  1. I don't know how people can tolerate leveling through the exact same planets over and over and over again. After playing my Vanguard some more I wish I made my Mercenary a Powertech, but I sure as hell don't want to do Belsavis or Voss again just to play a Powertech. Allowing a switch won't break the game.
  2. I PvP alot on my alts and I can't spend the warzone comms on anything useful since I have to wait until I'm 55 to grab the gear. I could have the full set for my class by now waiting for me in the bank due to all the warzone comms I make. Might as well rename "You have reached the Warzone Commendation limit" to "You got no coms from that match, tough" I don't even think it used to be like this, either.
  3. What's sad is that they're not able to. One of the biggest selling points they marketed about this game, and now they aren't able to continue it because they ****ed up big time, lost about a million subscribers, and have to work with the money they make from the cartel. Which gave us GSF, aka "these two dailies for a godawful minigame I'm never going to do are clogging up my pvp terminal but the orange gear is nice". Don't get me wrong, I love the game even with its flaws, I just wish they spent what budget they have left more wisely. Like on a new class or endgame.
  4. Yes, god yes. I play a Vanguard tank and while I can hold aggro fine this would be extremely helpful so I can know when its time to start stepping it up.
  5. I also think that your skills should reflect how your droid appears, so that people in PvP can identify you immediatley. Like the holograms around a Trooper/BH's gun and showing what spec they are. So tanks are the big droids, healers are the protocol droids, etc. I think it's also perfectly acceptable for everyone to charge screaming at a protocol droid the second they get an option to kill it.
  6. This. I've been playing for a long time and it was alot easier to get things done during that week of double XP. If anything, make it so after you get a character to 50/55, you get Double XP activated for the whole account. This lets you see all the other class stories faster without having to go through the exact same side quests all over again. It makes the risk of burning out/getting bored significantly lower
  7. I'm gonna start off by saying I know this isn't the first time this idea has hit the suggestion box. I just want to keep the idea fresh in peoples minds. So a lot of people I've talked to when talking about new races or species have mentioned that they'd love a Droid race. But, the problem with this is obvious. Droids can't be Sith or Jedi, wouldn't be considered equal by any Imperial (and probably half of the Republic), and chances are would be missing a few companions because who really wants to follow a Droid? The only workaround is a Droid class instead of a race.. One being the type of droid you are, which would be split into three classes with two talent trees. You could change your decision later on though, because it's not impossible to rebuild or reprogram a droid. Enforcer/War Droids - Tanking specialization. Protocol Droid - Healing specialization. Assassin Droid - DPS specialization. The two talent trees would decide on how you preform your role, like ranged tanking opposed to melee. There's just one problem -- what's making the Droid any different from exsisting classes? Droid enemies already use alot of "tech" abilities, like the Harpoon from Vanguards or Probes from Agents. The harder part is that even a few unique Droid abilities have the same functions as already exsisting ones. Wrist Lasers = Unload Heat Beam = Force Lightning Retractable Blade = ...Retractable Blade. The only solution I could think of is that while you keep some similar abilities, they work differently depending on your talents. Let's say you have a missile AoE like the Bounty Hunter's, where they just hit the button then click the area they want it to fire at. Well, what if instead of that, you gain a talent where the Droid's aoe is activated the second you hit the button, but you can drag the mouse to move where the missiles land for the duration of the ability? Or that you may click the area but then continue moving, with the missiles flying out of your back as you move? Of course these are just examples, but this is how I imagine the Droid class being possible. It's its own race at the same time, with its own set of companions and own story. Some abilities are familiar but work completely different. It also opens up a larger range of roleplaying scenarios. A Droid simply entering the Cantina without an organic with it is an instant conversation starter. The look of the Droid would depend on the faction, and instead of a neutral class, why not just two Droid buttons on each faction class selection? Republic Droids and Imperial Droids would have different stories, maybe a shared starting area, but different stories onward. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did writing it, because it's something I'd love to see in the next expac.
  8. These are just a few suggestions I've thought of, so I'll get to the point. LESS SERVERS - The reason the population is so low is because there's way too many servers. Delete the majority of the low population servers, or combine them with other servers. NEW SPECIES - DEVARONIAN - There's no reason for these guys to not be playable. They fit in all gear, they have very humanlike features, they're romanceable, and can be a Bounty Hunter/Imperial Agent exclusive class unless unlocked through legacy. BLASTER RIFLES FOR POWERTECH - Self-explanatory. LOWER PRICES ON LEGACY GEAR - The orange customizable gear from Legacy vendors is waaaaaaaay too expensive. Lower it down to 50k or 30k a piece. That's all.
  9. I'd play a Droid species in an instant. Unfortunatley I think Bioware might deny this one because of the same issue they denied Kaleesh and a few others. Because the Romance scripting might get in the way, and then they'd need to voiceover a few hundred more lines reffering to our Droid species. ...Plus, wouldn't it be kind of weird getting a quest from an Imperial Officer to kill Droids, that he refers to "buckets of bolts" or something, while a Droid is STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM? I'd like a droid species too but I think Bioware might find it a little hard to impliment.
  10. So, Smugglers and Agents have a cover bind set to "F". ...Wouldn't it be alot easier for Assassins, Scoundrels, Operatives, and Shadows be able to change that button to a stealth bind? Operatives and Scoundrels rarely if ever use cover, so why have that entire button dedicated to it when your main thing you have to put on a sidebar and click it? And Assassin/Shadows should just have it to make the class a little easier.
  11. I agree, I want my purple crystal. Having it craftable would also be nice. /signed
