  1. Juggs/Guardians just need one more defensive cooldown on a 90 second timer for thier dps specs at least, end of story. Close thread now please. No nerfs needed.
  2. I can understand those reasons. I think I was more going for if your premade runs into the problem of long queue times and when you get a match it's against a pug team. Why would your premade want to keep competing in that enviroment?
  3. It's going to depend on the server. PVP servers that are fairly populated will have the best chances I believe of getting ranked premade vs premade on a regular basis. PVE servers will be premade vs pug mostly or premade vs Queue times imo. Which leaves me to ask the question, if you are elite and have a premade, why are you on a pve server?
  4. You really think a tank class shouldn't be able to out tank a lighter armor pure dps class?? lol. This isn't the first mmo where tanks had guard. Guard isn't some new ability designed just for swtor. You know who else we "out guard"? umm every other non-tank class, know why? because they don't have guard...
  5. I'm happy for warriors, at least the have some cool helms, which imo is always the main focus piece of a set of armor. The Knight pvp helm is just terrible, really there is no other word for it. Don't be so quick to blame the art people you have no idea if thier other ideas were shot down and they were ticked about it so they were like, I bet these knuckleheads will give this ufo helm set a greenlight, how hilarious would that be?? Sure enough they did.
  6. It seems most people posting have no experience with heavy dps classes and how they are meant to be balanced so I will help. Sent/Mara should without a doubt do more dps than a heavy dps guardian/jugg. The point of picking heavy dps is for less damage but more survivability, which just isn't the case and is where the inbalance lies. I'm not sure 1.2 will address that issue but as it is right now sent/mara have more dps and more survivability than a heavy dps class, which is just WRONG. Whether you disagree with me on that or not, one thing you can't argue is that a heavy melee dps should do less damage than a pure melee dps in medium armor, but should have more survivability.
  7. Could be a passive ability, or a one hour buff type ability. Think that is as much speculation as I will do, I prefer facts. One thing is for sure, I will be rotfl at the post-nerf posts... can't wait!
  8. Not trying to offend good pvp'ers. I'm good at pvp but there is no way I'm going to claim elite status in swtor. I know some will and already have though. At least they have one thing going for them if and when ranked warzones come out, they will actually have a little merit to thier claims.
  9. This made me lol. I would be ashamed to call myself an elite pvp'er and the pvp game of choice im playing is... swtor. Kids will be kids though.
  10. That is just bad logic. You can take the weakest class from any mmo, put a guard and heals on it and it will do well. Also please give me an example of a game that was balanced around "bads" as you say. That has never happened which makes your logic virtually nonexistent. Good players are rerolling marauders because they are op? I believe your definition of a good player is far off from what most people consider good. The only thing that made any sense was this is a team game, and you will do much better on a balanced team.
  11. Male JK voice is awesome. It may not fit large body types as well but BH and Trooper voices don't fit small body types well either. There is no universal magical voice that fits all body types perfectly. Also, we might as well start saying our favorite flavors of jam. Strawberry is the best.. rofl at grape.
  12. Well you don't understand why I love open world pvp. First, I also love instanced pvp, which pretty much destroys your arguement of one sentence. Open pvp is how you want to play it, there is nothing stopping your "elite awesomesauce squad of the best gamers on earth" from staying in a 6 man and roaming just wrecking shop. Even if you face off against the zerg and end up losing, if your truely an elite squad you just took a ton of pub players with you and earned respect which lasts a lot longer than an objective battle. I've been in several situations where the small elite squad came to save the day and defeated a larger force and although it's not a guaranteed success when you do pull it off it's an incredibly rewarding feeling. Also in a game that has both open world and instanced pvp there is nothing stopping you from queueing is there? I really don't understand why a pvp'er would want less pvp in thier game whether it's instanced or open world.
  13. Couldn't agree with you more. Here comes my first macro recording...just kidding... or am I?
  14. I'm not here to debate how effective this ability is or not, there are plenty of good threads on that. Just wanted to voice my opinion on the design of the animation, but before I list my problems I would like to say I would love the power to be boosted in effectiveness before any change in animation. So I was fine with project and telekinetic throw, I actually think those animations were well done besides the delay but I just want to talk about design. Then last night I finally got kinetic ward, and couldn't wait to see it. I was just let down in a big way, more rocks. I don't want to ramble anymore so I will list the three reasons why I feel it is poor design. 1. Floating asteroid belt around my mid-section. I'm sure you could make this look cool with a cinematic, but in-game graphics don't allow it imo. 2. If your on a ship and use kinetic ward, a bunch of rocks will come out of where? 3. If someone were to hit a floating rock with a bat in front of my face, the rock would smash the crud out of my face, sure it will deflect the bat but what about the rock? Well, I wish I liked the power just enough to not feel I need to post on it. Still love the game and I'm not going anywhere. Also I understand that some people are like really into rocks and I don't mean to offend them.
