  1. Chrome, I've always been using it. Never had issues cancelling other subscriptions.
  2. I'm not a retard. I've sent them screenshots and they've told me to clear my cache, change browser, try at a friends house etc. It just wasn't there. I even removed my CC information and they kept billing me. But clicking the link in this thread brought me directly to the cancel subscription page. Which their own support even failed to figure out. It's disgraceful.
  3. I couldn't find it either. I even had to spend money and time to call their support in the states because the EU support couldn't help me. And even they failed to assist me. There is no Cancel button ANYWHERE in my account options. I had to follow the link above (first one) to actually cancel it after 3 months of paying for the game that i don't even play. It's shameful. I will never return to this game again, I'm sorely disappointed.
  4. Leveled an operative healer to 55 recently and i have to say it wasn't THAT bad. My biggest issue was cocky DPS who thought they were PvPLoRdXxXxXEU and kept rushing ahead of the tank to pull. And then when you asked them to slow down they'd reply "l2p" and vote kick you.
  5. Some of these replies are either extremely trollish or just plain rude. I think a lot of you people severely underestimate the PvP players in this game. You assume that every single game is full of complete newbies, it's not. I'll admit, I'm not a PvP expert. Obviously. Neither do i have rank 100 or all the gear, that was clarified in the first post. And i can hold my own in a 1 on 1, but eventually i lose, every single time. I've tried playing as Concealment, and i definitely have no issues killing healers in a 1on1. The only time i had issues with healers was if they CC me and run away to pick up a heal. Definitely do feel like there is a huge communication problem on the EU servers though. Very, VERY, few players actually speak english. And even less read chat during the games. Also, no, i didn't do any of the buying and selling during leveling up. I don't think a game should require you to such extremes to simply enjoy an aspect of the game. It'd be like forcing people to exploit in PvE to actually progress.
  6. Let me start by saying that i recently got back to the game and decided to give PvP a shot this time around. I leveled an Operative healer from scratch. 1-29 Warzones Very enjoyable! No matter what spec i played, i always had fun. Even at level 10 you still had a chance to contribute in some way. Level 29 players weren't impossible and healing felt pretty balanced. The only downside to this warzone was the lack of PvP gear or any kind of PvP progression. You were basically in the same outfit the entire time. 30-54 Warzones This is where the nightmare began. Not only do you absolutely suck up until 50+, but as a healer you border to zero contribution and appreciation. People take it for granted that you will always be there by their side to heal them. Over 3 weeks of PvP in this bracket and i only ever saw a guard TWICE. When it came to healing, you were very rarely left alone to actually heal. Any DPS focused class could kill me in a matter of seconds, before even had a chance to cast a heal. (And most of my heals are instant) Diminishing returns and CC immunity seem to not even exist here? As you get closer to 50 and eventually beyond that point, it does get a little easier. But it's still very unrewarding to be a healer in this bracket. 55 Warzones This is where i really struggle. No matter what i try, it's just impossible to enjoy. I played 50 games in a row and lost them all. We were constantly matched up against premades in full PvP gear. As a healer in this bracket, unless you are a master of stealth and complete avoidance, there is absolutely no way to survive any kind of damage. If a DPS class wants to kill you, they will. Not to mention, it feels like players in this bracket are less experienced than the previous two? Maybe it's because I'm on a european server heavily infested by russians? No one ever listens or understands how to play. People are always fighting away from objectives and when you ask for help, they very rarely respond. As a HEALER, i am ALWAYS the one defending objectives. And this just feels wrong. I'm usually the only healer in the warzones and I'm forced to afk at the "let them that while we farm them at the middle one" objective. So, how do you guys enjoy this? How do you make it work? Is this "PvP" until you reach highest rank and all the best gear? (No i don't have a guild and there seem to be no active PvP guilds recruiting on the server i play on)
  7. Figured I'd leave my experience here as well. Hopefully the devs have people reading this and can use it as feedback. I'm currently level 40 and I've been Concealment up until now. 1 to 30 was by far the worst, and I've leveled sorc, shadow and mercenary to 50. It's very slow and uneventful. The story is very dry and combat feels awkward. I spent a lot of time healing for dungeons and heroic quests, which also was very boring up until 31+. Healing really took off at 31+ and became a lot of fun. Concealment took off at 36+ when you could open with HS and actually keep TA up the entire fight. I've used Kaliyo up until now when i was able to afford to buy Treek. Treek is definitely worth the money and i wish i had bought him sooner, by far the best companion to have while leveling. I swapped to Lethality at 40 and I'm really enjoying it right now. I feel like Concealment could kill faster if i got a perfect opener, but Lethality manages better in all situations. I tried Lethality at 25-30, and it didn't really work out so well. Overall, i think Operatives are extremely plain and dull up until 31+, sadly. All classes are boring pre 30, but operatives were definitely the worst. (I've leveled all classes to 20+) My biggest issue right now is finding a good way to setup my keybinds and action bars. I feel like there are waaaaaay too many skills to be using in an MMO. I'm currently at 37 keybinds and pretty much run out of space. I feel like i should be removing some skills completely, i just don't know what. Looking forward to end game though, Operative healing is extremely fun, much more so than Sorcerer and Mercenary, and i REALLY like Sorcerer healing.
