  1. Personally, I'd go with the Sith-Alchemy theory (my SI being a Twi'lek and all). But, for argument's sake, we know that there has been some experimenting with the manipulation of the Midichlorians, 3500 years later, so who knows what the old Sith Lords did in their spare time?
  2. Well, all the Star Wars games I have played up until now had set the Light Side path as canon, afterwards. So no wonder it feels like we are "forced" to choose LS: Maybe they have done the same here. And, honestly, in most of the other games it does feel really wrong to succumb to the Dark Side. On the other hand, Companion affection is really not a marker for choosing Light or Dark. Sure, if you roleplay your character it becomes an issue, especially with the Romance Interests. But, as stated before: A real darksider doesn't care about things like that. I for myself have played all classes on the Light Side. It works, even in the context of the SW or IA class stories. At least to a certain degree. Being LS does not mean you have to be anti-imperial. Being pro-imperial does not mean you have to be DS. I can imagine a loyal Imperial officer who simply does not want to kill innocent children. The same way I can imagine a Sith to have a heart. That does not mean they won't try to rise to power, but not at any cost. At least that's the reasoning I incorporated in my characters' backgrounds.
  3. I hope they do. Doesn't matter whether my characters fall out of line, it's just interesting to see what "they" (meaning Lucasarts) had intended, canonwise. And hey, my Jedi Exile was male... didn't make me sad to read about Meetra Surik though.
  4. Nice idea imho, especially due to Star Wars being a setting where it would easily be possible to change every aspect of your appearence with the help of some biotechnology, not just haircuts.
  5. Well, I played MMOs where they just put up a warning in the forums, like "Don`t enter dungeon xy or your character will be deleted, due to a bug" instead of fixing it right away. I agree, the number of maintenance hours is not quite optimal, but playing alongside bugs of real magnitude is not recommended either. So... well, could be worse.
  6. New classes would not be needed, just new Class Story Lines for their counterparts. An Imperial Trooper would need a completely new Class Story, as would a Republic Agent. Bounty Hunters and Smugglers could just get their Class Stories modified.
  7. Well, personally I'd like to know what happens after all the Exodus-Servers are nearly emptied out? Will they live on with just a handful of players on them or will they be shut down? Will my characters be lost if I don't want a PAID transfer at that time or will there be another option to tranfer them for free? Or will they be "forcefully" tranferred to a random server? Or will my Legacy even get split-up on multiple servers? Answers to those questions would make it much more easy for me to decide whether I want my whole Legacy get transfrred now or not.
