  1. I've got everything set on high except for my anti-aliasing, which I've turned down to medium. I've also change my in-game frame rate to max at 90FPS instead of 60FPS, and I've gained about 20-30 frames as a result. Recording looks pretty smooth, but only on Tython and Ord Mantell so far. Haven't tested it on Quesh (and yeah, I've heard the rumors too.) I've also turn down my visible player limit and played at a time when there were very few people on the server, so hopefully that won't be an issue.
  2. Whoops, just did a system double-check. I'm running a 6700, not a 6700K, so it doesn't look like I can overclock it because I'm not running a Z170 chipset on my mobo. Boo.
  3. Title pretty much sums it up. I'm trying to get SWTOR to stay at a stable 60FPS with high to ultra graphics settings, with the intention of getting several hours-worth of game capture. But I haven't even been able to focus on the recording aspect because I keep having my in-game frames drop below 60 from time to time. (It's only down to about 54 at most, but it's still noticeable.) Here's what I'm running: Windows 10 Home 64-Bit Intel Core i7 6700K @ 3.4GHz (Skylake) 16GB DDR4 (Dual) ASRock H170M Pro4 Radeon RX 480 4GB ATI I'm an overclocking noob, and haven't done anything with that since I built this computer back in November. Any help I can get would be appreciated.
  4. Yeah, while we all wait, is there anyone interested in coming over to my place for a drink? I live at 333 Gettheserversuprightnowplease Road. See you all there!
  5. While we continue into hour number 10 of maintenance, please enjoy some free referral shwag. My subscription runs out in a few days, so go crazy!
  6. I live in Denver, and I was so happy that they won man
  7. I haven't run across this myself, but I have a suggestion. Abandon the mission (if it's in your log), log out of that character, log into and out of a different character on a different server, then head back to your Warrior and try the mission again. What this does it is allows your account to kindof refresh your characters on that server. Again, I don't know if this will work...but it might...
  8. Of course! I'll be here every year after carefully analyzing the game and the amount of money it makes, and then come to the forums every time I add a subscription to my account and tell everyone here that the game is dead! On the serious side, no. I won't be doing that. All I did was post an opinion to the community, nothing more.
  9. Serious. Believe me, I don't want SWTOR going anywhere in the near future.
  10. I can now see that I have been sufficiently been branded as an idiot by the community. For the record (and I am not listing names or anything), I am so very happy that SWTOR is here to stay and has had the success it's enjoyed over the past few years. I have no problems with the game itself or the fact that community here is so eager to take me up on my invitation to call me stupid for thinking otherwise. Let me make it known, though, that the idea that it might get shut down is still a real one in the future. I do not profess doom and I don't predict the future, but it'll happen at some point. The only question is when. Thanks for your opinions, internet. No hard feelings, yeah?
  11. It's already lasted a few years...I'm not denying the success they've had since their launch in 2011. But it's still a F2P game with mass amounts of content still open to people who don't pay a penny to play it. That percentage of players alone is a big deficit to BioWare - "Think of all the money we could be making off of those people."
  12. That's part of it. Lots of the dynamic parts of gameplay are being abandoned for new content. People hardly really go for any of the new raids because there's always going to be new content down the road. And don't even get me started on the PvP system
  13. As a matter of fact, I posed that question to the forums last year
