  1. weak answer. Why would a player purposely que for, what is considered end game pvp. When he or she will ultimately be at a major disadvantage? Its selfish decision and its only because they dont care about the result just the daily/weekly impact for gear gain. pvp should never be an option for gear gathering, There needs to be an entry level to ensure ALL players can enjoy it and compete.
  2. absolutely agree., The main reason i cancelled my sub. Major flaw in swtor pvp, especially when it came to ranked pvp and rating based on results.
  3. stupid question, but will the 64 bit client be auto applied? or do i need to change it to access the 64 bit client somewhere?
  4. The problem is the tools available. It’s encouraging single minded players to re-roll and re-spec. Currently madness can keep any melee at arms length with minimal effort and it can counter every range class with it’s self heals. a weak player, who plays madness can compete with a high skilled player of most specs. most who currently play madness do it for its ability to rely on itself. So don’t expect any support, any heals or peels. Not like old school specs. They’re only interested in self glory. That’s why they play the class. every era has had its fotm. Smash, Pyro, Arsenal, concealment and now madness. but none of these previous fotm have had so many tools, it’s outrageous
  5. I completely agree, solo que should be a solo mode only. Whilst there should be the option to que into a more competitive solo/group que combo
  6. its an MMO, find some friends? I might be being a dinosaur, but i come from an era of MMO's where you played with like minded players. I started swtor back when it opened after SWG shut down and there were guilds of 50+ focused pvpers. So ive never encountered this issue, A lot of people left, i made new friends. There no difference now. If your unable to find a common ground and communicate with like minded players, (by reading your post, im not surpised) Then, its a path you have chosen, deal with it,
  7. I didn’t mention anything about skill or gear equating to ability. Even the very best players, would not be able to contribute effectively in 4v4 or competitive 8v8 warzones with green/blue 300-330 gear. Also, forcing low irating to bump stats was effective in 7.1. It no longer has the desired impact. Trust me I theory craft everything
  8. Players who have gear scores of <330 will no way have enough game time to understand the basics of pvp. There needs to be some form of introductory quest line that’s rewards gear, tacticals and augments. That allows players to have an entry level of gear and knowledge, making them accountable in group pvp. Please stop alienating pvpers, by forcing us to participate with those who simply haven’t had the same investment as we. PvP should not be used as a stepping stone for gearing. My suggestion is a bracket for fresh level 80 players A quest line that involves 8v8 and 4v4 participation. Objective, damage , healing, guarding and winning milestones. The reward is a decent 330 grade set with purple augments and a tactical of choice. Similar to recruit gear back in the day. Once the gear score is reached, the quest is complete, you can then que for the usual warzones.
  9. Choosing your own mods and enhancements is always going to be better, as you can chose your build directly. The pvp sets are better than the pve rakata sets at 332, they give you more power/mastery rather than endurance. but The Hyde quest mods give you the same, but you chose the build. High alacrity, high Crit. Whatever you want
  10. A more sandbox approach to gearing is always better. Everyone aims to improve gear score that’s fine. But I want to be unique. please consider re-implementing amplifiers so I can tune my own play style. just add amplifiers to armorings, no rolls just an option to chose what one you want. dot potency, tech wizardry etc etc
  11. What an absolute load of care bear rubbish. You say “remove competition” . I’ve been playing mmo’s for twenty years and without doubt, it’s competition between players in both pvp and pve. That’s what keep mmos alive. character development and players development are the lifeblood of mmos. You want to remove that, you may as well make this a single player game. I say increase competition, increase rewards for objective play. Same rewards for participating BETTER rewards for winning. you constantly dribble in your posts how BW will encourage positive play by removing competitive pvp. I say, push overs like you are encouraging a low population and will be the demise of this game if you continue to spout such utter BS
  12. https://imgur.com/a/667IZ1s I have this, its from the achievement 1,000 warzone matches i completed back in 2013. https://imgur.com/a/j2nGpkD Although ive only notice the title active this week, id urge others to check
  13. Elitism exists in every element of this game. Why don’t you try and join an Nim r4 team and see if they have some specific pre-requisites for you. You can roll around with low standards, completing things as you wish. But the game has difficulty levels and therefore your skill level will hold some accountability in groups at some point. Don’t be offended
  14. These changes are both positive and negative. Pvp seasons are a nice way to be improve participation in pvp. There’s no doubt people are trying harder to win in 8v8s. However, my elite-toxic behaviour has got worse because I have no where to que with like minded focused pvpers. Players who understand BiS, resolve, line of sight, forcing breakers etc etc. They could of added all the new changes to 7.2 without removing ranked ques. Just improve the reward rate, add a minimum gear rating of 332 to enter and let people use flags.
  15. Farming people like is not a waste of time, it’s an endless reward. Your post is like the little golden nugget we play for.
