In MMO's gear plays a significant role on how good a character is. If one does not care about aquiring proper gear, or does not care how to make his gear more powerfull, he IS a bad player, and he should not be playing a game with mmorpg mechanics. I'm not in favour of unlimited grinding mechanics, but here in SWTOR, getting full partisan gear requires 1 week for casual players if they start lvl 55 with 0 comms. For a semi hardcore player the 'grinding' takes no more than 2/3 days... So we are stuck with this bolster crap, because some people do not have that one week to spend and improve their characters?! WHY?! Players that log in 3 hours per week, should not be on par with others that play on regular basis! If you do not care about gear, and you only care about skill, MMORPG isn't the game you're looking for. Try a FPS game... Anyways.. if bolster stays as it is, BW will lose even more of their pvp subscribers, that subscribe and play on regular basis, (since they clearly want to lure only casual free players), and this game will die even faster than what it was meant to. I will be taking a break for as long bolster stays. I won't renew my subscription, unless I see a change to bolster, that actually rewards PvP'ers. Cyas all and good luck.

Oh, you mean like before 2.0 when half the server (every server) played a PT because it was easymode and overpowered to the point everyone could play it pretty much to max potential? Lol... Where are all those awesome players named OPFOTMPT and such now? Oh yes they attempted to play a sniper and got litterally facerolled, because sniper actually requires some player skill to perform well. Exploiting class ballance... comes from PT's... Just lol.

I actually play an assassin. I pwned PT's before, I pwn them now. But its always nice to see an easymoding facerolling class, a monkey can play (yes like smashers as you mentioned), get a very well deserved nerf. Continue crying little PT's, This thread is AWESOME!

Does ignore list work when it comes to WZ's? Meaning if someone is in your ignore list, can they still play in your team/enemy team in Warzones? Too lazy to search if it has been mentioned before!

Having other 3 friends to play with in PvP is fine. It is an MMO after all. What's annoying is hardcore PvP guilds queue'ing with 4, while being in vent/TS, facerolling the enemy team that's full of pugs. But then again how many serious hardcore PvP guilds exist per server that are queue'ing regularly normal WZ's for the only reason of facerolling. I play on ToFN and in 55 pvp there are only 2 or 3 guilds that queue'ing normal WZ's on regular basis, while being fully organized and stuff, just to faceroll pugs. You always have the option of 'leave warzone'... It will 'cost' you 1-2 minutes untill the next WZ pop up... WHat's all the fuzz and drama about? Oh da forums!

Months? o_0 Logging in for 3 hours each month? 3 hours per day and in less than a week you'll have full partisan. With the change expertise got, you will be able to massacre people wearing pve gear while not in WZ's. We're talking about 13k mauls and 10k assassinates... Edit: Unless you got WH set pre 1.7, but still geting partisan = less than a week.

Was playing lotro for 3 years, but it sucks big time now . Will stick to SWTOR untill ESO comes out. Hopefully ESO will be the game I'm looking for, with open world pvp that supports all kinds of playstyles (solo,small group,big groups, massive raids) At least it looks very promising, and i have some background on elder scrolls games
