  1. i havent really tested it,but during fights if i noticed correctly,you cant have 2 fury effects active together,since if you noticed while having berserk,predation or bloodthirst up,you're not gaining fury,if you popped frnezy,i think the current effect disappear.
  2. yea OP is right,i did report the same thing in few topics in the past week or so,but i actually didnt know the reason behind it till i read this,i noticed my blood frenzy and ataru form strikes not going on for a minute or two during fights in EV,(prio to 1.1) especially annihlation droid,and gharj...and yea this bug is really bad for carnage,,since you wont get blood frenzy nor excutioner procs,which beside the damage lost from ataru form is quite a hit for the spec. and on a side for someone said another reason to stick to annihlation,you know that Bleedout talent there is bugged too?;p but yea in general i hope they fix those bugs soon,am sticking to rage atm,while i love the spec,i am more comfortable in fights with boss moving with the other 2 specs

  4. it got bugs that's right,but as i said the class is so fun to play,that's worth for them to be fixed,plus the class in general got some of most utility. dunno what you mean about berserk and juyo not healing group mates cause it work fine for me,on other than infernal coucil fight,which is cause of fight mechanics you're not supposed to help your group. as for last comment,am not really a pvp person,i do it for my daily only,but when i was annihlation,in most voidstars/civil war i'd be at 200k+ damage,and there was some games where i did about 100k healing through my dots in a warzone,it's just harder since you cant stay on your target much especially on huttball.
  5. yea i did 3 operation lockout as carnage(all pre 1.1) and noticed this,mostly on annihlation droid,and since i confirmed it with few others on same realm/other forums,decided to drop any concideration for carnage till its fixed,since its a core mechanic for the spec,and after learning of bleedout bug in annihlation am sticking with rage in pve for time being ..good thing that for first time in my mmo history,am loving all 3 specs of my class,and loving marauders a lot,so dont mind playing any of the 3 specs,as they're all funand unique in a way.
  6. yea its mostly noticable through bloodfrenzy ,it stopped proccing,you'd notice the "red effect" from it stop appearing on your characters,and that it doesnt appear on your buffs for a while and your force scream crit will be lower during that time. its a weird bug,cause it only happen on long fights ,where you're on same target,and it happen like mid fight not start or end and,it just start working again normally *shrug*. not many people notice it though
  7. great post pvt(dont remember rest of name though!) covers carnage pretty well,got few points to mention though,Rupture not worth wasting your rage on as carnage,you're better off with a massacre(its 3 rage,but with rage return talent from annihlation it cost 2 rage technically). other thing,you telling me all of you carnage marauders who say how good it is endgame never noticed the huge bug with it?on long fights where you stay on same target,annihlation droid,gharj Soa,bonethrasher etc,you guyz dont see it?if so you really need to watch your buffs,and see you arent getting blood frenzy/excutioner for 2 whole minutes during those fights,cause simply your ataru strikes stop proccing from other than massacre.which make carnage underperforming atm,yes marauder "boss" in infernal council is a good measure but its not long enough for the bug to occur ;p.
  8. that is what make the class fun to me,and that's reason behind most QQ topics,you need to know how to play to get the best out of marauder,its challenging,and that's what make it interesting,if you do operations,go in and press those "3" buttons as you said for mercs,,every week without any effort on farm content it,the game will get boring quickly. as for ontopic,there is really no way to tell which is best without logs or meters,but in general i tried all specs on more than one difficulty mode and all seem fine,as first reply said,play what you like,only thing though atm,Annihlation got a slight bug,in bleedout talent,and carnage seem to bug on long fights,with ataru form strikes not proccing for a minute or two randomly,which means no bloodfrenzy or excutioner procs,which imo make the spec a bit lacking atm till this is fixed,Rage virtually is only spec bug free atm,but juggernauts do rage better than marauders cause of their other trees synergy with smash,and dont judge rage cause its main attack is an aoe ;p that aoe is hardest hitting ability marauder got on single target,with shockwave buff,and only cost 1 rage point,and since you mentioned "raiding spec" on all current fights in operations,only fight where you gotta cc some adds is bonethrasher hard/nightmare but still you can work it out fine.
  9. yea,you dont even need to use berserk or bloodthirst in that fight,actually only thing you'll do is disrupt the self healing you're getting from your dot crits(without berserk) making it harder on you. with that said,you can kill your opponent even on nightmare mode without it,just be clever with your cds,use obfuscate and after its effect gone,pop both saberward and cloak of pain,their you go,your dots will still heal you on crits,and you'll be more than fine
  10. mara would be OP with a stun or knockback in pvp,the class is fine,once thewy fix some bugs in talents and the ability delay,the class is a beast already ;o dont need buffs,nor nerfs,its some other classes that need a nerf(operatives and scoundrels) but nerfs for those are in patch 1.1 ptr notes
  11. they also may have had their resolve bar full,and it may interfere with it,on both cases,if you sucessfully interrupted someone you'd see a samll icon on their debuff bar,called (confusion or distraction not sure) its like the grav round ability icon for troopers and its tooltip say,cant use an ability,and have 4s duration
  12. i'd go with annihlation instead of carnage if you're 50,cause carnage got a bug to it atm on long fights,resulting in a lot of DPS loss(you'll notice it mostly on operations fight). and yea rage is a nice spec,and it might be top DPS indeed,but fact that most FP bosses knock you down on charge/obliterate,plus charge sometime put you in front of boss and you're cleaved,make it a bit awkward,but still its a great spec in general!.
  13. i killed him when i was 3 levels below him,used quin,and simply made sure to interrupt his long cast,the one that deal about 3k damage,other than that no kiting was needed!
  14. cba reading through the whole topic,but if your guild leader think marauders is useless,tbh go look for another guild,in hard/nightmare modes progression,you need marauder bloodthirst to get by the enrage timer,and its only class that bring 15% healing/damage increase for 15s and on most fights can be used twice. obfuscate..boss enraged ,np use it on boss,and have 6s extra before boss start one shotting everyone. speed boost through predation,healing through berserk if you're annihlation specced, got 3-4(depending on spec) defensive cd's to survive aoe /enrage damage phases.... people who say marauders dont bring utility,are those who didnt bother reading about the class,as marauder simply the single most advanced class that got most utility. am a marauder,and i am in every hardmode/nightmare mode raid for my guild.
  15. yea you deffo use vicious slash everynow and then as annihlation,especially when you get lucky with proc on the rage return from bleeds
