  1. ^^ this Im not sure if the engine can handle 20v 20 but Id like to see larger teams and larger maps. AV would be nice an open world wintergrasp/ echo base battle would be sweet
  2. Put it this way, during primetime JC, EH and Slands have abouyt 500-700+ lvl 60s on per faction Pot5 has 60. Even if Pot5 and Jungma merged they wouldnt even match EH, JC or SLands
  3. I cant speak for who is queuing but based on several checks a day, SL, EH and JC all have about the same number of lvl 60s online. SL is a little higher except has the worst ratio of pub to imp where as JC is almost 1:1 with EH not far behind. Ill take my chances on JC or EH most likely
  4. True, it isnt economy based, but I kinda just threw it in there along with the other possible improvements That was just brainstorming. I meant something in the spirit of 12x xp. It doesnt literally need to be 12x, it could be any number that makes sense, and for any amount of time, even just a weekend. Sure doesnt feel that way. Maybe it only took hours at launch when everyone was giving it a go. It might still take hours now, but must be spread out thin over weeks. It feels grindy as hell to me. It definitely feels gated. Lower the gate and more new people might play. Queues might get better and people could get more req/day and it might not feel so grindy. Again, Im just spitballin here. Cheaper upgrades wouldnt make alt ships so tedious. The token thing would be nice too. Our job is to say what we'd like, within reason. It's up to the devs to tweak it and get the logistics right.

  6. Your main points are pretty much what I just posted in my thread. I mustve missed this one.
  7. Id very much love to play more GSF, but the barrier for entry is too high to be worth it. It's fun, but I weigh everything as cost/ benefit. Im saying this not as a newcomer to Swtor Ive been playing since beta off and on. I cant get into GSF, which is a shame because I feel it has allot of potential that allot of people new and old are completely missing out on. Imo the costs for upgrading are too inflated compared to the time required. The time required is inflated even more because queues are so slow. This is driving people away before they even try. Im not saying I want anything handed to me. Ive always been the type of gamer to say nobody should have anything handed to them. Nothing should be made too easy. But this isnt a handout, it's getting a playable ship(not a maxed out ship) in reasonable time, and increasing GSF population for everyone. Nobody is playing the darned thing. That is what it comes down to for me. Above all else, I want more people to play, but they wont for reasons stated here. Slow queues are a symptom of something else. GSF needs some life breathed into it. People wont play because queues dont pop. Queues dont pop because nobody plays. Nobody plays because it's too much of a time-sink for little reward (or reward many dont care about, but that's another thread for someone else). Something needs to be done. Im sitting on two options here A: Hope for GSF pops and try and get a few matches in a day when I can get on. At this rate it'll probably be months of grinding unless queues explode. When that's all over, it still wont matter because Ill just be a guy with a cool ship and still no gsf pops. B: Just dont play GSF and save myself the futile investment. 3.3 PvP economy changes sound like a breath of fresh air. Less grinding more playing. Perhaps something similar would promote GSF action and lower queue times. Perhaps a better tutorial Perhaps legacy wide requisition Perhaps an event like 12x the requisition for GSF,. That should get allot of people to try it out and at least level up a ship or two in the process. Feel free to disagree
  8. I'd like to see a dev reply on this. PVP economy is getting an overhaul. Are we going to see GSF economy overhaul? Leveling up the ship parts is a huge entry barrier. I cant get past it, especially not with these queues
  9. yep big mistake. The servers arent exactly brimming with people to do it all anyway. Splitting us up is a big mistake. SO I have to make a guess whether most are queuing for warzones of Starfighter tonight and if I choose the wrong one well IM stuck in an empty queue while everyone else does the other thing.
  10. Thank you very much. Ill likely stay on Pot5 and try and find a guild with some Cajones to fight back. Ive briefly considered Bastion but Im kinda afraid of west coast server delay Im in St John's Newfoundland Which is the farthest East you can go in North America
  11. Thank you both So long as my server is healthy I dont really care what status is has. Now to stay on pot5 or switch to jung ma for pvp....
  12. Ive been gone for about a year and Im wondering are pot5 and jung ma really only standard pop. According to torstatus they havent broken into heavy pop in at least a month. I know shortly after launch they expanded server size to help with queue times and what as once considered heavy became standard, so the number of people online was similar but the server considered heavy standard because it could fit more overall. Did they do this again within the last year?
  13. Before I get to the question Id like to mention I am a PvPer at heart, Jedi Guardian Defense spec main, Huttballer, node Guard, Meat shield, Guarder, Taunts ALWAYS on cooldown, Door watcher, INC CALLER, and quite often top objective and protector. Id consider myself a very good pvp tank and an asset to my Faction. I dont roll over and die Ever. There is no "just let them win" or "lets switch phases the sith are here" And Id like to find some like minded players This is for Pot5 and Jung Ma players (mainly Pubs) - how strong and competent do you feel your PVP community is, IM a Pub player and last I played Sith outnumbered us a good 3:1 at least, Open world Pvp was dead apart from some random player made event or gree event that always ends up being 3:1 sith vs pub aoe spam. IN warzones there were a handful of competent pub players and if they werent online well...it took a while to get the weekly done. I may be asking for allot but: A- which population is biggest Jung ma or Pot5, torstatus says they are pretty much the same with Pot5 being a lil bigger, but by what margin I wonder? Thousands of people? dozens? B- hows the R vs E ratio on Pot5 and Jung Ma C- how alive are each servers PvP communities? IM looking for one with some backbone. IM kinda hoping if I did switch to Jung Ma maybe the RPness of it would entice more pubs to get off their asses and at least try and make a decent fight when our zones get trolled. Basically since the servers look to both be around the same size Im going to transfer/ or stay on the one with the better overall Pvp community. Sell me your server people P.s. I realize your responses will be mostly subjective, that's ok
