  1. I've always figured that since she gets that occasional buff to crit to just ignore that and just get willpower, accuracy, power and surge.
  2. This. Stacking the Arkanian and Underworld relics of Serendipitous Assault will most definitely be BiS for your overall damage unless bioware ever makes a change to how they're currently functioning. If you cant however get these easily then the Boundless Ages would be the next best thing. Regardless I would recommend getting a Boundless Ages relic for those rare occasions where you need that added burst at specific moments.
  3. I've also been noticing this issue getting the same maps over and over again. This doesn't seem to just apply to warzones either, as its affected my ques for flashpoints as well. Since the launch of ROTHC when I've set the que to random between the 4 new 55 HM FPs between my 2 current 55s Ive done cademimu 24 times, athiss 18, mando raiders 3, hammer station 0 (I've done hammer station 3 times but I specifically qued for it all 3 times). You cannot say that's random. When I do Warzones I tend to get a lot of consecutive hypergates in a row more so then any other followed by a lot of novare coasts back to back. Ive done maybe 1 huttball match in the last 2 weeks and maybe 3 voidstars.
  4. I don't have exact values and it seems to vary from character to character. I do think that most romances cant actually "begin" until sometime past halfway through their affection cap. I know marriage it self is pretty much right around the ending of their affection levels too. At the moment only males can romance females and only females can romance male companions. Also keep in mind you can maximize a characters affection level out but you wont be able to unlock all conversations until you meet both that requirement and the level requirement as well. Just be sure to do things those characters like to keep on their good side. For instance taking the shock collar off vette is a great way to be on her good side. Use the Flirt options when you can.
  5. Not sure how you're having this much difficulty. I leveled my Assassin from 10-50 as Darkness (tank) Spec and hardly ever dropped below 85% health using Ashara as well. If you wish to go back to tank spec then you can follow this advice. Always kill weaker enemies first as they die the fastest and it reduces the over all damage coming in. One of your strongest attacks is shock, particularly with Energize procs. Keep in mind that shock also stuns standard enemy types throwing their damage back. Try to use this a lot. Wither is a strong aoe damager that also reduces damage done by the enemy. Also acts as an aoe slow so enemy melee mobs will have trouble moving. You should use this on CD Keep darkward up. Darkward maximizes the chance for your shield to proc thus reducing over all incoming damage. Downside is it has limited charges and duration however it is easily counteracted by having a low CD & Cost. Use Force Lightning at 3 Stacks of Harnessed Darkness. The damage will be boosted by 75% and you'll be healed for 3% of your total health every sec of the duration. This can end up happening a lot in any given fight and affords you a lot of health. Use Thrash and basic melee attack as a filler move in between shocks & withers. Use Discharge during aoe situations as well. It does decent aoe damage and reduces the enemys chance to hit. (less damage coming in) When an enemy is below 30% always replace using thrash with Assassinate. Also keep in mind you can start out a fight by CCing an elite humanoid from stealth. using your stun on elites is the best choice for it. Interrupt enemys trying cast abilities. You can use Spike as a second method to throw off the enemy cast time. You can knock enemys off cliffs for fall damage or even to their death. If things really get tough you can Rotate defensive cooldowns. Deflection, Force Shroud, Relics. (at 50 overcharge saber) Keep your companion as geared as you can. The better geared they are the better off you are too.
  6. Mercs have high damage, a stun and a knockback. They can additionally spec into a second knockback so this is hardly a problem. Mako can even end up throwing off the cast time with her little zappy CC. Powertechs actually have an interrupt.
  7. The "gear" they were referring to is actually just Orange Weapons designed for them. You receive these by doing a heroic Daily quest on Belsavis. For the empire the Mission is called "lights Out" and the republic version is called "Open Communication". Both can be soloed if you don't mind a death or two. If you're a stealth class you can do it with no deaths. At 50 either way you can give your same stats companion your hand-me-downs while the rest you can gear up using commendations after you're done using them on yourself. Also you might on occasion get lucky to be in a group and win an item that no one needs to which you can give to your companion. Also if you have a decent GTN you can keep an eye on that for upgrades for your companions.
