  1. I loved the Sith Inquisitor storyline. It went thru mysteries of the force, the surprise twist of your ancestor being a Dark Lord of the Sith. The betrayel, seeking mysteries and a confrontation. This is all very canon and was an amazing story. I suspect some people are too jaded to enjoy how thoroughly it was portrayed. Sith Sorcery has rarely been portrayed and for it to be shown in game was awesome.
  2. Hello there, I have been an ongoing customer since the game came out. I do like most of it. I am saddenned by the move to the superservers. First the servers lag like crazy, when me or my fiance complain about it we get the notification of get a better internet connection. Interesting customer service. Its amazing that I get fast connection with other games but not with Star Wars, the one I enjoy. the next problem of your superservers is that aside from the horrible lag your system obviously cannot handle the populations after forcing us to go to these servers, but that we canno properly do trade skills as there are so many people swooping thru like vultures that it is very difficult to actually get the items you need to do increase the skills. While I am on rants, the datacrons are a pet peeve of mine, they were supposed to be about exploring but instead its like playing a platform video game. I feel more like Q Bert versus a hero. I hated Q bert by the way. And if you get stuck on the trek it takes you all the way to the beginning versus where your actually at. Why do you hate us? Who designed the Q Bert style hunt for datacrons. Really this is a bit absurd. Some I have found utterly impossible to do even though I have the path, I am unable to complete them since I am not Qbert skilled enough. Whenever I have asked for assistance it is noted that I have to find it myself. I can point at it, its right there. Finally the endless grinding for gear is utter crap at the level 50+. If your going to use the everquest model of crap where you have to endlessly do operations with 16 of your best friends or whatever here, I just want you to know that when I complete the different stories, I will probably be done with your game. I love exploring and I would like to see the operations but I am not going to go on that endless cycle of stupidity to get gear. I want to have fun, not grind endlessly. Since I have never been in an operation, not geared enough from what I hear. I cant say if there is a story or not and it doesnt seem that Bioware really cares about the casual player here. A complete divergence from the quality products you have put out in the past. Then of course since I am not geared with the latest uber gear you get complaints from the *****'$ that I am not geared good enough and to go away. Thus further the ability to explore content. Get away from the Everquest/WOW model of forcing the endless grinding for gear and make exploration fun. The stories are great but apparently after the 8 stories that is going to be it. There wont be a need to play for me since I wont put up with the jerks I have been encountering. This is getting frustrating beyond words for me on these counts. the lag the POOR Customer service that everyone seems to just not care and that really is the feeling that we get with me and my fiance. The lack of ability to play the game the way its supposed to be played. May I speak to someone who actually cares at Bioware? Or is everyone to busy doing their jobs to talk to customers? I would like to have a talk with them since at this point I am prety much joining the line of disgruntled in regards to SWTOR. So far I love the game to 50 and utterly hate it post 50 as its just grinding without real story. I enjoyed not grinding in the game, just travelling thru the stories was great. The post 50 nightmare has begun for me. I would love if your going to follow some of the everquest model to add in AA points. They were such a good idea to help expand your character. I look at star wars that it was always focused on learning something new no matter who you were in the stories. This game does not reflect that. You have a finite amount you can learn and then your stuck for...? ever? With the level cap announced 6 months ago and still not shown up...no idea if we will ever progress further. I feel that everyone is so focused on producing what they believe is the great product that they have forgotten about the people who really love the story and the game that should be played for enjoyment and not feel like a job to play. I would love to talk to someone at Bioware to understand why decisions have been made the way they are cause at this point, I am about ready to scrap the game.
  3. Amazing the inquiry is about resources being on spawn timers since they flooded us into servers like sardines and we get to talking about instances. It seems that every area is now nearly ravaged and it seems that they want us to fight over resources like rabid dogs. certainly takes any fun that might have been in crew skills and chucked it out the window.
