  1. Yes, I am a Jedi Battlemaster, traveling the galaxy with my Padawan to bring an end to the Sith Empire. Oh wait, Kira can do that on her own. Before Companions were our little side kicks. Now it's the other way around. It's like beeing Hawkeye or Black Widow in the Avengers. I'm not opposed to companions becoming a bit stronger compared to 3.x. I'm sure you could cut all their numbers in half and they would still be strong enough.
  2. First ability should have 30 meters range and is a gap closer at least for Kira it is. Although with very bugged animation or missing animation. She waves her lightsaber then suddenly teleports to the enemys, very weird.
  3. Considering how Gear/Weapons are purely cosmetic now they shouldn't have any impact on the strength at all. But yeah, that's what I mean. I have 6.6k HP and Kira has this 3s channeled heal for 2.3k HP. For what kind of content or player were these companions designed for?
  4. Ok, so what the hell is wrong with companions. I'm lvl 33 on Alderaan and Kira has 14k to 16k HP depending in which mode I put her. In tank stance she is invincible. In heal stance I'm invincible. In damage stance she makes short work of everything and can even take a beating thanks to that insane HP pool. Kira is like 10 levels higher than me. I don't know, I may try soloing a world boss this evening. Is this working as intended or is this a bug?
  5. Now that Powertechs weapon got completly made irrelevant outside of auto attack, cutscenes and one Tank-Spec ability. I'd rather have a wrist blaster to further the "my Armor is my" weapon style of the Powertech.
  6. Can we have a wristblaster for Powertechs now, so that we actually only fight with our armor? We could even get a new ability that some enemys already have called "Wrist blaster burst" or something. Vanguards could get an actual Arcthrower or a grenade launcher.
  7. The title says it all. I guess many people are not satisfied with certain ability animations or would like different ones that change the theme of a character. Obviously, opinions are different and I'm not one to argue personal taste. The solution I suggest would leave everyone happy. So first some suggestions for alternative ability animations: Dark/Light Side Abilities for Jedis/Siths: Currently many Jedi Abilities are tinted with some blue "light side" hue. I think a set that changes the blue to a red or reddish hue and adds some crackling lightning to represent that your Jedi has fallen to the Dark Side would be very nice and well liked by the community. The same goes for the other side. I guess light side Sorcerers and Warriors would love to have the ability to represent their alignment in their ability animations too. For example, Sorcerer Lightning attacks could be tinted white-blue, closer to the Vanguard Attacks, instead of white-purple. Force Quake -> "Project Barrage": Instead of shaking the ground, the Sage pulls debris out of the ground and bombards the targeted area. Think the new "Cascading Debris" ability form Shadow Tanks, but instead of pulling the objects close to the enemy out of the ground, you pull them from near you. Like the old Project New Project -> Old Project: I don't like the "new" Project that much. I liked it much more when my Sage actually threw stuff at my enemies. Grav Round -> anything really: Grav Round is the reason I don't ever touch the Gunnery Spec of my Commando. I don't really like the look of the ability and the sound is really underwhelming. A lot of different things could be done here. "Sundering Shots" that would look like the Smugglers Charged Burst or something named Ion Bolt that would be inspired by the Commando's Concussive Round which just looks awesome. Full Auto -> Laser beam: Many enemies attack you with a laserbeam like attack. Having something similar would be nice Explosive Surge -> Static Discharge: Instead of exploding the Trooper creates an electric discharge. Considering how many Vanguard Abilities are centered around electric attacks it would fit really well thematically. ... So how will this be implemented? Easy, you purchase the animation from the CM and get a new tab at your trainer that reads "CM Abilities" there you can train these abilities with the alternative animations. A bit like it is now already with the replacement abilities, with the exception that the CM abilities would always be on the same level as the ability it's supposed to replace. It would mean that players can mix and match as they desire. What about PVP: To keep things from becoming confusing, these replacement abilities should propably be restricted to PVE and could simply not be used in PVP.