  8. I didn't say "you" roll, I said if you won a roll. The game is self does a random /roll on its own if you haven't noticed the numbers next to your characters portrait. You do not need to pick the same option to receive more points you just have to be the one to have gotten lucky to win the random roll.
  9. As was mentioned before Act 1 is part of your characters story. Every class has 3 parts to their over all story (Class quests) divided into 3 Acts each focusing on a new goal or enemy to work toward. As for your second question, the legacy system will be added in patch 1.2 coming out this month. Aside from allowing your characters to have and share a surname the legacy system will have many perks you will have across all the characters as it levels up. For instance it was mentioned at the guild summit that in the higher levels of legacy you'll be able to unlock an auction house on your ship. Far as legacy abilities goes we don't have exact details for that either though it was suggested that since families share bloodlines a character such as an imperial agent could have some form of force sensitivity and thus maybe gain something like force choke. This is only an example so don't take it as fact.
  10. Grand is correct. The only way to gain "Social" points is to be grouped with another player or players during a conversation/cutscenes in a flashpoints and from quest givers. The total amount of social points you're rewarded per conversation is based on how many people are in the group at the time. Any conversation option you win you receive double the normal amount of points for that win only. For instance if you and 1 friend group together you'll be rewarded 2 social points per conversation option and 4 points for any you won a roll on. If you group with 3 other people the total amount you're rewarded per conversation is 4 points with 8 being what you receive for any win. The Social point cap is Social X at 10,000 over all social points. The easiest method of gaining social points as was suggested before is to run Esseles republic side or Black talon Empire side with as many people in group as possible though it is a long grind.
  11. ^ The Flashpoint Lightsaber would probably be the most level appropriate one you could get. I think at your level it's cademimu or you could do boarding party soonish. As was said the weapons are generally dropped off the last boss.
  12. Go to Torhead if you want a list. People generally post in the comments of an item if you want to know where it's from or even available.
  13. I'm guessing you're trying to figure out what roles each advanced class can fulfill. If this is the case then I'll go ahead and list them otherwise completely ignore this. Threw in a few of the weapon types they use so you're aware if making a choice based on what they use influences you too. Imperial Side Advanced Classes: Bounty Hunter: Powertech - Tank or Melee Dps Mercenary - Healer or Ranged Dps (Dual-wields pistols) Sith Inquisitor: Assassin - Tank or Melee dps (uses Double bladed saber) Sorcerer - Healer or Ranged dps (Single Blade saber) Sith Warrior: Juggernaut - Tank or melee Dps (Single Lightsaber) Marauder - Melee Dps ( Dual-Lightsabers) Imperial Agent: Operative - Healer or Melee Dps Sniper - Ranged Dps ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Republic Side Advance Classes: Trooper: Vanguard: Tank or Melee Dps Commando: Healer or Ranged Dps (Blaster cannon) Jedi Consular: Jedi Shadow - Tank or Melee Dps (Double Bladed lightsaber) Jedi Sage - Healer or Ranged Dps (single bladed saber) Jedi Knight: Jedi Guardian - Tank or Melee Dps (Single Bladed saber) Jedi Sentinel - Melee Dps (Dual-lightsabers) Smuggler: Scoundrel - Healer or Melee Dps Gunslinger - Ranged Dps
  14. Id also like to throw an extra little note in on the speeder thing. When patch 1.1.5 hits which may or may not be this coming Tuesday the cost for speeders and training will drop so you may want to hold off for a little bit to see if it comes.
  15. I quit a WZ for the first time ever today since the people on my team were the worst id ever seen ever and I pvp a lot. To say the very least the worst moment was when I stunned the enemy ball carrier in the fire and he was about to die but some idiot on our team ran up and force pushed him into the goal line allowing them to score while he himself died in the fire. One of many failures of that same match.
