force users, there is no way they'd want that gig. I RP my Agent as a BH, and they just want to hunt. Very aloof type of character. Yes, I have my head canon in place of course, but it's hard for me to get through with so much importance put on these characters who prefer the shadows and/or aren't even kinda qualified to lead. The monthly release of content was meh for me.If they released monthly content that kept you busier for more than a single play session, then sure, but it was so little and was supposed to keep me satisfied for a month. Even taking my time playing through there was still a whole lot of waiting. Forced companions segments have always bothered me, even in vanilla when you HAD to play with X companion for Y step. The Emperor/Valk. I don't care. As in, I'm so over this guy. Can we have a variety and more interesting bad guys please. I stopped playing my knight when I found out that all that work I put in to stop the Emperor was for naught. And this goes for Arcann and Vaylin to a degree as well, but defeating the same villain over and over is not fun for me. "Ha ha you lay at my feet defeat...oh nope...you just ran off and are escaping...even though I just spent an annoying amount of time chipping away at your health and weakening you...we're not done. Oh you're going to show up as the big bad again...okay, yep, I guess." Just the story with Valk I disliked so much. Doubly so on my SI who has had people inside him before, and learned to control/get rid of them...and now I'm stuck with a character I'm bored with inside me and all my power can do nothing to stop him...so basically I'm not as powerful as I would have believed from everyone telling me I'm super powerful. And why, after I'm the leader of a faction, don't my companions, especially LI just come back to me. At first, you're gone, in carbonite, no one knowing what happened. But now, I'm starring in holos being sent across the galaxy. Surely they might want to come say hi. I didn't actually intend to type this much. Sorry. It's not the worst content I've ever played. But it really could have been taken in a much better direction. Overall I still enjoy the game. But mostly vanilla content.
  7. I always liked Hammer Station. I can't pin down why exactly, I don't think it's an exceptionally notable FP, just like it.
  8. I have to echo many others in that I'd gladly pay $60 for a full blown expac for SWTOR, but I'm not buying Anthem. Not because it's not my type of game, I like third person shooters...but it looks shallow. Lacking the depth that BioWare was once known for. I could be wrong, could be lore and story packed with plenty to do. But it's still EA and other than getting my fix here, I'm not buying their products at present. I'm not going to say I'll never buy another EA title ever again...they could change and become a video game developer again.
  9. I'd say it wasn't until the Dr's left that it stopped being BW. Those were two separate events right? EA purchased, then the Dr's left once they realized they couldn't do what they had been doing for years with their company (being successful that is).
  10. It is possible. It can be done yes. I highly doubt it would be done though. At least not by an official governing entity.
  11. I don't frequent the forums as often as some, but from what little I do read here I feel it's safe to say that if Eshvara's ever positive outlook has been damaged, then the Devs have definitely done something wrong.
  12. Would be very epic if they did an overhaul and made the original class stories still playable as 'lore' or 'history' story lines so people could still go back and see the stories unfold. So everything had a consistent theme/story/timeline. This is the Emperor/Empress now. This is the Grand Chancellor. War has returned between the Empire and the Republic. To see how we got here, click this button to play OG class stories.
  13. Yes. I would love to see something like this. Level 1 characters existing in the same timeline as level 70's so to speak. "I remember back when I was an acolyte here...it was evil-er and we had to walk up hill both ways in the cold smoldering oppressive passion of the darkside and we loved it. But that was before...before the Alliance *spits with disgust*"
