  1. $0.00 I already have one foot back in that other MMO. Sorry, if this was "an expansion" announcement, it fell seriously short.
  2. Exactly what are you doing at level 50 then?
  3. I have been a big fan of the game since launch and brushed aside all the naysayers for a while. I can't ignore the reality around me anymore. 30 people on fleet during peak. BW layoffs, I mean really, you lay off your community manager?? 1.3... no mention of ranked warzones or EC nightmare. I have a bad feeling about this. I seriously think EA has put BW on notice, and the new layoffs are a direct response to the new sub forecasts, which do not look good. Forget what BW says, watch what they DO, and it doesn't look good.
  4. Here is your confirmation... http://mmo-mechanics.com/swtor/forums/Thread-Sorcerer-Sage-DPS-Compendium#VII
  5. That probably won't work, keep in mind that if you want to keep Psychic Projection (trust me, you do), you will need those 10 other points in TK, so without moving some more points out of Balance, you won't be able to pile any more points into Seer. I was thinking maybe moving into Force Armor.
  6. I'll get both your questions http://memoriesofxendor.com/parser/desktop/index.html Both, I have used it on target dummy on gav daragon, and in raid. When on a dummy, I would do about 1100 without raid buffs (except my own). Spec: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600oZfcM0bZcMfRsMkrc.1 Although I am really not having force issues at all, I am considering moving the two points from Mental Longevity somewhere else. For gear, you sound very much better geared than I am http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/b1a1f2ac-1dff-4e87-b065-c6c7dbdf949f I will have to do some testing if the proc trinket + power trinket is better than the proc + cube, I would bet the cube combo might be better for longer duration fights, or misses the potential of one more power cd. I am still learning too though, I am finding it harder to manage a greater number of dots (given the UI limitations) and procs that the pure balance and Tk specs demand.
  7. Not at all, as long as I am sticking to the standard priority list of WM, FIB, MC, and TK throw, it almost feels force neutral. I think this is primarily because the old 13/28 build had TK Wave, which was (at least from the hybrid spec) had one of the worst damage/force ratios, it was on par with Project. Now, be careful, there are some fights were you need to switch and do some aoe (like foreman). You will likely be spamming forcequake, this along with force armor and maybe a few other couple spells can deplete you if you are not careful.
  8. No, it is the next 10 ticks. Unless this was changed, also keep in mind though, if there is another sage in your group, they can eat your FIB charges too. I haven't watched closely enough, I think its a stacked debuff on the boss that gets consumed.
  9. Keep in mind, I will do 1000-1200 when I am stationary and can concentrate on doing my rotation, when I am moving lots, I drop to that 800 mark too. The 1/12/28 spec has the absolute easiest priority list to run through, IMO. Theoretical Priority List: - Mind Crush with a POM proc - Make sure Weaken Mind DOT never falls off - Hit TK Throw (twice) on a PP proc - Force in Balance on CD - Spam TK Throw In reality, this is what I am usually doing, it is not bleeding edge optimal, but even easier to maintain: - Dot with Weaken Mind (I really should hardcast MC as the tank is pulling, but I usually forget) - Start my TK Throw spam - POM Procs, Mind Crush, followed by Force In Balance since the CDs between MC & FIB are the same - After each FIB I am looking to see how much time WM has left, if it is close I clip it. - Repeat at TK Throw - If a PP procs, I usually abandon the rotation to get my two TK throws in, and then return to it Here is a link to a log we did on HM SOA and HM KP (up to fab), before we called it a night. See on SOA I sucked, all the platform jumping, but on bonethrashing or jarg/sorno I do better. Something isn't quite right with the dps calcs, because I don't think I do as much as 2200 dps it says I did on foreman, it is different than what MOX was telling me, but take it for what its worth.... http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/combatlog/63a04f92-513d-4564-af6b-85bff15f2285#d=0
  10. We do progression raiding, but we are significantly behind the curve compared to high-end guilds, i.e. we just got hm soa down last week for the first time. I am an average raider, I enjoy getting together with friends in a large group and having fun, evening if it means wiping, but I do consider myself reasonably competent. So, with that disclaimer. I have just tried using MOX meters the last two raids. And I do between 1000-1200 dps depending on the fight. Sometimes I drop as low as 800 dps if the fight has heavy movement and/or lengthy transitions (e.g. soa). I am largely columi geared, with only 4 rakata pieces, running the 1/12/28 spec.
  11. I don't think you need to worry for the next few years, but All Good Things....
  12. Ah gotchya, although disturbance hits like a wet noodle, again, I doubt this spec goes anywhere without a buff to disturbance.
  13. Interesting, although in all honesty I can't entirely deny that I see some of the brilliant white and red themes in papacy garb in some of the consular outfits. Careful though, mods get awful touchy when you even hint at religion in these forums.
  14. Of course we don't see jedi in this style in the movies, I wasn't claiming that, just that BW is trying to combine the styles of traditional jedi robes with the ornate wear of diplomats and politicians (which we do see in the movies) given one of the primary roles of the consular lore... diplomacy. Then again, we rarely saw Jedi in the movies actually conducting diplomacy (save the opening of episode 1), so we really don't have many great canon examples, but there are much more in EU. For example, a lot of the SWTOR outfits male consular Jedi are wearing are exactly what I imagine Farfalla (notably from the Darth Bane novels) would have worn. Although this might not be the best example because I heard SWTOR devs also used Farfalla as an inspiration for some Jedi Guardian styles too. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Valenthyne_Farfalla
  15. Thank you for setting me straight in your world of logic. I'm done, revel in your misery, try not to infect too many others....