  8. We just use random.org - It's very easy to become hated if you ever win anything though! Have fun
  9. Hello guys, I'm sure you've heard this a million times, but i think it's worth repeating again and letting BioWare know that there's a big chunk of their player base who want this. For those who have played DAoC and/or Warhammer Online, you're all familiar with the RvR zones. And for you who are new, let me explain and show you why this is a winning game mechanic with great replay value and lots of fun! (Disclaimer: If done right! WHO had issues reaching that right spot, but they got it eventually) It all started in DAoC. You would have Battlegrounds in different brackets, for example, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39 and so on. Each battleground would have one (1) or more objectives. The main objective being to gather a raid or a warband of people and begin an attack on a keep or castle. After successfully taking the keep you would get rewarded with items, tokens, money and realm points, which is like valor in SWTOR. The keeps would be claimable by guilds, which then invested money or other resources to upgrade and defend their keep. This essentially created and sustained the community on the server, especially in end game. But these RvR zones weren't only for keep and tower sieges. They made great areas for big and small battles to take place. The element of surprise, that feeling you get when you're roaming with your guildmates and run into enemies. Now this is the general picture of how these RvR areas worked in DAoC and Warhammer, there are many more details and incentives to make people want to level through this method of game play. They would have to make tweaks and changes to adapt this to SWTOR, but i think it can definitely work. And it's the most fun experience I've ever had in any MMO while leveling. This is what i imagined Ilum to be when i started playing this game. I was expecting atleast 1 zone every 10 levels to be PvP/RvR oriented. Not the 3 warzone grind that we have now. Quite honestly, i am shocked at how BioWare, who have handled both DAoC and WAR, completely ignored a game mechanic like this. A few videos from DAoC and WAR of keep sieges. DAoC, level 50: DAoC, level 40-44: DAoC, level 20-24: WHO, level 40 city siege: WHO, level 10-20 keep siege:
  10. Any word on this yet? It's extremely frustrating!
  11. I can see how we can make this thread work, I'll start! I accidentally and now she's pregnant.
  12. I have to agree with this to be honest. I do enjoy the Ops and flashpoints, a lot. But I've had more fun when doing my class quest, leveling and gearing at the same time. Nothing wrong with expressing your opinion. We all enjoy different things in an MMO.
  13. I see people complaining about the lack of content at 50. So i wanted to see if people could be honest, reasonable and constructive, for the better good of the game. I myself, have been 50 for quite some time. I was done with hard mode flashpoints around 2½ weeks ago, but i still do them almost daily to help friends and guildies. I've gathered my datacrons, I've maxed out affection on my 3 favorite companions and geared 4 of them, I'm economically comfortable. I'll be honest, I'm only valor rank 25, because i really don't enjoy the so called PvP in this game. I'm waiting for something better to come along. And I'm done with my dailys, i got the items that i needed. I have leveled 4 alts to 20-30+ and although i enjoy them for brief periods at a time, they don't compare to my main which i love to play. So, other than gear progression on your main, what would YOU like to do on your level 50 outside of raiding? Feel free to dream, but please try to be constructive here!
  14. Agreed. This thread is already due for a remake since it hit 1k+. Maybe name it 'The hunt for rares in the galaxy!' This will including anything rare that we can search for
  15. I rather not have the crystal in the game at all than some rude brats who abuse exploits to get it running around bragging. I'm glad to hear the item is still not in game tbh.
