  1. @DSM, Aww, this makes me sad. I hate to see ya go! Your stories are always hilarious. (And I'm not entirely certain this isn't just one of Fenn'rys' schemes... )
  2. That's right, I'm not behind on comments for once! Disclaimer: That doesn't mean they're any more intelligent or anything. Low expectations, folks.
  3. Have a smattering of comments! Now for a story. This one is a followup to the previous piece for Mel, Goodbye, but it's kind of a new start for the bounty hunter and her crew. Title: Homecoming With Mel, Mako, Gault, Blizz and Torian No game spoilers, about 800 words Note: Curious what Mel looks like as a Joiner? Check out this fantastic drawing Kabeone did.
  4. Comments: Prompt: Love Letters & Secret Valentines A couple short letters for Kinka and Vector, set after Sacrifice when Kinka (temporarily) leaves Vector because she’s afraid her enemies will try to hurt the people she’s close to. No game spoilers. Note: For Vector’s letter, I ditched the “wes” and “ours” because I like to think he suppressed the bond with the hive to allow for a rare bit of privacy between the two of them.
  5. Catching up with a backlog of comments: Prompt: Goodbye With Mel, Kinka, Mako, Gault and Torian Picks up right after the last story, Not Forgotten. About 1500 words. No spoilers Despite the prompt, this isn’t Mel’s last story. But it does mark the end of the running from the killiks and looking for cures that don’t exist arc. I’m not completely happy with the way this turned out, but I’m excited about what comes next, so I’m pushing ahead anyway.
  6. Bright, we'll definitely miss you! I've loved reading all your stories, and the dynamic between Ruth, Quinn and Wynston in all permutations always makes for a fantastic read. I hope you'll still post a few stories to tumblr if the mood strikes you, SWTOR-flavored or otherwise. (Though it'd be a shame to never hear about a certain Chiss' cerulean contours again ). And thanks, Striges, for forging ahead as our esteemed prompt-giver!
  7. Whoa, stats! I love these posts; thanks so much for putting all that together, Bright! Totally can't believe I've written that much. And thanks to alaurin, too, for tackling the index. I can't tell you how much I use this. Keep up the awesome writing everybody!
  8. So excited about this week's prompt! At some point this week I'm going to do something for it, but I had to get this one out first, since it's been almost finished for a while. Worst Day Ever (with a little bit of Failure) with Mel and Gault Title: Not Forgotten Picking up Mel’s story, this takes place immediately after The Good Fight. To recap (for those just joining us and since I've skipped around a bit):
  9. A huge backlog of comments incoming. They're kind of all over the place; I've been sick for a few days this week, so if I missed you, I'm sorry!
  10. First some comments: As for the story: Boring Conversation Anyway With Mel, Gault, Mako and Torian, about 600-ish words Spoilers: None For indexing, I'd place this one after the Irresistible Urges story. Note:
  11. Comments first — look at me keeping up with everything Now for the story. For indexing purposes, I'd file this one just before Irresistible Urges. Prompt: My First With Melodai, Kinka and most of the BH crew, about 900 words Spoilers: None Note:
  12. Dropping off a healthy sprinkling of comments before I get hopelessly behind!
  13. I meant to pick up Mel's story or maybe dig into Kinka's younger years a bit more this time around, but Rissia got stuck in my head and refused to leave until I wrote something. So, here we go. For index purposes, I would put this one right before Family for Rissia. NotLP: Worst Day Ever Title: Empty Spoilers: Alludes to the big SW thing in Act III just briefly. About 500~ words
