  1. Yeah I chilled and went back to x5 accu augments that produce 735 (109.99) until 258. Cheers buddy.
  2. Thanks Rion. I've achieved sensibly better tbh. I was after a formula that wouldn't have me blatantly overcapped. I appreciate your input though mate.
  3. Vulkk says the new mythical accuracy number is 740. Can anyone actually tell me how to get that number or close with the new 252 gear (new to me I'm a returning sentinel) Been playing around with augments, enhancements and stim and no joy. Best I can achieve is 712 which is too low. Apologies if you've already seen another post on the topic but I'm desperate to finally actually get solid input. Thanks in advance !
  4. Ok I finally got it; what you didn't specify is you get 746 accuracy with 258 gear. which won't happen for a while since I just came back. So back to the old 109.99 set up. Thanks for the comments guys, very much appreciated.
  5. As a dedicated sentinel (returning player) I want ofc to itemise my gear to hit the ~735 required accuracy. Problem is, I can't move enhancements around like I did before. Now ilvl 252 will only move from like to like pieces (chest to chest, hands to hands, etc) Have BW made it so that the gear as it is proposed now already hits optimum caps without having to move mods / enhancements, etc around?
  6. That was never the case. Are you saying that's a new implementation from the moment 252 was released? How do you now itemise and balance stats then if you don't want say accuracy and instead require crit?
  7. Trying to upgrade / itemise 252 gear and it won't allow me to move mods and enhancements from a chest to hand. This was always possible before. Strange thing, the mod and enhancement both have markings that says "chest" where before only armours were strictly restricted to "like for like" piece. Can anyone tell me if they've faced that issue? Thanks
  8. I totally second that! (edit) on second thought, not the paying thru the nose bit ^^
  9. Yeah, sizes matter in SWTOR... and in this case "too big" is bad. My size 3 body gets definitely discriminated versus the more lithe slender ones when trying to squeeze through tight openings. I know how this sounds... but it's absolutely true. So, long story short my wish is for a body size compromise between size 2 and 3. And that regardless its size they all fit through any size openings. Oh and that chest ... please less. Thanks!
  10. Leader in the context I present is obviously NOT a social status lol. Tanks are leaders because they are the ones doing the pulling. That's non negotiable. It's the pulling that defines combat dynamics! And logically, the one defining and implementing strategies leads... As in leader. If you don't get that, then I'm not surprised seeing so many pugs going wrong full of people thinking they got it all worked out, each interfering defeating the purpose and screwing things up making the process a tedious annoying one. Like I said though, not all tanks are experienced and it goes a long way sharing your informed knowledge kindly; but if they look like knowing their craft, let them dictate how encounters start and develop, however knowledgeable you are and frustrating their ways are to you. Else, log your own tank and enjoy others do that to you
  11. If the tank knows his / her stuff, the tank decide strategies. full stop. Yeah, rly. That means however frustrating to you, he / she sets the pace, chooses what to pull, how to pull and where to pull. And he / she'll guard or not the healer or top threat. You disagree? Want to implement different strategies? Roll a tank or log one. Group dynamics are important. To each their role. The tank decides how to tackle mobs; if they know their job and players respect their decisions, stuff dies fast. Don't force him / her to have to worry about you because you wanna show you know better. Play ball with them. Leadership is part of the fun tanking. Take that away and you literally insult the tank's intelligence. Disrespecting someone's vision is obviously infuriating and just overall counter productive. That said, players should always feel free to make suggestions or teach tricks to help tanks beginners. A kind word presented with respect goes a long way. However if he / she knows their stuff, let them lead. Happy hunting ps. rule of thumb when there's many mobs and the tank can't pick them all, dps should ALWAYS dps those targeting healers and weak ones first !
  12. @ AscendingSky, LD_Little_Dragon_etc... Feel free to disagree or feel offended that I am still at it, but to me, voicing differently on 2 separate occasions how strongly I feel about an issue isn't unreasonable. It's called persistence which to those who don't normally give up after one try, is considered a quality. There, now I'll leave you to lurking SWTOR forums looking for opportunities to QQ.
  13. The 2nd time players decline flashpoints within an hour, penalise legacy wide severely locking them out of ALL group activities for say at least an hour. As it stands players are abusing the too lenient system and other's time too often (especially Republic side). Same players in the same pop up window declining successively 3 or 4 times should not happen. If you don't want to group with certain players, put them on your ignore list.
