  1. I haven't been able to keep the game running more than a couple of minutes since the update. I would think my system wouldn't even struggle with this game at all, but the game crashes and I lose all video and the music from the game keeps playing until I finally have to hit the reset button. I tried tabbing out of the game when it is black screen or alt+f4 or any of the other tricks, but only a manual reset can affect it. I tried nerfing the settings to low quality but it doesnt fix it. I am running a ASUS ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II Motherboard Intel Core i9-7980XE Extreme 2.6GHz 18-Core 128GB DDR4 3600mhz Memory RTX 3090 Gigabyte Vision OC Anything else I should try?
  2. I tried running it as admin, but that wasnt enough, I had to run compatibility trouble shooter and select the option that it needs special permissions and finally!!!! Thanks man for putting me on the right track.
  3. I will look into that, I already run swtor as admin, I will try that with elecom mouse assistant, I also just shot an email off to elecom translated into Japanese, lol. I did notice a weird little icon up in the top left corner if the window during my last testing of settings, looks like to little reddish balls slightly different size to one another with a weird symbol behind the and little lightning charging around it, probably unrelated but weird because I never have seen that before and my game map was blanks but the icons for mission tasks were still present.
  4. Maybe though I did miss something, so I am old enough to realize that I might have missed something obvious and humble enough to listen to suggestions.
  5. I did, install the latest elecom mouse software which is what allowed me to map the keys in the first place, but when running SWTOR it quits working, but in other games and on desktop applications these all work. It like SWTOR is treating it with anti-cheat protocols even though I am just binding number keystrokes to the hot bar. Trust me, I did all the noob fixes and when they don't work I then ask for help. But I did succeed in discovering that I could use right click if it is left in the default mouse setting but when I try to remap my right click to the outermost right button it quits working all together, this is what leads me to think that swtor is blocking it maybe.
  6. Sorry man, its been a long day. I sorted out the right click, had to use the default right click button which is irritating because I want it to be on the far right instead of the inner right. I would like to be able to program the other buttons to be key strokes to hotbar, but haven't figured that out yet.
  7. So, not sure if you are being serious or a smart*&^ , I am posting trying reach dev's or people who are actually trying to find solutions. My other mouse died and I am trying to figure out if I can use this one or if I have to order another.
  8. Basically, my cursor works, left click works, mouse wheel works... but right click everything else simply no response. Latest driver and all standard troubleshooting stuff has been tried.
  9. Hey I got this new mouse, same one my son uses and he swears by it. So I got it, nice gaming mouse but only partly functions on SWTOR. I talked with my son about it since he is a programmer and he suggested I contact you guys and let you know since he believes that the support for the mouse has to be added on your end. So here it is. Elecom Mouse model is called "HUGE".
  10. I think it is only on the Satele Shan server, I logged into another server and it would allow me to make a boosted character which wasnt allowed on satele shan.
  11. I didn't see any recent posts on this so if I missed one please don't persecute me. hehe Players refusing to run a flashpoint because they don't wish to do more than certain bosses or because they don't like the gear another player is wearing even before they see if that player can hold their own, is not cool. They need to at least give it a shot before the pronounce that they are wasting their time there. I mean some players are there to get better gear, so if the other player{s} refuse to run the phase because the perceive by looking at a player that their gear isn't to their liking it is not cool. Devs', I don't know if there is anything that can be done about this, but if there is please give it some thought As far as players skipping mobs and bosses, Anarchy Online had a solution for this, they had bettwer rewards for clearing a phase 100%. So if there was an Uber-Reward for each player present (like special gear they don't have yet) I am pretty sure it would cut down on the "Mission Blitzing". I was thinking about these issues and players quitting phases because other players wish to run the phase more completely or whatever, that quitting a phase prematurely would result in a 1/2-1 hour cool-down til they can join another flashpoint, unless the flashpoint is bugged and all players agree to quitting via pop-up when quitting a phase before main objective is complete. I dunno, I am sure this post is not going to have all positive feedback but it is worth consideration. Just an idea, so please no flaming.
  12. I am wondering about this too, I have cybertech maxed, underworld trading maxed and scavenging maxed... I have been running HM Flashpoints around 5 times a day for about a week, still have not found anything. Am I going about this wrong?
