  1. My comment was really just pointing out that there are some bits of character animation that are now so overused that it just gets irritating to see yet another person you are interacting with make the same move you've seen so many times before. I just think it's about time the devs added some new moves to the library.
  2. Is there any other way for someone to end a conversation other than stepping one pace back and then turning to walk away?. I mean I realise that it's necessary to reuse particular gestures, but it seems like everyone does this all the time.
  3. My problem with a lot of the female armour is that it just doesn't seem to be designed for a woman to wear. Either it's a duplicate of the male armour or it has the lower half of the chest armour removed. Neither seem to be actually cut the way clothes for women are styled in the real world. And then there's the outfits that are bare chest for men, where the female version gets a **** band. I mean it doesn't even look like a bikini top or anything, it's just a strip of colour. If they are going to make so lazy about it, why even produce a female version?* I like to play some characters as extrovert, others as conservative. But whether they are showing some skin, or armoured from the neck down, I'd like some style to it. It would also be nice if anything remotely revealing wasn't only available very expensively on the GTN. *Answer: because even something so half-assed sells.
  4. Since we got a hair colour pack of non-natural hair colours I've been waiting to see it expanded a little. I'd love to be able to use the Chiss bubblegum pink hair on non-Chiss. I hadn't realised quite how Barbie-pink it was until I was messing around with the face changer in the cartel market the other day. It's fantastic. Of course I had to get the pigtails hairstyle to go with it.
  5. +1 to this idea. The Satele Shan boots are currently selling at 70 million on TRE. It's ridiculous. There are other female specific outfits that are also going at over 50 million for a particular piece, making them impossible to unlock in collections, even if other pieces are quite reasonable. Bioware aren't just leaving money on the table, they're handing it over to the cash sellers. And on the subject of female specific armour, it would be nice if the female version of some unisex outfits were tailored to be a bit more styled in the way that clothes are for women. Some of them are almost quite nice, but look just like a tighter version of the male outfit, rather than one that is actually intended for women to wear. I mean take a look at the difference between the cut of a T-shirt designed for men and one designed for women. It's basically the same garment, but you can tell the difference immediately, even if they are nominally the same size.
  6. Travelling to Belsavis from the fleet I noticed that the fleet was still visible in my view screen. Even though I could travel down to the planet my ship still thought it was at the fleet and so would not trigger the holoviewer cutscene needed to progress the story. I fixed it by travelling to a different planet and then back to Belsavis, which then showed the correct planet in view and allowed the holo scene to progress.
  7. I'd go with trooper. It's the most fun Republic ranged DPS.
  8. Well that's kind of a mean thing to say to people you are asking for help. Also dumb. Plenty of people would be happy to help. We all miss stuff now and again, so it's pointless to keep banging your head against the same brick wall when help is readily available.
  9. Yes, we all pay a subcription to play but why should you special snowflakes get access to parts of the game that were only unlockable before you even started playing? Only special snowflakes like us should get those benefits. /sarcasm
  10. Over the last month or so I've taken the opportunity to run through a bunch of classes I never got around to before, and I was wondering if there would be much overlap between the various class stories, since they do cover the same planets in mostly the same order. I was surprised. There was overlap, but not in the way i was expecting. I mean there's virtually no overlap of characters, and where there is... I mean the operative's boss, Keeper, shows up in the (I think) Smuggler storyline, where you kill him. Which doesn't stop him continuing to live and in fact get promoted in the Operative story. Why even use him instead of an unrelated character if it was going to directly contradict the other story? Otherwise it's largely a matter of reusing the same locations to eccess. I've now been to the Star of Coruscent five times on five entirely unrelated and sometimes contradictory missions. Some planets give more variety, but there are some where you know you are always going to end up, regardless of the story you are in. Would it really be that difficult to send you to different crashed spaceship locations, even if the internal structure is the same? It seems a waste of all the fantastically well done world design to only use the same bits all the time. That's my observations, anyway.
  11. I agree. More skin colours please! I was actually thinking I'd like a proper green colour, but purple would be good too. Twi'lek is the first race i unlocked and my favourite race to play, so I'd love to see more variations available. Colours are an obvious easy addition, but more headband choices would also be great. And it would be so nice if we had an option for alternate lekku positioning. I realise this is more complex to do, but it's not like the standard positioning doesn't clip every back-mounted weapon.
  12. There isn't even a 4.0 guide for any type of operative. I've been looking around for some basic info as I'm just starting an operative and I haven't been able to find anything.
  13. Useful information, but not exactly Sorcerer 101. I've been trying to find out what stats to prioritise when getting mods and it's surprisingly difficult to find. And please, don't link me to a page that lists the best armor for endgame or some other massively complicated thing. I haven't finished class story yet and I just want to know which mods to buy from the vender for my level.
  14. Ultimately I made it up to 208 simply exploring the landscape and looking for a good scavenging spot. I'm a little disappointed as I'd have liked to have found a suitable spot to add to the list, but at 208 I'm high enough for Taris, so it's back to missions and scavenging as I go.
