  1. Are you in a guild? There's a LOAD of guild-based RP going on every day on the Ebon Hawk server. You might just be lucking out because you're trying it solo.
  2. You really don't want to be giving Vette any gear with Aim. Her main stat is Cunning - STR, WIL, and AIM are all utterly useless to her.
  3. It seems that it's unusually hard to earn reputation tokens from just running the new Kuat Drive Yards FP: there's no daily or weekly task to go along with the new content. Since it's linked, story-wise, to Galactic StarFighter, why not add these reputation tokens as rewards for at least the Daily and Weekly GSF tasks? It'd encourage more people to play GSF more often, and would also, I'm sure, give a little boost to the appeal of the great new FP.

The problem isn't so much the language, it's that he's recruiting for a guild on POT5, not Ebon Hawk!
  5. Ummm... if you're going to use a quote to bash the game, it's a good idea to make sure you understand what it means. The quote above means that SWTOR is more generous than it looks. It's a compliment.
  6. That really wouldn't work. People buying an item usually intend to make use of it immediately. When you list something for sale on the GTN, though, you know full well it won't be an instanteneous sale and acquisition of credits.
  7. I'm not surprised that they can't understand why they have to go back to fleet - because they don't. You can choose your AC on your Capital World. If you're going to be exasperated at player ignorance, maybe make sure you know what you're talking about? Why can you only enjoy the game if others are restricted from enjoying it their way? Your post is utterly ridiculous and illogical - there's no reason to add these resrictions.
  8. You make that sound like it's a fact. HK-51, while brilliant, is really not widely accepted at the best DPS companion.
  9. You can't buy the shells, of course, but the mods that provide the same stats as BH gear can all be purchased from the GTN.
  10. Did you try using the Group Finder for the two required Flashpoints? It should be easy enough, and people will be nice enough if you let them know you're questing for HK parts.
  11. They won't 'fix it' because it's not broken. The quest requires patience and strategy. It's not unusually hard or time-consuming if you have both.
  12. This is a really great argument. You're true to your name!
  13. Not breaking CC with their AoE attacks would also be great, but I think everyone is used to the companion AI as it is now - I don't really mind the current limitations.
  14. Getting off topic here, but I am interested in tracking the resale value of the podracer. My server (Ebon Hawk) had just two on its GTN yesterday - one priced at 4 million, the other at 10 million. Anyone else get a sense of the value of that speeder in in-game credits?
  15. Well, I don't have any objections to the Cartel Store, and I'm happy with a lot of the gear that's become available. However, the key point made by the OP is absolutely true - through purchase and re-selling it is simple enough to convert Cartel Coins into in-game credits, and those credits can undeniably buy you top-tier endgame gear. This is my situation: I hit 50 on my main in early 2012, and spent the summer grinding daily HM FPs and the Black Hole weekly to get Black Hole Commendations. I really enjoyed the gear progression, and was incredibly proud and satisfied when I found myself finally in full BH gear in every slot. However, I still don't have a really decent mainhand weapon. Now, I have two choices: start going on Operations and hope one drops, or, now thanks to the Cartel Store, I have an alternative: buy the new podracer mount for a small amount of my real money, put it on the GTN for a few million credits, then buy a crafted L27 Barrel on the GTN (the credits I make from the sale of the podracer would certainly cover this cost). Now, I'm not raging about this - in fact, I'm seriously considering doing it. My concern is how different the process is now, and how much less satisfying it might be to acquire a BiS weapon this way. I'm not QQing, and I don't actually think this will have a negative impact on the game, but I do think the OP makes a key - and frankly undeniable - observation.
