  1. Necroing the thread, issue still present. Players don't have to jump through hoops because Bio can't figure out the respawn timers of their own NPCs.
  2. Instance (1) of Belsavis is inaccessible on the Darth Malgus server, even though the list of players on the planet shows no players are present on there. When I killed the boss yesterday, it was always on the first instance, while the other two were empty.
  3. After completing the achievement I was informed that I have unlocked a new Legacy Title, but I cannot seem to notice what that Legacy Title is. Anybody got a clue as to what it might be?
  4. How is a company responsible for the opinions of the people that play the game? That's some weird logic you got there.
  5. I would like to share my opinion on this subject as well, because decorating my stronghold has been the only consistently fun part of the game for me. I doubt Bioware will actually do something about the current issues with the strongholds, but it feels good just sharing ideas with others about it. I believe the hook system by itself is very limiting. They should have just let us put whatever we want, whenever we want (within reasonable boundaries of course, can't have full-scale rancors and anti-air defense turrets in little corridors). Also, the fact that you can't change the design of the stronghold itself (including day/night mode, general wall and floor look, even room positioning and size if you will) is infuriating to me. How are we supposed to make this our digital home with barely any customization options of the home itself? I agree wholeheartedly with all of the suggestions here. I feel like the whole SH system is the absolute minimum as to what can be considered player housing.
  6. The messages come after the Ossus storyline, mate. In it you decide to support either the Republic or the Empire. I'd like to believe Bioware are planning on doing something with them, and not just pretending they never existed. But I'm not holding my breath tbh. I agree with the rest of your post wholeheartedly, except with the part about Koth and Arcann being ok with everything. It might be just me, but I don't think Koth cares about Zakuul only, not after the events of KotFE and KotET anyway. So if he sees you turning into the same dictator as Arcann was, slaughtering civilians left and right, I'm certain he'll try something to stop you. But he should be ok with joining the Empire without all of that killy business. As for Arcann (and Senya to some extent), well, same logic really. Having walked that path before, I'm certain he would at least try to stop you from going down it as well, if not actively sabotage the Alliance. There's room for a lot of development of their characters. Now, if Bioware would spend the resources into advancing them, that's another thing. Well, I'm being hypothetical here. But I still think there's a chance for Lana to turn against you, even if it's a slim one. She doesn't strike me as the type of the Sith that can ignore someone ordering the senseless deaths of innocents for too long. So if you go down that path, I think there's a chance she'll turn against you as well.
  7. That's exactly my logic as to why someone would try to overthrow the commander. At this point, the Alliance is as much theirs as ours. The initial point of the Alliance was to defeat the Zakuul, but if it turns out to be just another merciless empire bent on galactic domination due to a player's choices, I can definitely see Theron, T7 and Jorgan staging a coup. I use those three as an example because they have the most impact on the story, but any other pub companion, perhaps even some from the Star Fortresses, heck you can even add Senya and Arcann in here, is a potential ally of theirs. Just my thoughts, of course. I mean, you can have your opinion, but it makes no sense for Jorgan, for example, to stick with the Alliance if you continuously make pro-Imperial choices. As for your love interest - as I already mentioned, I can see pub companions, even romancable ones, betraying an imp-aligned Alliance, the exception being the smuggler ones - Risha, Corso and Akaavi. The alternative is less likely, because all of the original imp LI were either not loyal to the Empire to begin with (Kaliyo, Vette, Mako, Torian, Ashara, Andronikos), were more loyal to the player (Jaesa) or have had their loyalty change (Raina). Vector and Quinn are the only potential betrayers I see, although I admit I don't know what the post-Kotfe story of Vector is. He may be more loyal to the Killiks now for all I know. As for the new LI i.e. Lana, Theron, Koth and Arcann - Theron and Koth could potentially turn on you if they see you're turning into too much of a dictator. Maaaaybe even Arcann. Lana is the only one that will stay with you I believe, even if you turn out to be a monster. Again, just my thoughts on the matter. Huh, interesting. I never took Drellik for the patriotic type. I always assumed he preferred being an archeologist, and it just so happened that he was raised in the Empire. Then again, it's been a while since I played the SI class story, so I may have forgotten some details about him. You're completely correct about Lana though. I'd much prefer if someone was taken out of my rooster with active companions due to the choices I've made instead of being completely forgotten by the story. There's always the option to make such companions available from the Odessen terminal for those that don't want to lose the credits spent on companion gifts, or who just like that particular companion for whatever reason.
  8. Yup, that's correct mate. The heroics were massively changed in 4.0 to what they currently are. What an absolute waste, I'd say.
  9. Now that the storyline is going decisively Imp vs. Pub again, do you think that some companions will opt to permanently leave, or try to sabotage the Alliance? I chose to go with the Empire on Ossus with my SW, and after that I received some interesting messages from Jorgan and T7. Basically, they can be summarized in "we're still buddies, but don't make me go against my people". I can see the Alliance experiencing an internal conflict as the only logical scenario, perhaps even being lead by Theron (if you choose to spare/keep him after Nathema. I did, because the DS choices were pretty dumb). I believe he would rather remove you from power than just let everything he has worked and sacrificed for become another tool of the Empire (which is what's happening as far as the current story goes). The imp companions rebelling against the commander is somewhat harder to believe though. Even Lana, which is IMO the most patriotic towards the Empire companion at the moment, would rather follow you.
  10. Letting the civilians burn in the hangars of Taris' Reclamation base, at the end of the Imperial storyline. Choosing to shut down the power at the hospital in Axial Park, resulting in the short and brutal deaths of the people that were kept alive there. Empire storyline again. Destroying the mesas of Makeb still with Regulator presence on them (and a lot of civilians as well), once more at the end of the Imperial storyline. Choosing to have the captured padawans executed at the end of the Assault of Tython flashpoint, imp version. Choosing to blow up the bombs Kaliyo has set up around the city of Zakuul at the end of Chapter 10. From the class stories - I remember you could snap the neck of an unconscious woman at the end of the JK Alderaan class story. Oh, and I still remember the end of the Belsavis SW class story - you could force the Jedi Master to kill Baras' sister, threatening him you would just have her released after he leaves.
  11. As another guy said - plot hole. I've come to the point where I have accepted my headcanon as, well, canon and am just using the expansions as basis upon which to build upon.
  12. OP, I've beaten both KotFE and KotET on Veteran mode (or whatever the middle difficulty was called) with a sorcerer in 220/224 gear and with companions that don't go above level 20 (most of the time they were also set as dps or tank). Could the difficulty of the chapters been handled better than just ramping up the dps output of the enemies? Absolutely. But things are what they are. So either suck it up and keep trying until you beat it, or lower the difficulty.
  13. Dulfy and Exiled Messenger definitely deserve some recognition. Vulkk as well, even though he's relatively new to the game.
  14. Sorry about necroing this thread, but I feel strongly towards this subject. I am no expert, but I doubt it will be that hard to let players choose if they want to auto-complete a heroic or finish it the regular way. I also realize asking for this to be implemented is gonna fall on deaf ears, as there's a ton of such seemingly easy to fix little thingies that have been ignored for years. But hey, hope dies last.
  15. Well yes, we are sharing an account, it's just that his server died so he came to mine. Oh well, guess I'll have to try my best to ignore it. Thanks for the answer anyway.
