f2p may be limited. But, it's free. If you cancel your subscription, you cancel your subscription. In a non f2p game, you'd then be able to play nothing, at all. In this game, after you cancel, you can still play some. Free is free. Don't look a gift-horse in the mouth.

The game is reported to go f2p in November. So, we'll know soon.

It's not going to happen, because it's a needless expense from the pov or ea / bioware. Sure, they said before launch that it would happen. But, they also said at launch that the game would be subscription based. Welcome to the real world. Things change.
