  1. I think all of these ideas are excellent and would improve the overall pvp experience over the current one. ut right now however good that make pvp, they need to fix the imbalance first and start giving out underdog bonuses and incentives for people to start playing the underdog faction.
  2. I totally agree! I am glad bioware stuck to the lore! I am wondering though, will light side be able to use purple colour crystals? I have seen a few imperial dark side players with them already but no light side or republic players yet (maybe some of the imperials were light, but couldn't tell in the Warzones I was in as I was busy trying to win ;-)) Does any one know if purple is restricted to dark side? It should be for light as well in a way as Old Mace had one... ;-)
  3. They should work, although you might have to remap them. I.e. by default mine (I have a g510) were mapped to the F1 through F12 keys. If you remap them to say 1 through 0 then they will reflect the keys they are already bound to ingame. To rebind them, use the logitech software ;-) Send me a message on here if you need more help with that.
  4. Since people want to see proof, here's some prof of a lvl 50 taking out 4 opponents by himself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOvx28ikYWI
  5. I have always rolled the underdog faction in other MMO's as I don't like easymode (in any game) I actually thought before launch and pre launch perhaps a lot of people would roll republic and feared I had to roll imperial even though personally I rather play light side then dark side. I was happily surprised to find out that Imperial was rolled so heavily, so I got to roll the faction that I would enjoy mot to play story line wise and conviction wise and have a challenge at the same time! And just so you know, the good guys always win ;-) "For the Republic!!"
  6. I second all of the original post! awesome job sid, and lets hope bioware keeps listing to the community (not too much other wise everything ends up getting nerfed and each class will be the same...lol).
  7. That's exactly what I have been experiencing...lol
  8. That would definately be an issue if people had to queue for ages. is there that little population on the servers then? Either way I do think perhaps the high lvls (45+) should be in their own bracket as every one I have talked to and all the post I have read seems to do little to no damage on this high lvls as a lvl 30 or below.
  9. Generally I would say the bolster system really works and I am happy this means that there are no serious long waiting queues for Warzones. It did find though (and this is my personal experience) that lvl 50's (and lets say 40 and up) feel as if they are way stronger/tougher then any one else. That said, me as a lvl 23 currentlty vs a lvl 34 is not a problem, sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. But as said by others in this thread, the higher lvl's should be in their own brackets in my personal opinion. And again, generally the PvP feels really great :-D
  10. Personally I am loving the PVP. Sure it still needs some balancing, but right now each class feels very unique to play but also fight against. The Bounty Hunter does feel a bit OP in range perhaps but as a sentinel I just leap in and have no problems taking care of most BH's up close. The problem I am finding is the lvl different in warzones. Maybe it is just my imagination, but the higher lvls (I am talking about 20+ lvls higher then your current lvl) feel like they are at least twice as hard to kill and hit twice as hard. Yes they have similar HP but perhaps their armor is much higher due to what they are able to wear and their attacks better because they have the high lvl attacks? If this is true a simple fix would be to only have lvl 10-20 in a warzone, 20-30 in a warzone and so on. What are your thoughts on this?
  11. Our guild did some PvPing last night and we had 2 healers and 2 DPS. Went like a charm. sure we lost some games and sure we did die, but the healers also managed to keep us alive a lot of the times and visa versa. I am really enjoying the PVP except for the lvl difference but that is a different cup of tea.
  12. Is it just me or does the alignments points still seem to come stuck at one point? I've have done quest several times now, but every time I receive light side points (50 for example) I am still stuck at 1750. Is this a visual bug i.e. it shows 1750 but it actually does go up behind the scenes or is it both visual and mechanical. Any one else have this problem too?
  13. I do really have to hand it to Bioware, they truly are the masters of blue balling this many people at once with this EGA by wave release of theirs. I normally I'm quite chilled out but waiting this long and the next wave which I should be on taking longer then usually even has me going a bit bonkers here. So here's to hoping we are all getting in on the next wave, cheers!