  8. Nah, I don't want a Blaster Rifle for Powertechs. I want a third AC that either utilizes a Blaster Rifle or a blaster rifle like alternative. I also want an invisible stat stick for Sorcerers and Sages. And while we're at it and adding third ACs why not a Warrior/Knight AC that get's to use Saberstaffs?
  9. I suspected that the tooltip of Hail of Bolts was bugged, since according to that my Gunslingers AoE blasters hit for more at level 30 than my Mando at 50.
  10. Thing is there is a demand for faster levelling through Story/Planet progression. So yeah I think Bioware should implement some way of earning XP without spamming KDY or doing WZ. I think however that 12x XP is too much though. I could see how something like 6x XP could work. It would allow players to skip some content they don't want to do for whatever reason, without being forced to run KDY or WZs Another thing they could do is redesign all low lvl Flashpoints to be Tactical. Not like KDY, but like Esseles or Black Talon (i.e. with a level requirement). Currently the wait times on anything but KDY are ridiciously long when you're listing yourself as a DPS. I don't know about Healers, since I don't like playing them, but considering how I never have to wait longer than a couple of seconds when I list myself as a tank there are propably more healers than tanks. To elevate the lack of tanks during leveling they could also buff tank leveling. Especially since 3.0 hit with the super strong silvers it can be painful. You know something is wrong when I open a thread asking for some advice regarding Assassin Darkness leveling and among the replies I get told that my first mistake was leveling as a tank.
  11. lol the spinning lightsaber. Bioware needs to stop making these Cybernetic sets, they're not good at it. People would propably love a variation of sets that give you some normal Chestpiece, like a robe, armor, or something like that with a single cybernetic arm. Also, they almost added the first shorts with this set. but they had to include a cybernetic leg. I would love some shorts.
  12. So, I currently level an Assassin in tank spec, mostly for the story, simply because it let's me run Flashpoints whenever I like it. I already levelled the other two tank classes up to around 50 (finished story) and didn't have much trouble. Now with the Assassin I'm currently on Tatooine at level 30 and while I don't exactly struggle to do the content I have considerable downtime between each encounter, especially with silver enemies. A single silver plus one or two normals easily drop me to 50 to 60% HP. I never got so low on my Guardian or Bounty Hunter except when I soloed some heroic content or sometimes on the later planets (Hoth, etc.) I'm currently using Andronikus due to story reasons and higher damage. Now the thing is, when I change AC to Hatred I end up with the same or even more HP in comparable encounters even when I'm not using Khem Val and tank myself. (Deception is usually worse without Khem) Shouldn't i receive considerable less damage as a tank? And before someone asks, yes Dark Ward is allways active, although i'm questioning why it isn't some form of passive. Yes Wither and Discharge are on CD and I'm in tank stance. The problem also exists in Flashpoints, without a decent healer I drop really low on some of the fights. So what is it? Am I just bad? Are the other tank classes are just that much superior?
  13. I support this idea so much. I would love a deactivated lightsaber stance for Sages/Sorcerers who don't use them anyways.
  14. When I leveled my Slinger there was this one guy on Corouscant asking for people to help him create a guild. I was all like, sure why not. He asked if we had any suggestions for Guild Names and I started to drop some funny ones as a joke. Things like "DefinetlyNotAGuild" and other stuff I don't remember anymore. Funny thing the guy asking was totally on board with it, especially the "DefinetlyNotAGuild" thing. I left his group, telling him that I wanted to run a heroic, but would be available after I had finished it. Instead I got my friends from our Imperial Guild and created said "DefinetlyNotAGuild". I then joined back to his group and told him that I'm sorry and I couldn't join cause I was definetly not in a guild and walked in on the poor guy where he could see my Guild Tag. I would've offered him to join, but he was raging so hard I just put him on ignore after a while.
  15. Only thing I miss are some of the class specific stuff in Character creation. Like the Bounty Hunter, Sith and Trooper Tattoos for humans or the special Inquisitor Scars. Would love if those could be unlocked for other classes as well.
