No. I had a guild that was over 400 strong. The vast majority of players couldn't be bothered with operations. The game economy was screwed from the start because there wasn't one. No real opportunity for players to develop relationships during levelling Empty world .. didnt bump into many players whilst levelling ... no community No tools for guild leaders And lately .. technical issues ..

Do we have any information on whether or not the queues on the consolidated servers are going to be dealt with via a technical solution or is the idea that people stop playing and the queues go away? If it is empty servers or server queues I would take server queues but it is Hobson's choice and I agree that it isn't going suit a lot of players who want to log in at a time when servers are guaranteed to have a login queue.

I agree with OP. The biggest inflation events were giving BM and Champ away for a tiny % of the effort required on release. People in BM gear did far more WZ to get it than people now.

You only need 2 players to run a flashpoint. If you can't rustle up 4 players to run a "hard mode" then you don't deserve to do a "hard" mode.

Why do you think other mmo releases will be better ? One of the challenges facing the industry that I see is that the fan base are far more solo orientated. The more that's given to appease solo players the more become solo players. The more rules /policing for cry babies the less community and reputation mean to the player base. Lot of patches and updates have had problems for over a decade. It is nothing new.

Indeed. And the point is that get annoyed isn't going to change that. This is the REALITY of MMORPGs. The free month is a generous offer. There is no significant "race" being affected here because most of the firsts have been done and those coming in this patch are still coming in this patch.

So it is a grind. Welcome to MMORPGs. It is also long enough to ensure that we don't run out of "content" and rated warzones are given a decent run for their money before the usual suspects start whining that they cant just roll into high level pvp and survive heavy combat. If a decent % of the population realise that grinding out minor kit improvements in PVP is a lot less rewarding than trying to form a solid PVE team to tackle e Operations it is an extra bonus to the game.
