  1. The SWG housing city building was the best feature in an MMO when it came to community immersion. I remember on Kauri server in SWG, our guild SITH had a city on Lok that had well over 100 player personal homes, all city buildings like City Hall, Guild Hall, taxi port, med lab, etc... We also had quie a few manufacturing areas and easily near 500 factories set up. People were regularly running the streets and grabbing missions from the mission terminals. The city was set up by the guild architecs and was not random at all. Those folks set it up like a modern metropolitan city, with player housing set up like a suburb. Was alot of fun.
  2. Did the FE HM last night and had only one issue and that was the grenades. So instead of using the grenades we had 2 of us use our push ability and that knocked him off the edge of the bridge.
  3. /signed this is something that should be at the top of the list imo. With the option/ability to cast hostile spells/abilties through target if friendly and visa-versa for healing.
  4. I have recieved no HM FP social points yet, and have been running them for nearly 3 weeks now.
  5. As a 50 BH the only mobs I had issue with were the self healing Jedi bosses toward the end of ACT 1. SO I upgraded my gear and my companions gear and the fights lasted only 10mins with Mako healing me. Otherwise I would eventually die from his stuns he placed on me and my companion. The fights where there were a strong or 2 mob I would CC one and just burn the other down. Using your shield with regen temp buffs also help alot for these big nasty fights.
  6. I actually like what they are speaking about for the legacy system. Yes it may be a burden if you get powers that scale depending on what classes/races you level to max for raiders who do not like to roll alts, but at the same time it gives people the opportunity who level alts to actually get a bonus out of it. I was not much of an altaholic until recently with MMOs, but am enjoying leveling a few new classes casually while I am not playing my main. this legacy system could be interesting, we shall see.
  7. I believe this would be part of one of the next big patches. They just recently released a video for future updates of the game and apparently they already have a UI customizing feature, just needs to be tweaked before release. Hopefully by the end of February.
  8. Yes it is broken and yes it should be fixed. But No it is not game breaking, and no it does not hinder ones ability to progress IF they complete their quests as they are.
  9. I have 2 screens and multitask also, not so mind-boggling here, it is not such a L33T thing anymore for folks to have decent rigs. ***** comparisons, such a new fad. I am not defending them so vehemently, I am just pointing out the obvious, which many of you have such tunnel vision you can not even see it. Yeah it pissed me off for 3 weeks not being able to abandon my 14 grey quests. But right now it does not because I spent a few hours completing them like I should have done in the first place.
  10. You are the one sitting here complaining like a child. You could have dumped another 4 quests by now. You would rather spend hours on a forum complaining rather then just finishing off a task you were employed to do. Yeah makes total sense bro, cool story.
  11. My rig: win7 64bit AMD Phenom II x6 @3.02ghz 128GB OCZ SSD 2TB Seagate HDD 8GB Patriot DDR3 RAM 560GTX Nvidia GPU I run 2 monitors a 27"Samsung LED for the game while running, and a 24" Samsung LCD for internet explorer for FB, NHL.com and youtube why I am playing. My only suggestion is alot of folks do not do any preventive maintenance for their computers. Taking can air and cleaning the processor heatsink and gpu heatsink helps with some performance issues. But you need to get that air into the coil fins themselves just not through the case housing. Also check your background programs running. Some folks may still have items such as torrents, anti-virus programs, video files, and other software applications running in the background that hinders their performance. I use Malewarebytes for my security with windows defender. the only things I have running in the background is my peripheral programs for my Razer keyboard/mouse, Malewarebytes and internet explorer. I also sometimes listen to my music through either win media player or itunes, depending on what I am in the mood for. Use CCleaner.com for cleaning your harddrive of old/temp files that can cause bottlenecking as well as fixing your registry, which tends to get anomalies frequently on computers.
  12. You know in the amount of time you(not just you personally) waste spent complaining on there forums and not recieiving any ingame reward you could have removed most of those quest from your log by now. Most of the quests are not bugged, they are part of the the storyline for the planet you were doing them on. That is why most of them could not be abandoned. like I said earlier, I had 14 grey quests in my log for nearly 3 weeks, I finally broke down and completed them 2 days ago in a few hours. Now I am not so irritated with my quest log.
  13. I use AMD Phenom, I am kinda anti-Intel atm. You should have at least 4gb Standard RAM minimum and a decent graphics card(something made within the last couple years. I handle all aspects of the game on highest settings anywhere from 70-120fps.
  14. I have had the same issue for weeks, had 14 grey quests that could not be abandoned. I sent in many tickets and got the standard reply. Apparently you can not delete storyline quests for planets. So at 50, 2 days ago went and completed all except maybe 2 within a few hours. Now I have room in my quest log and no more getting irritated. Sorry but that seems to be the fix atm.
  15. The one thing I loved about EQ2 was the ability to play multiple accounts on once machine. At first I used a keystroke program to macro my toons, but that became more hassel to set up then one would think so I dumped it and went conventional 2 screens on one computer. I would have my MT set up on my main display, and my buff toons/healers and toon I would be power leveling with using the mentoring ability on the other display. I could easily, with practice swap between screens with mouse pointer, click the designated macro for that particualr toon(usually a macro was: /Target <Tank name>, /cast heal) could not proceed much more then 2 abilities with queuing. It was alot of fun power leveling solo, and dungeon running myself at times. My wife would do the same while I was working or she would take 2 accounts and I would handle 3. We never sold gold/plat, we never camped areas longer then needed for quest updates/xp gain, and I do not think PvP'n and multiboxing would be a good idea. That's why I am a little sad in the pants I can not run more then one instance on a machine for SWTOR. We would easily have 4 accounts between my wife and myself.