  4. I have really loved the story aspects of the game. The stories have been amazing. I am always in anticipation of what comes next in the story. However getting really frustrated since we were all forced to move. So now that we have all been relegated like cattle to servers, once again the resource battles begin. As you move thru areas resources are flat out not available in many areas due to the high populations. What is being done to help out with this? I would rather be on a low population server where I can actually harvest resources rather than be on a server like a bunch of sardines with no resources available. What is the Bioware plan to solve some of this issue? Especially since we were forced to move? Can we get some reduced timers on the items or something? It completely blows to have to spend a good portion of the money you earn on sending crew members on missions since you cant find resources. Especially with how ridiculously expensive everything gets in the game.
  5. the removing mod cost is pretty ridiculously high. Especially when they have items for sale in game for millions of credits. If you used the machine make it a reduced cost or free. Something to make it more reasonable. Even checking and doing it right, moving mods to a piece of gear, especially as the level increases, is very pricey.
  6. it would be awesome if the the companion gift missions showed what type of gift your getting. Some you can kind of guess, but in most cases its impossible. That way it would help as your levelling and working on companion affection that you sought out the appropriate gifts rather than spending thousands of credits on a gift your companion essentially throws away. And gifts that give 0 affection, why couldnt we have those back to give to another? Instead they are just gone and credits completely gone...
  7. I agree that the platforming is crazy hard for some of us. Its nice that many do enjoy it. However, when the idea of datacrons was presented it was done so from an angle of exploring new or hidden areas. I love exploring and finding things, however, I have never played enough platforming video games to develop the requisite skills. Now when the people say you dont have to, its not required. So if we go out and PVP and your stats are 100 pts higher or so due to getting all the datacrons and I cant get them, then that blattantly becomes unfair. Something that really has no place in an MMO being required to be competitive, so to speak, and not everyone has that ability to get it. The idea of exploration is awesome and would be great to have datacrons to be discovered by exploration. The beginning level planets are for the most part, great about this. Tython, Korribon, Ord Mantell, although Hutta has one that is a bit of a pain. But perhaps have an option for those who cannot platform to have a task, grav sled, force power...or whatever to get the datacrons while those who wish to platform may do so.
  8. ok I had to get referred to the suggestion box since I didnt know how to find it. Then logging in, couldnt find it again and had to go to the old thread to find it. The idea would be to make it easier for people who wanted to give feedback and suggestions and be able to find it quickly and easily.
  9. First I hate to have to put in a security code for the forums on top of using it for the game....really? getting out of hand. But doing mssions for companion gifts is pretty out of hand. The affections seem fickle and you get pitiful amounts of affection change for gifts that some times cost thousands of credits. It would be nice to have so better narrowing down of what type of gift is given from a mission so I can work on the companions I want to versus, spending thousands of credits (huge ripoff in game) to give gifts to companions and then they dont like and you dont get the gift back. Seems like a way to bleed the credits from the players. Taxis on low level planets 10 ish credtis to move around but then later 200 ish and higher and higher per world. Again another way to bleed credits from players, The cost of training as you progress, over 20K per power in the 30's? really???? Just trying to bleed players versus help them..... I love the stories, but that is starting to wear on me some.... Finally the platforming for datacrons... we were sold that datacrons would be based on exploring. They most of the time have nothing to do with exploring but in platforming. If your not a good platformer...just forget it... I have no hope in getting some of them, I dont have the skill and never will. apparently the creators really dont care about that or finding ways for players to explore t find them without being a mad platformer..but there are lots of people that do not have the platform skills for getting them and never will. It is disappointing to me that we are essentially penalized so we can never get these items since we dont have the skills to get them. lets face it talk about a break in genre, we have sky cars, mag lifts...etc... and cant move up to get a datacron on a stupid pipe? REALLY!!!????!??! Just some gripes.... Overall I love the game, but Bioware/EA/Origins.. really has moved toward making angles of this not fun....intentionally. I hope that some day they will review these things and adjust them to better levels
