I fully support this idea! It couldn't be THAT hard to implement.

It seems like it would be simple to just let Force-users any saber setup and allow gun-users to use any blaster setup. Off-hand items are generally just stat holders, save for Marauder/sentinels using off-hand sabers and gunslingers using off-hand pistols, but some programming tricks could make this possible. I can see that BW wants to keep a "flavor" of a glass, but no one truly worries about that. Most of us want customizing options. Just a thought BW...
