  1. Oh you laughed at the part where they said you could LoS ravage too? Boy, if you're dumb enough to ravage someone next to a pillar and compare it to a ranged ability I don't really know what to say. But I'm talking about marauders here so it's expected.
  2. You or your team has been doing it wrong then. Get someone to pass the ball near the fire pits, force speed through (If you Force Speed as you fall you have a good chance of having your character position bug out for everyone else too, shows you where you landed for a few seconds before it finally corrects itself to your current position) before fires activate and use Force Shroud to give a big middle finger to any pulls, knockbacks or stuns and get an easy touchdown. As for commandos, if you aren't pushing the ball carrier and his group off catwalks or into fires when you aren't helping control the middle you are doing it wrong.

  5. Still haven't had my WoW account hacked. Its typically an issue of staying away from certain sites in my experience :x I still get random " your wow account is in danger of being suspended!" emails when there's really no issue going on so I can see how a lot of people might fall for it, but I never click anything in an email unless someone I know sent me anything.

  7. You know you can build stacks while out of combat now with explosive surge not needing to hit targets right? You won't always get to 5 stacks before another wave of enemies but hitting it once or twice on the way to a turret conservatively greatly reduces your build up time for burst. And once PC gets it's 70% snare it won't be so much of an issue to keep enemies in it.
  8. I'd think the quality of the game rather than the quality of vanity items would come first though. But maybe I'm just crazy.
  9. Even having a security key that a friend got me myself I don't agree with the mindset that people who buy more crap ( CE and security keys ) should have more goodies than others. I still remember a couple of threads of angry CE owners when they found out most of the stuff wasn't that unique. It's pretty sad.

Was competing with a fellow assault vanguard the other night in a Ops, we were both within 1-2% of each other the whole time for the most part, with him maybe edging me that % most of the night. They're both pretty even it feels like but I wouldn't make it official until I had a chance to play other vanguards.
  11. It's still a list of priorities. Is Stockstrike off cooldown? if so use Stockstrike. And so on down the line of ammo efficient attacks. Not advocating taking FA off any bars, but it's certainly not ammo efficient if you're getting hit. It's great for when Gharj is stomping his feet at the platform you just left and etc. though. Or you need to move out of something and still hit a boss. It's just much more difficult for tanks to pull off.
  12. After trying out a non HiB rotation I found it's pretty close in damage to if you were using Gut and HiB. Did a couple of one and a half minute parses with just standard priorities rotation using Gut+ HiB and without, Gut parses came out on top typically but only around 5-7k out of 100,000 ish. Just did rotational stuff, didn't use sticky past the 10m mark nor mortar since I don't really count on PG staying the way it is. Also done in full Battlemaster gear so there's no 4 set bonus in HiB's favor. Also used a warzone training dummy for the parses. Typical damage ranges, non crit to crit between the 3 abilities: Ion Pulse 1100-2300 range Gut 2000-3000 depending on crits. HiB 2450-2700 since you should only use it on crits. Gut's pretty ammo efficient and reliable if you don't clip it. And I don't see how HiB is bad if you aren't firing before auto crits. I can see HiB being pretty bad against tank specs of course and Gut being clipped on particularly annoying classes, but from a strictly damage PoV it works out well. There is always the point of delaying fully stacked PG cannons though I suppose. Either way they both worked out pretty evenly, to each their own.

Really though it comes down to 10 seconds off Cryo (17%ish reduction), Power Armor (2% less damage taken), and Frontline Defense (2 secs off Riot, the only talent I miss not taking on the way up). Serrated Blades is... Serrated Blades, it's not great but it opens up our slow and Combat Tactics procs fairly often now, especially if you have another target DoTed aside from your main target. I do wish the slow was 9 or even 8 seconds long but I'll still take what I can get compared to Tactics before the changes. It wouldn't be so much of an issue if PG actually slowed by 70% at 5 stacks.   14. Honestly I think people are just not paying enough attention, like with the ones complaining about mortar volley. They don't see one big hit but a few small ones and oh noes, the ability is broken.
  15. Managed to severely punish healers who stand in it trying to keep themselves or a friend up, or coming up on people all trying to cap a turret in Novare. Might be a you issue, I've had it hit as high as 1300 a tick on people with crits and adrenal/trinket up.
