  1. Fix the NEED/GREED system so that it can be utilized the way it was intended to be used. When everybody Needs on a lesser geared drop than what they already have in order to gear an alt or a companion seems to completely refute the idea of an honor system that can be utilized for actual toons that roll the desired toon through the op that has the drop they are looking for. When everybody is needing on high value/low drop rate items, the idea of need/greed becomes useless to those toons that really need the item they rolled the toon for. If this seems worded wrong please advise and I will try to correct what I think is worded wrong. right now, it takes that run on sentence to satisfy my frustration and intent of what I think I am trying to get across. The system is broken and needs updating. We used to kick people for these practices but somehow they have become the norm...This is self defeating in itself and needs addressing. Thanks for the attention (If any) from the dev's that this might draw. If any destructive criticism...then you are the issue as to why the system has failed. Look at this from a 16M TC HM Point of view or a SnV HM Run at the warlords for the 168 MH drop. It is needed on by 180 geared toons because the 168 mod is appareenty BiS. The toons that actually need this drop to upgrade their 162 weapons MH can't get a fair shot at it because the 180's are all needing on the thing for the BiS mods or for comps/alts. TC is one fight for a bail at the end...I can ask if the winner is nice enough to let me upgrade my weapon when his/her toon has a 180 mh slotted and I get told that I whine too much or to piss off and I get ignored for defining Need/Greed ethics. The system is broken and needs to be adjusted somehow.
  2. Find a guild of players would have only been playing as long as you have, and maybe they'll be going to through the same content you are wanting to run....I am a founder but was forced to take a break due to family issues. Even established guilds will run older Ops on alts, so my theory is your guild just doesn't want to. Find a new one, or plan with your current guild to run it at a certain day and time. Don't expect to just login and find an ops group to run RIGHT NOW....Most guilds stopped running this because they got burned out when it was end game content. I never expected to login and start an op...it takes preparation and proper vetting to get an op going but I will say that a lot of people want to join a pre-formed op and will leave groups if not started within 20 minutes...this by itself makes forming this op a nightmare having to fill holes that were filled because I missed some imagined 20 minute launch window. These are not suggestions that get this op running for the semi-casual player...casual players will never get into these ops because they take to long to form. Try to form a SnV HM op...after an hour form up, it is next to impossible to get any group past the weekly and I have tried 4 times in the past 2 weeks on 4 different toons. It is too easy to say I quit after getting the weekly done. Haven't even attempted TFB yet but I expect it will be the same issue...The weeklies are misplaced right in the middle of the op. Achievements are worthless because nobody works those either. No incentive
  3. One? Learn how to type because you need to space things out into separate paragraphs for punctuation. Nobody likes reading a solid wall of text....My typing is ok the way it is...thanx for the input Two? It won't happen. They're old school content, they're not going to be turned into an event like the Gree because it takes too much time and money, and it would be unpopular with the broader player base....It already is unpopular with the player base that's why I am posting this Finding ops groups for old school runs isn't necessarly hard, but you just need to either be in the right guild or pay attention to fleet chat and watch for when people are forming pug groups to run it...."Almost all" Guilds stopped running this long ago and I am the only one trying to run this on the harbinger server...A year ago...this would have been true but I wasn't running this a year ago so now I am left with a dilemma of trying to run a very very unpopular op that takes a minimum of 3 hours to populate at any time of day.
  4. I have posted in the forums the issues about explosive conflict and the severe need for re-adjustment. Please look at this issue soon. The weeklies for SnV and TFB are also misplaced. Any new toons hitting level requirements for these ops almost need to beg everybody to work these ops in their present configuration. EC needs to be placed into an event status op because the elite players absolutely will not touch it anymore. Turn it into a gree like event and let the need stack up so the vehicle quests and achievements can be worked WITH those that can teach the op. Another option is to make it mandatory to work 2 ops for the coveted comms (EV/EC or KP/EC).There are those that will completely stop running the old ops but there also those that will stay in the mix and run both. Adjust the comms rewards to make it worthwhile but at least you somewhat get EC going again. I have watched the chats sessions for Denova over the past 2 days and it is the one chat environment that is zero population at all times...Can't even ask to fill a dropped hole cause there is nobody in there at all. My toons have probably reached capacity on fleet ignore's and now my fp q's are severly long. Fix these issues please. Try not to introduce new content without obsoleting old content. I know with a little bit of brainstorming that this can be done...you all are programmers and not anticipating these shortfalls makes me not want to give your company any more of my money...It is too frustrating to not be able to do something because you gave the elites an easy way out. make it hard on them so new rolls can also work old content!!!@!@!!Q@
  5. Due to the lack of interest in this op...I would like to suggest that it be turned into an event op like other events that are worked periodically (Like the gree event). There is not enough interest in this operation to form an ops group in anything that could be considered timely. All toons would rather work the easier EV op for the 12 comms and move on rather than risk their credits on wipe after wipe after wipe. Turn it into an event. up the rewards, and let interest build over time. At least that way there is an option for those that want to work their achievements to be able to work them and in a more scheduled manner. Just give me and others the option to rather than the current 3-4 hours ops form or nvr do it to begin with. It's an ignored op as it stand right now and some kind of adjustment is required to get some (not all) of the elites back into the op so new toons can have a shot at working it. It takes a good couple of weeks to completely learn for the casual player and right now, those that have learned it will almost never go back into it with new rolls. Thanx for the attention this might be given...See ya in the game
  6. I am a frustrated player that is attempting to run an op that is apparently obsolete. If there is any interest in running this op on the Harbinger server with allowable tolerances for wipes without giving up at the first fail please post you in game toons name that would like to run it and if I can manage to put together an op at a scheduled date and time in the near future...I will do my very best to do so. The op has various rewards attached to it that can be accomplished together in one run(the initial quest, achievements, vehicles, and of course the coveted loot drops for companion customization and the vehicle). If interested....let me know. I am through trying to form these in game. Faction can be either side but would prefer Imps side since I have one more Imp toon that needs the HM vehicle quest. Time and date to be determined depending on interest. Inform your friends and I will organize best I can. Sometime within the next 30 days would be awesome. Need the following (with posts below) Tank: Tank: Heals: Heals: Heals: Heals: 7 DPS
  7. Explosive Conflict should be totally removed from the game. As it stands, it is an op that is planted between Karagga's palace and SnV that is impossible to recruit for or takes 2 - 3 hours to populate a 16M HM run. I have tried this 4 times and all have ended in disaster. That recruitment process has got me added to over 100 peeps ignore list which now makes doing flashpoints all that much harder for me as new flashpoints are introduced. Few guilds run this op due to the mechanics involved with each boss and most fleet members logged at the time of my population attempt tell me to stop filling their chat window up with a useless op...The devs can go back and check the chat logs and verify this process...While you are at it...please inform those members that have ignored me, that I was only trying to get an achievement done and was not spamming the chat window trying to form these groups. I do like TACeMossie's idea. Give the elite players a reason to go back and want to run the op so the new players can try to learn it. It is boxed in between easy comms runs(EV/KP) and gear runs(SnV)...Unbox it and incentivize it. Khever...I got added to that many ignore lists because they got tired of me asking for help in the op for 3 days straight...Supposedly...LFG repeatedly for 3 hours each time I tried (3 times per day) over 3 days to finally get a pug together to complete the op is what so many people actually found annoying. They never offered to help and decided that chastising me was the better option. I submitted a harassment report to BW and am hopeful that something will come of it...Nobody should have to endure that amount of player harassment simply because they are trying to populate an ops grp to work a vehicle quest or achievement!!!
