  1. I'm honestly floored that this topic didn't get one reply yesterday. What happened everypony? There is some Grade A trolling in here.
  2. I was spectacle at first, but then I was motorcycle with the alligator and it was 'k.
  3. Hit "R" only and you should get the behavior you want. Admittedly though, it is still a bit wonky...
  4. I'm not all that upset, and I'm not floored with Bioware's response, but it's not that big of a deal to me... but I love nicknames: Biounaware.
  5. *shrug* Not sure a whole new topic was necessary. This is the nth topic on this issue, it's pretty well understood.
  6. I don't think there's any misunderstanding. The de facto point of view on these forums is more or less what you just stated. It's been stated/requested many times in less words and more eloquently. Source: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=183716
  7. That's funny, we would have that issue when we killed them one at a time. We had our gunslinger take them out at range and we killed him the first time we did that. That was the first, and only, time the third pyramid actually scored a hit.
  8. The Kinetic tree is indeed very fun, there's a proc and priority rotation built in that is actually quite enjoyable. On top of that, situational awareness is key. It's a very well built spec and class, I've really enjoyed the uniqueness of it myself. After Act I the story actually becomes quite enjoyable, the saving Jedi masters gets pretty old but after that, it really is fascinating. Glad you're having fun!
  9. i think you misunderstood me because, upon reexamining his comment I may have misunderstood what he meant by secondary stat. I assumed he was referring to def and such as the primary stat (I know those are secondaries, I was being a derp). But yes, you are quite correct, END is very dominant. Simple miscommunication
  10. It stays that way (thus making many of these posts pointless...)
  11. Right, you just explained WHY they shouldn't focus on catering to the 1% of the "hardcore." Many people sub for 1 or 2 months and leave, agreed. So maybe if they cater to them, instead of the 1% of the population that resubscribes consistently, they'll sub for months to come! Fact is, the uber hardcore progression raider is a sheep. They will consistently flock to the most juicy content and pay their subscription. Evidence: see every so called hardcore MMO released in the past 15 years.
  12. I think most people stopped caring about your post when you pretended to represent a group of people you do not represent. Furthermore, I am the 99% (lul...).
  13. I feel ya, the main problem is that depth perception is inherently more difficult on 2d surfaces like, say, computer monitors! I do hope they do add a void zone, or at the very least a shadow (it makes no sense for their NOT to be a shadow, AFAIK Soa's prison chamber doesn't defy the universe), but at the same time I've more or less been able to get Soa under it 100% of the time now. (Unless of course I really am missing the third one every time). I generally just pull into basically first person and look up at the floating pyramid. Soa is right in front of me, I can his shield clipping into the pyramid sometimes! And then, BLAMMO--nothing happens except I get hit for an exuberant amount of damage and Soa remains shielded.
  14. Well, unfortunately I am not german. that being said i've encountered that topic multiple times hoping to decipher what it says. So quasi bump/plead for more help!
  15. As my guild has been forming into SWTOR the few of us at 50 have been running norm EV and what not. We're just about to step into a more regular schedule, to take on HMs when we have the comp and after post launch blues, but there's a few outstanding bugs that concern us. First and foremost is the reason this topic exists. Every other bug I speak of there's a way around (mostly just brute forcing). But Soa in P3 with the floating Pyramids we've been having issues. Namely positioning. I myself am tanking this sucker but after the second pyramid drop, the boss seems to take a turn for the buggier. Pretty much without fail I have been unable to get him successfully hit by the third pyramid. From reports in the raid, about half of the raid reports that Soa is right under the pyramid and the rest says he's about 10 yards ish away. Here's the kicker on this... I still get hit by the Pyramid. We haven't been bothering wiping on it over and over and over again as this is just what happens. The pyramid seemingly lands right on top of Soa and his shield remains. Obv. there is SOME rng in this fight. Who gets trapped, etc. A pyramid set to land across the platform and Soa decides to cast a spell halfway while walking there. But this bug on top of it all just is icing. Let me repeat, many have reported Soa is correctly positioned (others say he is clearly not under it as well). It has always been the third pyramid that has this issue it seems. Any tips or if anyone can confirm this bug. If it is truly a bug, we may just skip Soa in the future and work on HMs or the new KP bosses. Danke! PS. I'm a Shadow tank. Raid comp usually is myself, an off tank (usually just dpsing), 2 healers (commando and sage), 2 ranged dps (sage and gunslinger), 2 melee (vanguard and sentinel)
