  1. yeah, tough i'm comparing two stealth classes, and one of them happens to be the only melee without some sort of reset or reduce its cd significantly (not that lame 10s excuse of reduction ¬¬)
  2. Now, before you guys start cursing me, at least hear me out. We all know this game have turned into a grind fiesta, with like 300 command levels dailies play no small part on our activities. The first time for each daily on the week we get to do the bonus, which usually involve killing a bunch of extra mobs, so stealth doesn't make THAT much of a difference. But for the other 6 day on the week, boy do stealth speed things up, holly ****. It is SO much fast to do dailies on a shadow/scoundrel than it is on any other class, it is not even fair to compare. We can skip so much annoying mobs.. But hey, stealth is a core aspect of said classes, so it is strange to just give this to every class, and i AGREE. So, what do i propose? well, i thought of two possible solutions: Ideally: we get to purchase a legacy "stealth belt" kind of like rocket boots, we can use it open world, but not in war-zones, (also i think it should be limited for ops and hm/nim and whatever, ANYTHING related to endgame content should remain for scoundrel/shadow to be the stealth class), the stealth level would be capped at a level that is inferior to those of shadows/scoundrels, i think 4, but not sure. And with a long cd of the toggle ( 90 s), with 3 purchases, finally capping at 30s cd, just like rocket boots. Second Option: give cybertech a craftable "stealth generator", a consumable that put you in stealth mode until any stealth breaking skill is used, stealth level vary with cybertech skill required to craft it. Also, i plead that reusable consumables like those should return, here is a perfect candidate for it . A cd of 30s would be enough i think. Also, it goes without saying, but of course NO COMBAT STEALTH, because, well, i mean.. that would be absurd, never even crossed my mind, but inb4 someone suggest otherwise, just NO. So, what do you guys think? any takers:jawa_confused: edit: spelling, not native, sorry.
  3. this.. i honestly can't stand the whole " your weapon is to identify your class" when we have those icons above our heads.. tough i do have to agree with guys above.. animations would be the real issue... sure, they already have most animations ready, but still, i bet that each ability would behave differently with different weapon equipped, and thus they would have to adapt each skill animation for each weapon available... too much work, and i doubt EA would go for it...
  4. you are not comparing scamper to trick move .. right? i mean.. comparing a 12m roll foward to a 30m targeted blink that can be used in air and even dodge some obstacles... scamper is meh... i'd trade for force speed in a heartbeat... granted it is better than nothing, but still.. i mean, if shadows can have a reset on shadowstride why can't we have the same 10s kill/reset on trick move? it is certainly not asking too much... and would speed up daillys run
  5. it is fair because it costs 500cc like any other weapon on CM, and other weapons, like blasters or sabers have said slots. realism shouldn't be an issue, first because.. you know... lightsabers in essence are really not realistic ¬¬ ( despite our wishes for it to be ), second: have you even looked at the cathar warstaff? it is NOT a normal sword, it has that energy beam running right on the middle of it... if it can have a *********** laser beam on the midle of a sword, why can't it have extra glow, lightning, dripping aids/siffilis or whatever onto it? ¬¬
  6. i know that none electrostaff has weapon tunning slot, but since cathar warstaff is a CM item, and not cheaper than any other weapon in there, it is only fair that it gets a tunning slot...
  7. it is so easy to blaze trough mobs on dailies on a guardian, with reset on force leap, or a trooper, with double blitz, or even shadow with their 10s kill-reset on shadow stride... we should have something along these lines.. 35s cd is too damm long for a gap closer on a melee class.
  8. it would never happen.. that said, i would kill for unarmed combat in my scoundrel.. i mean, i can already effectively never use my pistol ( except for vital shot) in scrapper spec, might as well allow us to equip some vibro gauntlets ( zayne carrick style) and go to town punching siths with the ocasional shotgun to the face.
  9. this saber is gorgeous, but it clips a lot on robes, also it is quite big to be sheathed on the hip. smaller sabers than this one can be sheathed on the back, so that would be a nice touch.
  10. but their stealth doesn't break agro... my use for stealth is skipping those pesky mobs that sometimes i simply don't want to fight... for pvp camouflage is effective as a stealth, pve not so much tough. thanks for the reply guys, think i'll give it a shot with a assassin, since is the only force user class that i haven't completed the main storyline yet.
  11. they are not. either bare hands and silly whacking with your scatter-gun via scrapper or just going pew pew and using your shotgun properly with ruffian, but scrapper dps is easier to set up.. op's knife animation is repetitive, but so is punching....
  12. just leaving this suggestion here for some QoL changes for scoundrel/ops make bushwhack spread vital shots, the range is pretty big but as it requires upper hand it is far balanced... specially when compared to balance/hatred dot spreading skill. edit: I'm an imbecile, trick move is already usable against enemies ¬¬ what do you guys think?
  13. stealth is always usefull IMO, makes some fp easier, thus i would roll with shadow.
  14. i like the play-style of the shadow, really, love balance spec, all the tools and all that.. that said, i HATE the VO, he sounds like a douche-bag every time he open his damn mouth. also doublebladed lightsaber in this game are ugly and impractical as hell ( that is more or less covered by the release of those pikes tough..) i LOVE the VO on scoundrel, his smart-*** humor always get me, but his animations are ******... they should have left his humor on his VO only, i feel silly whacking someone with my *********** shotgun instead of.. you know.. SHOOTING. I like the sentinel's choice of weapon, especially now that i get to wear 2 shotos, but damm, stealth makes such a HUGE difference for me... also, his VO is kinda lame, better than consular tho.. what to do... who to main as my outlander? returning player here, played from launch till makeb, first time trying this new expansion.. any suggestions?
  15. make it so that ruffian scoundrels spread their dots trough frag granade instead lacerating blast/noxious knives, they have a ****** hitbox. playing a balance shadow make me realize how easy is to spread my dots trough spining strike... thank you
