Going Medic Operative isn't that bad. I've a 40 medic/operative and I handle things just fine. It's not like it's impossible to do a medic right. It just comes down to energy management and understanding how the heals work off each other. And once you get surgical probe it becomes fairly simple to keep people alive. It's not that complicated once you get the hang of TA and how to trigger it. It's about energy management, energy management, energy management. Also, be prepared not to be dealing damage during FPs or Heroics. you let others do that and you keep them alive. It's fun, actually, at least for me.

I'm a medic and I used Kaliyo primarily because she's a decent tank. I'm lvl 40 on a PVE server and she's been able to basically take all damage and my heals keep up with her. Elites are no problem though it can be grind. I like Temple and Vector but I've never used Lokin for anything other than crafting.

Is there a respec option built into the game for talent points? I totally botched my healer build and need to "reallocate" my talent skills.

As an Imperial Operative I view my role as one of immense power. She has tons of dirt, secrets, and other information that the Sith would loathe to let out into the public. It gives her a huge upperhand when negotiating with the Sith or dealing with missions from various sources. She's the reason the Sith Empire thrives. Plus, the Sith Marauders/Juggernauts/Assassins would fail miserably without her adroit healing skills on various missions.

It is especially disappointing to not be able, from a practical perspective, play the characters I started on the first day of early access because of the server queue. I'd transfer them in a heartbeat to a less populated server if possible. Really too bad and there should a way to quickly address the issue. That being said, this is a great game when I have the chance to actually play the characters I've started.
